I hired a landscaper to work on several garden projects on my property. This included sodding, and…read moregarden bed plantings (green giants, shrubs, etc). He was very wishy-washy with how much water the plants needed. He recommended calling the nursery where he got the plants to confirm. I called Prospero Nursery to inquire about the watering. I spoke to a woman that had quite the attitude and was very dismissive. She refused to give me any information on how much water the plants would need to thrive and kept raising her voice. I had to keep insisting that I needed help, having spent A LOT of money at their nursery. Eventually she transferred the call to a man named Craig, who was the complete opposite; very helpful and professional with his tone! I decided to let it go. I ended up calling again a week later when the sod was delivered. My one singular question was regarding the grass mix (whether it was 100% kentucky blue grass or mixed). I spoke to a woman who literally said to me "Im busy right now", cut me dead in tracks, and proceeded to leave me on hold for an extended period of time. Eventually another woman answered and I had to start the conversation over as she was unaware about my inquiry. She answered my ONE question in a matter of SECONDS and the call was done. To the woman that continues to answer the phone with a rude, loud and disrespectful tone... the same woman who refuses to actually help REAL customers... please do better or make moves! You're doing this business an injustice with your lack of customer service skills!

I was shopping for plants at the Union Square farmer's market the day before and at other places, only to find that Rose Hill had the same plants for a similar price but much healthier. Many of the nurseries around here sell mostly outdoor plants, but Rose Hill has a beautiful indoor greenhouse with many good indoor finds! Thank you Ava's for making my best friend's birthday flower delivery so special! I loved that…read moreonline ordering was easy and straightforward. I picked the BubbleGum Bliss bouquet in a deluxe size and was initially nervous with how it would show up in real life - sometimes they end up being really small. I can confidently say that Ava's delivered on exactly what I ordered and size-wise was very fair and worth the price. Flowers did differ slightly from what was pictured, but I trusted that they would use the best of what they had fresh and available. They even added some butterfly and ribbon accents that I totally wasn't expecting but turned out great. My friend loved them! The card message was also printed beautifully without any errors and the delivery was prompt - a bit early in fact which was great. All in all - online ordering was quick and easy. Prices are very fair and quality of flowers was great. For anyone that may freak out when the combination of flowers isn't exactly what's pictured in the online photo, know that the substitutions made are equal and still representative of the theme you selected.

The order was confirmed, but I never received any communication about the arrangement, its status, or an estimated delivery time. I called several times throughout the day during the business's posted hours of 10 AM-3 PM, and no one answered. I also never received a call, message, or any type of follow-up. I spent a significant amount of money on the flowers and delivery fees, so I expected at minimum some communication regarding my order. It's extremely unfortunate to spend that much money with a local business and be left completely in the dark. I understand that things can happen, but the lack of communication and inability to reach anyone is very disappointing. I sincerely hope the business can improve its customer service and communication moving forward.
