Being pool operator certified myself, hiring this company to manage our personal pool has saved us so much time and concern. Through multiple freezes, filter changes, so many worn out parts successfully replaced, and quick and value for the response time, glad we've used them for so many years. Especially knowledgeable is Mr. Andy, with being about to solve, maintain, or fix almost anything. If not, he works to get warrantied parts installed with care and accuracy. Large or small pools, commercial or personal, they professionally handle it all. Highly recommend. Cost is worth the expert service

Sean is personable and genuinely cares about the overall maintenance of his customers' pool. After the first cleaning we thought he would actually try to clean the sticks and dirt from the bottom of the pool, yes the pool was clear and we could swim but there was a lot of sticks and leaves still on the bottom of the pool. The guy responded from me asking why he didn't clean the sticks and dirt out and I asked if he was coming the next day to do it. He said he's not coming back the next day I needed to wait until Tuesday and be happy that I had a fast turn around for my pool clearing out. It was barely a week and the leaf collector in the pool was filled that shows after two "cleanings" that he didn't ever vacuum the pool. We canceled our cleaning because it never was fully cleaned and we were quoted $185 and wound up with tax $200. When he came we had to pay like $500 for repairs then that same day he asked us to pay $200 again for may. We found a cheaper place and we will learn how to clean our own pool. I swam in it today and theirs dirt on top of the water, dirt inside the pool and on the bottom. Really from chlorine other than that and emptying the trays I don't see any other cleaning. Also the first cleaning we said we needed someone to get in and scrub the pool when we talked on the phone he said oh you might wanna get someone to scrub the pool I'm thinking I asked you to do that but all I replied with was okay so we could end the conversation.

I am writing this review two years after our pool was installed. Waterside Poolscapes installed our…read moreinground pool and hot tub. Getting a pool was a huge decision for us. We got several quotes and visited with multiple vendors. After much consideration, we decided to go with Waterside. Communication is extremely important to us - and we wanted to be a part of each step. Jackson kept us in the loop as the process progressed. The service that we received was excellent and timely. The project was completed in the amount of time they stated that it would be. To attest to the integrity of Waterside, during the process, our neighbor sustained a minor sprinkler damage and Waterside fixed the damage quickly without any issues. When we ran into an issue with the hot tub, a year after being installed, I contacted Jackson and he personally came out to check on it, found the problem, and fixed it - again with no issues or having to go back and forth about whose fault it was. Our backyard is now a beautiful oasis. The pool and hot tub have been a blessing to us - it has provided a place for my family to relax and spend time together. We highly recommend that if you are considering putting in a pool you use Waterside Poolscapes! Thanks again to Mike and Jackson for making our dream pool come to life!

Update Update: Going back to full 5 stars.. would give more if it were possible. I hadn't even…read morehit up Waterside on the issue with the landscape irrigation system damage mentioned below, but they hit me up to ask and are compensating for the loss (voluntary, i didn't even ask!). As I'd said below, even with the 1 relatively speaking minor issue, I was still going back to them for any future work. As I said below: I can't even imagine contacting anyone else for my pool system/pool needs. Really exceptional company here. Update: Unfortunately, I do need to knock a couple of stars off. The installation, and equipment used is still WONDERFUL, and done very well, however I have found out that in 3 different places the work they did damaged my installed lawn sprinkler system piping. Worse, this wasn't something they could possibly have not known about as the water supply isolation valve was closed. I've now had to pay for a 2nd job (with someone else) to do all the repairs, and will have to pay for sections of my sodding that have died out as a result of not getting water during this recent dry period (is how i found out there was a problem with the sprinkler system.) I still will use Waterside in the future as their work on the system they were contracted for was still great, but In the future I will follow up and check out other home systems that are anywhere near the location they work in. After this experience, I can't even imagine considering another contractor. My entire pool control system burnt up in a fire. Everything needing replacing, the pipework, valves, pumps, control system, filter, heater.. everything. They scheduled fast (next day). Jeff showed up, did a great assessment, discussed options, and totally worked with my budget. David and his plumber crew, electrician crew, and fence repair crew.. Fast scheduling, kept to schedules, and the work is so professionally done (much more so than the original installers). their selection of equipment was great (went Pentair instead of my previous Hayward system, and I never want to go Hayward again either now). The electrical crew is really where they shined. Very professional cable conduit/cable runs, J-box installation, and cable routing. The concrete pad they poured for the pumps and filter, and 2nd pad for the heater was likewise done fast, and professionally, and just how I'd asked. Will be a return customer for any contractor needs that they cover.

I paid him for several months even though I was getting reports from a neighbor that the pool wasn't being cleaned well. Then one day he called to tell me the pool had a leak and was losing 2" per day which is a lot. I paid for a leak detector to start testing plumbing lines, have spa, pool & 3 waterfalls so a lot to test. After 3 days they found NO Leak but discovered that someone had turned a valve which caused one of the Rain Arcs to spray over the pool so it was draining the pool 30 min each day as it was set to run by time clock. The only person around the equipment was Richard so he likely turned the valve by accident. When I informed Richard of his mistake he said he Quit. This was in the middle of month and he wouldn't refund the remainder of the month. Within a day I hired someone else who discovered that the pool was 6 bags of salt low, had low chlorine and both skimmers were packed with leaves. So Richard was just collecting a check but not doing what he was paid to do. I have another neighbor that had heard negative reviews but unfortunately I didn't listen.
