I love the ladies of Hip Lash!! Beautiful results by Kim and Paige. Kim did my wedding lashes and they were dramatically full and stunning in my pictures and video. Sadly covid has really thrown this industry for a loop. But prior to shuddering the salon was always very clean,and beautifully decorated, in addition to being a warm friendly place. I know sanitation is a big deal with Kim the owner as well as Paige. I'm a germaphobe and always felt confident as they wash and sanitize hands and arms between each client. And I would watch as they replace the paper covering on the headrest. Very important for me! While in town on a work trip I wanted to get a quick lash lift in after moving away from lash extensions. I found Hip Lash Studios via Schedulicity and was able to get a same day appointment. I was initially scheduled with Paige and received a call after I'd booked stating she was already booked with another client but she would have another stylist do the lash lift. When I arrived the door was locked which was a bit concerning. I called and they gave me the code (would have been nice to be told this information ahead of time). I had been rescheduled with Bernadette for my lash lift. I'd never had one done so she walked me through the process as she went. I will mention that there was an uncomfortable tingling throughout the process (imagine tingle lip gloss...but on your eyelids) and she mentioned it was a new product and another client had mentioned the same experience. (She did spot test on her arm after and said she didn't feel anything...but still not something I'd like to have on my eyes again) When I booked online the lift was priced at $50 (note I checked today and that is still the listed price) however when I went to pay she stated it was $70. I brought this up and she was very kind but stated the price hadn't been updated online. I was visibly hesitant and she offered to honor the $50 which I turned down. She then mentioned that she was offering a free manicure with any service and offered to get me in the next day. I mentioned that wouldn't work with my schedule and she offered to stay and do it then if I had the time. I took her up on it. Overall I'd happily come back, but with the caution that the schedulicity prices may be inaccurate hence the 4 stars instead of 5. read more

I've been going to Kim for years and love what she does with my eyelashes. Finding someone who can do lash extensions is easy. Finding someone that can do it at an affordable price is a little harder. Finding someone that can do it with the eye of an artist is nearly impossible, unless you're going to Kim. She looked at my eyes, how they were shaped and discussed what might look best, but she also took into account my personality and what I might feel most comfortable with! That is a rare gift. Now that Hip Lash has expanded into a full service studio, I've also gotten my first manicure and pedicure there. (That was a wonderful experience!) When I get my next hair cut, I'm going there. I haven't tried the facials yet. Maybe when December comes around :) read more

Trying to find the place was the hard part. It's actually located inside Sola Salon Studios room #9! My lasher was Paige and she greeted me nicely even though when I was 20 minutes late from driving around. I got the volume set for my little to no lashes and it was $200 for the full set. She took great care of me and was very knowledgeable and passionate about lashes since she's being doing it for 4 years.
