Finding the place was the hardest part as we drove around the building nearly twice before we realized the deli must be accessed from inside. Once inside, we loved the natural light pouring in and the cleanliness and openness of the deli. We took a few minutes to go through the menu as they have a lot to offer- many standard and specialty sandwiches, soups, salads, burgers and more. The lady helping us at the counter was patient and amazing, helping us to customize our order with a smile the entire time. We each ordered a different sandwich- an italian sub, a cheesesteak, a hot ham and swiss and an El Cubano. We ordered combos complete with deli chips (bagged but yummy) and a fountain drink (Coke products!) Everybody enjoyed their sandwiches. The only minor complaint during the meal is the Italian Sub had too much bread, or could have used more meat to complement the bread. If Knickerbockers ever wanted to place a location in the Phoenix Metro area we'd love to have them!

We had a group of 8 and got a chance to sit outside, which is perfect with the weather we had. We ordered the burrito, corned beef poutine, french toast flight, and the brea tower. Everything came out really fast and the presentation was on point! Our server recommended the burrito and it comes with this incredible cilantro and garlick-y sauce that is great on everything savory. I couldn't get enough of it! The staff were all super nice and welcoming and the restaurant was well kept. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu!

The menu is packed with fun and unique options, which made it hard to pick--but in the best way! We tried the stuffed French toast with Nutella and strawberries, and it was heavenly--sweet, rich, and so satisfying. We also had the lumberjack skillet, which was a total winner. It's a big, hearty dish with bacon, sausage, avocado, and this amazing green chimichurri sauce. If you're hungry, this is the dish for you! The servers were so kind and attentive, which made the experience even better. The only hiccup was the host at the front door, who didn't seem super welcoming--maybe it was just a busy day. The space itself has a nice vibe, but the seating is pretty tight when the place fills up. It's not a dealbreaker, but you might feel a little cramped during peak hours. Can't wait for the weather to be warm so we can eat outdoors. They have an awesome patio. Overall, this place is such a great addition to the neighborhood, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their menu. Definitely worth checking out.

After ordering it took them over 20 minutes to get the meals out then another 15 mins on top of that to get the salads out. They also sat out because when they got to us some of the food was not hot. They are definitely understaffed so I feel bad because you can tell they are definitely stressed. The bathroom was gross and smelt absolutely disgusting. I hope the workers are getting paid extra because they do not have enough staff today. That being said I will give this place another shot to see if it was just an issue due to call outs.

The moment I saw they had a Brigham Young burger, I just knew I had to try it. The service was also good, very attentive and kind employees who made sure we got our food as fast as possible and that our drinks were full. The only thing I truly disliked were the burger patties, and to me, that is THE most important part of the entire meal. I completely disassembled it by the end and just ate the vegetables with the buns because those were very good. The fries and fry sauce are delicious as well. As much as I loved everything else, I just can't get past how bland they were. Absolutely flavorless and too chewy. However, the heritage park is awesome, and if I come back, I will definitely try this restaurant again... I probably will just avoid the burgers.
