I called three times and made appointments and never heard from the business. This review is LONG overdue. Simmons Glass did shower and bath rub frameless sliding doors for me when I bought my house back in 2019. Mike was very easy to work with and helpful throughout the process, especially being a first time home buyer. They did a fantastic job and the quality of materials was top notch. One of my shower doors, however, would allow water to pass through. I couldn't figure out where it was coming from so they had someone come out and take a look, as well as had some clear liner things to seal with the door when it's closed. It didn't work. They came out again and found a gap where there was some silicone that was supposed to be placed but missed. Though they missed this issue when installing, they were very responsive and helpful in making sure everything was 100% perfect. Fast forward a few years, I reached out to Mike to get some sliding mirror doors done for a reach in closet. Again, high quality materials and work. But, through no fault of Simmons Glass, the color tone of the brushed nickel frame was a very bronze hue. I contacted Mike and due to the size of my mirror doors, there was only one manufacturer that could produce the product and their brushed nickel at that moment all looked that way. We worked together for several weeks to get new samples and after a long time, we finally got a sample that we were happy with. After all this time, they still honored their workmanship and customer satisfaction and came back and replaced the mirrored doors at no cost. I sincerely appreciate Mike and all the installers that came through to make sure everything was perfect. I called several places about getting a glass for my dining table and they gave me the lowest quote so I hopped on over to the business. However, the GPS gets a little crazy about where Commerce is so I got a little lost. This business is not the easiest place to find! Apart from location, the employees were very helpful and easy to work with. I paid for my glass top and a couple days later got a call to pick it up. The gentlemen were nice enough to help me move my seats around in my suv since I had trouble getting the last row to fold down. The transaction went smoothly and I would recommend them to my friends who would like a custom glass top for their dining table or dresser. They came to our newly remodeled home to install closet doors, damaged our brand new cabinet doors as they were trying to install, denied it for the longest times until we found out from 2 eye witnesses that they had actually done it and they finally admitted to it! It cost $800 to remake those doors and they said for the longest time the owner knows the owner of cabinet company so they will order it and make out deal with them... NEVER HAPPPENED! We have used Simmons 2 times in the last 12 months. 1 star is for the shower they installed in our master last year. Really good experience and we're happy with the product. The 2nd star is for Miquel who was really nice when he came out to measure and give us the quote. But from there its all gone down hill. 1 star is taken off because: Miquel measured and sent us a quote. We wanted to go ahead and place the order and Miquel was supposed to get in contact with some additional info over the phone and email the next day (Friday morning). We didnt hear from him until Monday. When I pointed out that he was supposed to contact us Friday morning he told us he was busy (no apology). Another star subtracted because: I receive a call from the office to schedule our install for the following day. With such short notice its hard for me to work my schedule around as a mom of 4. Whoever I talked to on the phone was being a total smart-a** and huffed and puffed and even laughed at the other end of the line when I told him there was no way for me to be available for the 2hr windows he offered (10-12. I said 11.30 and 1-3 I said anytime before 2.30). Telling me: 'Pft. You know, thats not how it works!! So you're telling me NO time is good for you..?' I suggested a different day when my schedule was more accommodating - But I guess they really wanted to get the job done on THIS day and I ended up getting my install scheduled for 1-3pm WITH the promise I'd be able to leave at 2.30 to pick up my kids with an install close to 1pm. Star nr. 3 goes bye bye because: Get a call from installer 12.50. 'We are 45min-1hr away' (hmmm kay. so much for getting there at 1). They show up at 2.30!!! The time I had to leave. I comment: 'oh I got nervous You guys were lost'. And AGAIN no apology. Just a hehe. So unbelievably unprofessional. At that point I actually felt like asking the 2 workers to leave - but we HAVE to finish our bathroom and we had already paid for the product. They finish in 2hrs and leave. I pack up my kids to go to the park and get a phone call from one of the installers: 'Hey can you text me a picture of the shower?' Sure. NOT EVER 3 MINUTES LATER I get a TEXT: Hey, can you send that pictures of the shower?? Seriously? I am a PAYING customer. Its MY bathroom. That I paid for. If you forgot to take a picture of Your work - sorry dude! I don't mind sending a picture. But to expect me to drop what Im doing to run up there to take a picture for the installer? Come on. We have been happy with the product we had installed last year AND the shower we had installed this time around looks great. BUT there is no way we'll return for bathroom nr.3. Disappointed in the unprofessionalism and total lack of customer service this time around. read more

We just purchased a brand new home that needed a few finishing touches, shower doors being one of them, and so I had dealt with a good share of contractors, builders, and independent specialty companies. A common occurrence was to get an estimate by phone or email, and then once they came to see the new house and saw that my husband wasn't there, the prices suddenly got way more expensive. With Simmons Glass, they let me get a quote over the phone using my own measurements. The quote was WAY lower than any price a contractor or other glass shop had given me, so I expected things to of course change when they showed up to take actual measurements and show me catalog samples. Not only was their sales representative very professional and nice, his quote came in at exactly what was estimated by phone. He measured everything quickly but precisely. The custom shower doors were manufactured and ready for install within two week (right on time with their promise), and their install guys were quick, friendly, courteous, and left ZERO mess behind. Additionally, they were very patient with my hyper-curious lab puppy, and took extra precautions to make sure I wasn't exposed to harmful fumes since I'm pregnant. The new shower doors are great, and the protector treatment we upgraded with does a great job. It was a struggle to set up an appointment for a measurement for a mirror installment. Once measured, Graham who seems to have more responsibilities in the office than one person can handle, never called to finalize the quote. The guys at Simmons are on point! I remodeled our smallish master bath & wasn't really sure what I wanted. I called & they said a guy could come out with samples the next day or to come into the showroom right now. I had time that day & wanted to get it done, so I went in. Jim helped me go through lots of samples to find a clean modern look for my new bathroom & even recommended a funky cool "wave" theme to follow the angled ceiling! He sketched it up for me & I loved it! He had two guys come out two days later with wood to make a template of the "wave". My shower is unique & awesome (see pics, you'll know the one)! My vanity has a curved backsplash & they made a template for that, too. Both were installed & finished within a week, and the workers showed up on time, which wasn't common with most of the other guys I used for the remodel. They even wore little nurses booties over their shoes, so they wouldn't mark up my light carpet! So glad the tile guy recommended them! read more

Had shower doors installed a few months ago. They're really nice, came out great. The guest bathroom door came off the tub but Simmons Glass came out and fixed it, no problem. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that if you want the doors positioned in a certain place on your tub or shower, they won't ask, they install the same way on each job. However, they did come and move it over a notch (we have really small bathrooms, the extra inch was huge for elbow room). Whenever they came back, they were very nice and efficient. Never once made me feel like I was a burden. Overall, from my research, probably the best in the area considering workmanship and prices. Military friendly too! read more

The only issue was the 3 days delay from the original timeframe, but that was due to the glass company as we had highly customized glass cut. One more comment - the bathroom cannot be used in 48 hours after installation. Also the warranty covers mostly the metal hardware for a year. The glass is not covered and the silicon is only for 3 months. read more

I found Simmons glass on Yelp. Along with a few others, I received quotes from them. I went to their shop and talked to Graham, who was knowledgeable and very nice. Miguel came out to measure, again very nice guy. He recommended the low iron glass because my shower is mainly white tiles. At first I thought it was an up-sell, but researching it myself I agreed and ordered. They said 10 working days and they called me on day number 10. Isiah and Joseph came and did the install and they couldn't have been nice. The shower looks amazing and after 8 months of restoration (due to a leak) and all the broken promises of other companies that I have had to deal with, this company has restored my belief that there are good people out there willing to do what they say. I got 3 estimates for a gym wall mirror, and Simmon's Glass was the lowest. They said the service would take 7-10 days. We filled out our paperwork and sent in our deposit the next day, but it took several calls and over week to get someone out to do a final measure. Then the stories started. First, they couldn't install because the mirror was damaged. Of course, I had to call them to find this out. The next week, the truck the mirror was on broke down, and they couldn't install. This was getting frustrating and costly for us because we had to take time off work each time they said they were coming and didn't. The third time was not a charm. When they finally did install the gym mirror they damaged our flooring... they had wiped it down with water and we didn't see the damage until it dried. We called them and sent photos as soon as it dried, but we had already signed off on the work and were stuck. read more
