Well after walking through the door that was held open by Jade who turned out to be our server my attitude immediately changed and I kinda knew this was going to be a excellent experience. My 90 year old dad never goes anywhere without his wheelchair which can come with some challenges but Jade took the time to ensure it was not an issue here and made my dad feel comfortable before taking our drink order I had a coca-cola since I was driving and my dad ordered an ice cold Miller Lite in a bottle and a glass of water. The selections here are many but we had decided before we started driving here we both wanted boiled crabs for sure among a few other things. We both ordered a cup of Chicken and Sausage Gumbo to start served with white rice it was absolutely delicious with a dark roux and very flavorful as I expected from these parts. Then the entrées, I knew immediately I wanted the blue point boiled crabs and shrimp with potatoes and corn cooked extra spicy, even though it's messy being the crabs are boiled live and there's work to get to the delicate sweet meat it's worth the effort especially since these blue crabs were very big which made me very happy. My dad decided on the fried shrimp basket that came with fries and a side salad which made me question his choice since I know he loves crab but maybe the blue crabs was a little more work than he wanted to tackle so I ordered him a side of snow crabs which he loves and is much less of a mess, this made him raise his brow but once the food arrived he enjoyed it all not only because it was so delicious but mostly because he and I were sharing a meal that we have enjoyed all my life. The service here was exceptional I know the place wasn't busy but Jade paid extra to ensure we had the best experience and really catered to my dad making this a memorable experience that we both will never forget. This was definitely worth the drive, the food was fresh and delicious and we both left knowing we will do this again - it was a good day...

I called the store and spoke to someone in the meat market. They offered to replace them, but that would mean driving over there, picking them up, returning home, and cooking the next batch. They said it must have been a bad batch. I don't buy that. The meatloaf this past week was just as peppered. Management ought to be concerned if an employee is working to lose a lot of loyal customers if they don't get a quality control program in place.
