They have always been legendary amongst the locals, with some of the best sandwiches, best homemade bread and incredible wraps and other baked goods. That is until the establishment was sold and taken over by new owners a couple years ago. The quality of food has gone down and the customer service is outright atrocious. They have one female employee in particular, with glasses, short hair and a nose ring who has no business working any kind of job that offers customer service in any kind of way. The new owners (definitely not from around here) are very dismissive and seem to have no appreciation of the locals and tourists who keep them in business. The only reason this post gets 2 stars instead of 1 star is because they still have incredible donuts. It's their only saving grace. I would suggest improving on customer service. It would be a good start to making things better. That and make your prices more competitive. I can go across the street to the burger barn for a amazing juicy burger for less.

Perhaps that description is a little over the top for a chain sandwich shop but they certainly know how to serve it up. I've eaten there since they have two established shops in Vermont both in the greater Burlington area and they're only about a half hour to 40 minutes away from me and we do a lot of business in that area anyway cause they have everything you're looking for so we pop into Jersey Mike's on occasion and we've never been disappointed and getting back to my first experience in Saratoga, New York or Glen falls area that experience was our first one with Jersey Mike's and it was unforgettable. I had their Philly cheesesteak with portobello mushroom and it was excellent with flavor and everything else as far as ambience. Well, it is a chain so there's not much to comment on here except for they do as well as they need to for a takeout chain where you can sit in and eat if you choose, but they do do a great job. Kmr
