Ono Ono Sherbert from Molokai (Cookie Monster $5 and Pineapple Mui $5)

How is there only one review so far? I know lots of people that check out this spot! I love that this business supports so many Maui County vendors and you can shop in person for businesses that may be on another island or just hard to get to their pop ups. So many cute things to check out while you order some ono food from their menu. Short and sweet menu but nothing lacking. Ono grinds made with Molokai Bread, specialty beverages and desserts whether it be mochi, bread, or sherbet. The owner is super sweet and has so much aloha! All the other workers are just as friendly. I love that you can dine in and shop or even eat outside at one of the many picnic tables. I tried the ham and cheese sandwich as well as the pizza with the works. So far so yummy and they even come with a beverage. You can't find that type of value at too many places anymore. Definitely stop in and support local!

It is walkable and about 15 minutes. A cab was $20 for two and an uber for 6 would have been $21 with a tip. The ladies in my party went to Longs to find deals on cookies, candies and nuts. It was a bit crowded in the store but other customers were friendly. There was also a TJ Maxx. It was pretty clean. There were a few eateries, a movie theater, and a few other miscellaneous shops in this mall. Close by was a Ross and a Walmart. I heard a lot of the crew went to Walmart. It was nice to take a trip off the ship and walk thru this mall.

It is anchored by a Whole Foods, TJ Maxx, Longs Drugs, and a 12 screen cinema complex. It also has an Avis-Budget office, which didn't initially appear on my list of possible rental car agencies. It could be an option for car rental, if coming from a cruise ship. There are shaded places to sit in the main courtyard, so we ended up staying there a bit before moving on. There is supposed to be free Wi-Fi, which we tried to use after giving our email address, but it didn't work

In its heyday, it was a bustling commerce & hangout spot, a favorite of senior citizens in the later part, who'd talk story, and play cards and board games under the shade of the monkeypod trees. It has since halfway burnt down and never rebuilt. The look is old and dreary. It still houses several businesses, including medical, finance, restaurants, new car inventory parking, and even a church. Parking is plentiful and vehicular access is super easy.
