I had a confirmed…read moreappointment with Ms. Kim at 6:00 p.m. and signed in at 5:56 p.m. When I arrived, she had another customer in her chair and directed me to check Facebook Messenger. I then saw that she had sent me a message at 5:19 p.m. asking me to come back the following day because she was "very busy." I did not see the message before arriving because not everyone constantly checks social media or has Messenger notifications turned on. This was especially upsetting because I had stopped by the salon the previous evening while Ms. Kim was sitting without a customer. She told me she had a 5:00 p.m. appointment and specifically instructed me to return today at 6:00 p.m. When I asked why she was canceling my appointment after telling me to come at that time, she repeatedly said that she was very busy and told me to return tomorrow. At that point, I explained that I needed my nails shortened because they were becoming too long and could put me out of compliance while wearing my military uniform. Instead of acknowledging my concern or apologizing, she waved her hand at me as if she were dismissing me from the salon. After briefly stepping outside, I returned and waited. Ms. Kim finished with her customer around 6:16 p.m. but then invited another person to sit at her station. When I asked whether that person had arrived before or after me, she only responded, "I messaged you." I explained that I had been a loyal customer since approximately July 2024 and asked why she had canceled my appointment to take other customers. She completely ignored me while I was standing directly in front of her speaking. I understand that salons can become busy and schedules sometimes change. However, sending a Facebook Messenger message only 41 minutes before my appointment was not an appropriate way to cancel, especially without confirming that I had received it. More importantly, I should not have been told that my scheduled appointment was canceled because she was "very busy," only to watch her take another customer after finishing the person in her chair. Waving me away and then ignoring me when I tried to address the situation was disrespectful and unprofessional. After being a loyal customer for more than two years, I did not deserve to be treated this way. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

I've come here a few times, but unfortunately this last experience will be my last. It feels like…read morethe focus has shifted to getting as many customers in and out as possible instead of taking the time to do quality work. My manicure felt extremely rushed, and the final result reflects that. My nails were uneven, the corners were sharp, and even after I mentioned the sharp edges and they were filed again, they still did not look or feel properly finished. My thumb was noticeably uneven, and the cuticle work also felt incomplete. What concerned me even more was the cleanliness. The salon and work areas looked dusty and grimy, the technician's hands did not feel clean, and I did not see the tools being sanitized before they were used on me. That made me uncomfortable, especially in a service where proper hygiene should be a priority. I really think this salon would benefit from slowing down, focusing more on each client, and taking sanitation more seriously. I've had better experiences here in the past, which makes it disappointing to see the quality decline. At this point, I'll be taking my business elsewhere and would recommend others look around for a salon that prioritizes both quality and cleanliness.

The real bummer was that she asked if I wanted a manicure and I said that I would and said no polish. When she got the bags with wax in them she put the first one on my left hand then when she did the right, she spilled the wax all over my shoes and coat. She ran my shoes back to the back room and came back with them wet, I guess trying to get the wax off with water. When she put the bag on my right hand, it didn't even cover my fingers because there was so little wax left. She felt bad you could tell and I know it was an accident but the upsetting part was that here she destroyed my coat, that will never come out, and my shoes I have to buff the wax out I guess, but she still charged me full price for everything. Even with no polish and wax everywhere. I really felt she could have given me a credit or taken some money off my bill.

Yvonne is awesome! I have seen her twice and so has my teenaged daughter, Yvonne worked with me to cover my graying roots but give me a beautiful blond color that doesn't need touch ups every 4-6 weeks. She truly is a master at what she does. She knows color and knows what is good for each person she is serving. She gets my hair done in a very reasonable amount of time, has a flexible schedule so you can get in quickly and at a time that is convenient for you. The prices at the salon are good too. I love the little plates of snacks they offer while getting your hair done as well. Easy and free parking, too. What more can you ask for? Book with Yvonne, you won't be disappointed.
