Went to pay for it in October and it went up slightly in price which I expected. Paid the full amount. The next day they arrive to my house and install the pipe. One of the men was here for the install in 2022. A couple days later I received an email for an additional $397. I called and spoke with Sherry the owner. Her explanation was on install in 2022 it required more pipe but they didn't charge me and it wasn't noted in their records. New estimate was off of their mistake. She went so far as to tell me it was my fault I didn't measure and tell them how much I would need. Excuse me but they should know. My living room is open 2 story to the roof. How do I measure that? She went as far as to say If I didn't like it I could pay for extra pipe from 2022 or they will just come take it down and I could find another company. There was no talking to her. She was angry and defensive from the beginning.

My husband and I wanted a second opinion and as soon as our second opinion man looked up our fireplace with his flashlight his first words were "you had this cleaned?" He actually ran a camera up the chimney and showed us the 3rd degree build up and said whoever cleaned this just used a brush. New guy used a chain to clean it than ran the camera back up it to show us it was clean and deamed it safe to use and we did not need a 3,000.00 liner. By the way Joe said the fireplace wasn't safe to use and urged us to get a liner. I'm so glad we got a second opinion from a real professional who uses a camera before and after the cleaning. You wanted to charge us $10,000 to do work to repair supposed "cracks" that didn't exist when we got a second opinion. Red flag for me came up when your inspection and work from July 2024 contradicted what you said June 2025. I have proof you inspected my chimney with a camera in 2024 and approved it. There is no way $10,000 worth of damage happened in less than one year. They like to up-sale repairs for fake faulty mortar joints and overcharge for things. The picture they showed me wasn't a mortar joint. I now have better pictures of my actual mortar joints. And now I have a second opinion to back that up. I will never use your services again, and I will be sure to tell my cousin who works for a news station. You can't fool me.

A woman said it would be $200 just to come out and I laughed at her over the phone. When I called back to inquire about the quote I was told that I was out of their service area so I asked why no one notified me of that information and was met with silence. Conflicting stories and prices helped me to determine I would not be moving forward with them for the install of my wood burning stove.
