I never had lash extensions before so I didn't know if that was expected. But I decided to give Spa Aspara a try and it was a completely different experience. I've booked with Sopha a few times now for my lash extension and she does an amazing job. She explained to me that the lashes were not supposed to be that close to my lid which explains why I kept tearing up and my eyes stung at the last place. Also, you get worked on in a private room and not in a opened setting. They set up the room so that you're relaxed and cozy. When Sopha does my extensions she does it so lightly I swear I almost fell asleep one time. Please request Sopha if you get lash extensions!!

I had acrylics with gel polish and one nail repair and was charged $45, my friend that I was with received acrylic with gel polish and a design on her nail and it was $40 so the balance in what they were charging was clearly wrong and they were just trying to make up for themselves because they're probably struggling with covid just as I am which is why I do not appreciate being gouged the way that I was I will go to another salon where they will be more gentle with my hands and the price of the service.

The tech, who I'm assuming is the owner or at least the manager was very nice and did a fantastic job. Fast forward to 3 days later and 5 nails have cracks in the tips. I called and let the person who answered know. She asked when I wanted to come in to fix them? She didn't sound surprised, she wasn't apologetic, nothing. I wasn't extra hard on my nails I did normal every day stuff I do. Because Gel X is a softer tip I can understand if a tip was too narrow for my nail bed and it cracked from that but 5 nails?! I told her I would be there first thing in the morning when they opened. I got to the salon when it opened. The man was very nice and did a great job replacing the 5 nails. About 30 minutes later the lady who originally did my nails came in. After the man was done she asked him a question about my nails. Even though it wasn't in English I knew because he shook his hair and pointed to the top of his nail. He repeated himself a couple times and kept pointing to his finger so I can only assume he was reiterating that my nails were cracked. The station I was told to sit at when I had to go back was dirty from the day before. Clipped tips were all over the floor, the towel from the day before was on the station with clippings and acrylic drops. The tools from both visits were not clean and rusty. The nail brushes to wash your nails were all first and has that reddish algae that builds up at the base. I gave 2 stars because the man to redid my nails was very nice!
