My husband got the Avocado Chicken salad and I got the Crunch Pop Panini and potato soup. Everything tasted amazing! We were so full we had to forego all of the delectable desserts in the showcase. But, if that's you you're missing out on some amazing food. Today I took my wife for mother's day as they had some special items on their menu, while also keeping their regular menu available. We started with their standard dumpling appetizer. We get it everytime we eat there and they're delicious every time. The meals we picked were the the kimchi cabanara and the shrimp and grits. Both on their special mother's day menu. Both were absolutely delicious with fresh ingrediants, balanced seasonings and amazing flavors. I'm Italian and grew up eating traditional family Sunday dinners but this bowl of pasta was absolutely amazing. The atmosphere of the place is very modern with a combination of traditional asian features mixed with some modern MTV inspired artwork. If you're into craft cocktails they got you covered as well. The only miss we had to day was our server never came back to take our dessert order, when we asked to order it he confused what we said for the bill and brought that instead. Not a deal breaker, we were actually too full for it anyway and we've had their desserts before. They always inventive and delicious. At the end of the day, one small service hiccup wasn't enough to overshadow what was an outstanding meal and experience. In a city packed with chain restaurants and predictable menus, places like this are what make Hattiesburg's food scene worth exploring. If you're willing to step outside your comfort zone a little, you'll be rewarded with creative dishes, quality ingredients, and flavors you'll still be thinking about on the drive home. A group of men came in and were being very suggestive to the waitress, even grabbing her a couple times; although the waitress was clearly uncomfortable and brought the situation to the manager's attention, the manager dismissed her. I felt so poorly for this waitress. She was so kind and attentive to her customers, but Kathy treated her like a mule. I even heard Kathy tell the young lady to "use her head" after she made a simple mistake. A word of advice to the owner: cover the bald spot in the back of your head before telling someone else to use their head. And don't think you as a customer are safe. She very loudly told the waitress that she "didn't like black people hair" because it was "too messy." This woman absolutely uses and abuses her customers behind their backs and especially abuses her employees to their face. Do better. I will never be back here again, even if I am starving and their food is all I have. I would rather die that allow this pig sty to take up my time, energy, and money. That is all.

It was just automatically entered. General Tso chicken tastes like funnel cake. Powdered sugar flavor, fried bread, slight honey or vanilla. Hint of pepper. It's very tasty but not what I think of when I think General Tso. Overall this is better than some Chinese restaurants in the area. I honestly cannot say one is head and shoulders above another.
