He came out to clean our solar panels and gutters and was incredibly efficient. I was stuck working and on calls the whole time, so I was not able to hover or play quality control inspector, but I did not need to. Everything was clean when he arrived since I had just finished cleaning the sidewalks and patio, and when he left, the place looked exactly the same. No mess, no debris, no signs that anyone had even been here except that everything was spotless. Luke also sent me pictures, which I really appreciated. It was honestly a relief to see that he cleaned out what had to be more than 20 years of gutter gunk. That is not a technical term, but it should be. We have had rain the last couple of days and the gutters are working great. Water is flowing like it finally remembered what its job was. Super happy with the service and would definitely recommend them.

    Some confusion going on. I had power washing done on my home. I was quoted a price by phone, but…read morereceived a different, higher estimate by email. It was no big deal and I agreed to the higher price, but the technicians came to do the work with the lower price. Again, no big deal, but still confusing because it's not clear what I'm paying and price should be clear (especially if you are pre-writing a check). I confirmed the time of my appointment on several occasions which made it confusing when my technicians arrived an hour later than they should have and I had to ask for an ETA on their arrival. I suggest rather than committing to an exact time, provide a range and flexibility. That way customers can decide if that range works for them. Being on time and providing status updates if you're going to be late is a professional curtesy especially for customers on tight timelines. The cleaning was done nicely, but I did later notice spots in corners that were missed (i.e., behind doors). The front porch area was cleaned, but then the technician blew leaves back on it. They do answer their phones unlike other competitors that you just cannot seem to get ahold of no matter what. However, their power washing is a lot higher price than other competitors. Unfortunately I don't have time to have them come back out and fix anything they might have missed. I'm strapped for time as is. I'd work on communication, attention to detail, and leaving the place clean. Also, consider putting before and after pictures in some sort of written professional document like a PDF you can leave with the customer same day with a receipt before you leave.

They have a lot of synthetic materials, painted instead of real solid wood furniture pieces, etc. During the holidays it's a nightmare but easier to manage in the afternoon. I ended up buying some clearance lamps for a friend here. They had some cute styles but many of them are just too fake for me. If you look hard and are willing to spend more there are some natural stone pieces with some wood accents. My husband says the only thing this kind of store is good for is decorating a little girls room.. felt pretty accurate. Kitchenware also seemed overpriced for what it was.

We browsed around and made sure to stop in the dog section to browse for toys, this ones seemed a bit smaller of a selection than some of the stores we frequent, but they had a lot of Halloween costumes for dogs right now. The staff were friendly and while we didn't find everything we were looking for we had fun browsing and I got one of the items on my list.

I've noticed that the glaze on two of them is breaking down, exposing the raw ceramic underneath--I can provide pictures. I tried emailing Jars directly but received no response. Do you or they offer some sort of guarantee on the product? I am thinking the bowls are not safe to eat from anymore. Thanks! Cristina Hi Cristina, We are very sorry to hear about the glaze issue. We have sold thousands of Jars bowls and plates over 20 years and have not heard similar reports. There may be an unusually harsh combination of dishwasher chemicals and hard water, I cannot say. If this had happened in the first year of use we certainly would alert Jars and they might issue a replacement, but unfortunately after five years there is really nothing we can do. Best regards, Ray Terrestra.com Hello Ray, I understand that the bowls are not new but I would appreciate that you share the images with Jar--the deterioration of the glaze is occurring in all three of the bowls that I have in "Jade" but the ones I have in "Neige" show no signs of deterioration. This indicates to me that there is a difference in the glaze and it is not a problem or fluke on my end. I do use these bowls a lot but there is no indication that they are not for everyday use.
