While I was waiting for an appointment in Redlands I decided to get my eyebrows done and just picked a random place on Google. Boy was I surprised, I have never received such a spa like treatment for my eyebrows. She took her time on each individual eyebrow, applied an oil to my dry skin and forehead (massaged it in) and did a little filler because I am getting a little thin in my eyebrow section. All of that personalization for $12. I wish I lived closer because this would be my go to spot. But I will make sure I definitely stop by here every time I'm in the area. read more

New to the area, I thought I'd give this place a try based on the reviews. I went in on Friday only to be told that the girl who does brazilian's was not in. Okay, so I thought I'd still give it a try on Saturday. So I called all morning and throughout the day on Saturday, oddly, no one ever answered the phone. Yet, I returned Saturday afternoon, thinking I'd be able to get waxed. The young girl told me they don't do brazilian's anymore and she said the website is outdated, if it still says they do waxing. (So update your damn site people, so that your aren't advertising services you no longer offer.) Okay so I drove over there two days for nothing. I decided to get my eyebrows threaded since I drove all the way over there a second day. What a complete disaster and waste my gas and time. Before the girl started threading my brows, I specifically and clearly told her: "PLEASE Do not do my brows thin, because I have big eyes and I don't want the pencil drawn on look. Please just clean my brows up." She said okay....indicating she completely understood my request. She finished my brows and handed me the mirror, so that I could look at my brows. I screamed in horror because she made my brows ridiculously thin and made my right brow extremely shorter than the left. My brows now look like I drew them on with a No. 2 pencil. I immediately told her that I specifically told her just to clean my brows up...Conversely, she did what the hell she wanted to do, then had the nerve to tell me that she kept them as they already were...What a freakin' liar and an idiot. She even had the nerve to still charge me. I will never return to this place. Fix your F'n website to reflect the services you actually provide and get rid of the little girl who is incapable of following instructions on how people want their brows. read more

Went for my first time to Simi's on Friday to get my eyebrows right for graduation. Felt welcome and comfortable from the minute I walked in. Had the privilege of getting my eyebrows threaded by the amazing Alka. I have scars on my right eyebrow and most places I've been to have had issues making both my eyebrows match(I usually have to fix them a bit myself after)with Alka this was definitely not the case. She did my eyebrows perfectly(so fast and amazing). I will only be coming to Simi's to visit Alka to get my eyebrows done from now on. If you haven't been here I highly recommend them. LACK OF GRACE AND ETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICE!!! My wife took our teenage daughter in for eyebrow waxing and the end result was nothing short of atrocious and hideous. As pictured, my daughter suffered a procedure that left her right eyebrow half barren. The woman responsible for this hack-job blamed her utter incompetence on my daughters pubescence, stating, "it was because of hormonal changes." As you can see from the photo provided a day prior to our visit, it is evident that my daughters eyebrows were full and lush. With our daughter visibly upset, struggling to hold back her tears, my wife inquired of how the business owner could possibly make this wrong a right. The business owner haughtily answered, "it was probably already like that. If I know it's my fault, I won't charge." Only a deceitful dullard would have the audacity to lay such a false claim and demand payment for shameful incompetence! I'm in complete shock. I've been to many eyebrow threading places and in my head I thought (after reading some negative reviews) - how bad can this be?! I've got a lot of eyebrow and they can't butcher this so badly! So it looks like we have a serial left eyebrow cutter here based on other reviews! She chopped off like 1/8" from the middle of my eyebrow. Why?! Is there some new trend I'm missing here? Seriously bummed out this asymmetry - one eyebrow now looks like it's constantly raised and I'm on the verge of tears trying to figure out how to remedy it as I've never in my life had to draw eyebrows in. I needed my eyebrows done before heading out of town. I didn't have time to go to my regular place in San Bernardino. This place had fairly good reviews and I took a chance. When I sat down, my instructions were 1) clean 2) do not make my eyebrows thin. After she was done and I looked in the mirror my eyebrows were thin. Customer service is not the best and I now have to grow my eyebrows back . Disappointed and not sure what the hype is about. My go-to place in the IE for eyebrow threading. Both the owner, Simi and Najma do a great job. I have been seeing Najma for the past few times and she really takes her time. I was never hurried. She is meticulous and precise. She makes sure they're even and any extra baby hairs are plucked away. Also fills in for me at the end. And helps me trim them. I'm pretty much a regular and she always remembers what I want. $9.00 for eyebrow threading. There's also a green 10-15 minute parking zone right in front of the shop. Seems pretty nice! The shop is clean and the owner is friendly. My biggest problem with most threading places is that that make my eyebrows too thin, but that definitely wasn't a problem here. Her method was also pretty painless, and this is coming from someone who has a very low tolerance for pain. My eyebrows look natural, not too arched, and not too thin. My only issue was that one of my eyebrows seemed slightly shorter than the other, but I'm going to ask her to fix t right now (still at the shop!). I'll have to come back again to see if my review stays the same, but right now I feel that I've finally found a pretty nice threading shop in Redlands! read more

I thought I would save time and go to this eyebrow threading place while I was in the area. This was the WORST idea that I've had. She not only took forever but SCREWED up my eyebrows. They were uneven and misshaped, she ruined all the proper shaping that I had done. I had to pay another lady to fix them, and thankfully my eyebrows were able to be fixed. Even the new eyebrow threader was disappointed and asked where in the world I got such a terrible eyebrow threading. Great price for underarm waxing($10) compared to other places. Simi does a good job. However, I no longer come for my eyebrows because of the last time when my eyelid was cut when her assistant did them. I asked for a clean up and I left with two different shaped eyebrows, though she was kind.

I got my eyebrows micro bladed. She did not let the numbing cream stay on long enough and I felt rushed. I was told it would take about 2 hours and she was done in one hour. It was so painful that I could hardly stand it. When I complained, she put a little more of the numbing cream but she only waited 5 more mins. When I got back to work, I could tell that I had a mess on my hands. The two eyebrows didn't match. One had a higher arch than the other. One was longer than the other. They were uneven. One started out square, the other one round. They were so dark and I am a blonde. I asked for a light brown, as my son was getting married the next month and I wanted them to look good. They had spaces in them and they just look awful.I now have to put on under eye coverup, then a thick makeup over them everyday to hid them. I asked for my money back and she did give it to me with a little debate. I check and she is not licenced in the city of Redlands to do anything but threading. Not nails, not waxing, not facials. She won't give me her insurance information. She is not a estitian or has anything to prove that she should be doing micro-blading on anyone. Micro-blading has someone cutting into your skin with a razor blade and causes a lot of bleeding. Then you get permanent ink into your skin. Please everyone, check out the person that you let do this to you. I now have to get a lot of correction work done that is going to cost me thousands of dollars and take hours of my time. Don't go to this place. Threading is one thing, because your hair grows back. Permanent makeup is serious business and can ruin your face. I own a hair salon and have been doing hair for over 40 years. Beauty is my business. I have a state licence to do what I do. I have a city licence from Redlands. I have insurance to protect me.
