Because my business depends on my machines, I couldn't wait. Luckily I met Johnathan, who is extremely responsive, and is as convenient as it gets. He gives me the best pricing in addition to usually repairing my equipment and returning it the very next day. If he has to order parts, he texts or calls me and then constantly updates me. I haven't had to have him check out a repair he's done at all, but I know if it were the case, he would be more than happy to take care of it. I contacted Nova Mower Repair by email to get a quote to have my riding lawn mower serviced. The…read moremower started and drove fine, but my blades were bad and the deck needed to be leveled. Jonathan responded that they could do the repair but the pickup of my mower and the estimate would be $150. The $150 would be deducted from the cost of the total repair. I agreed and he came to pick up my mower. I wouldn't say the repair was quick because he had my mower for a couple weeks. No big deal since Spring was coming and I figured they were pretty busy. Still, I got no updates from Nova Mower Repair until I requested a status on my mower. Again, this was after a couple weeks had passed. Shortly after I asked about the status, the repair was completed and my mower was returned. I was told that the engine had been serviced, the deck had been leveled, and my blades had been sharpened. Jonathan also mentioned that my belt needed to be replaced. I thought that it was odd that he didn't replace it for me since assumed that would have been included in the repair that he performed. Total cost of the service was $300 (minus the $150 I had already paid). The cost sounded steep, but I was happy not to have to fix the mower myself. Unfortunately, when I attempted to cut my grass I noticed right away that one of the blades was cutting lower than the other, which meant the deck hadn't been leveled. Also, the blades seemed to be struggling to spin. Not only did it sound awful, but it also caused piles of cut grass to just sit on top of my lawn. (I've got a mulching lawn mower, so that is not supposed to happen). To make matters worse, I discovered that the brakes no longer worked. I asked Jonathan about the repairs made to my mower but he didn't seem like he was interested in elaborating. The bottom line is I ended up have to replace my blades, replace the belt, and level the deck myself. Jonathan was a very nice guy on the phone and in person and I appreciate the fact that his company will pick up and deliver your riding mower. He also gave me some great advice about where to get a good weed eater and what brand to buy. Sadly, I was disappointed in the quality of service I received. I expected to have my mower returned to me in better shape than when it was picked up but that was not my experience. Your mileage may vary.

Unfortunately he did not call in advance so I wasn't prepared. I was in the middle of something that I couldn't drop and took me about 10 min. Then the snow blower was on the back porch so I had to add gas, get out the electric start cord and bring it out front. When I got there he had left. When I called him he was very rude saying he had already wasted a half hour and would have to clean the carb (he claimed the gas was bad but it ran fine). Most of this could have been avoided if he would have just called before coming so I could be ready for him. Never will call him again for anything.
