The useless manager said theres nothing she can do that we can come back in 5 days but we don't want to waste or time again.

I absolutely love this place! I saw Sophia for my wax and I'm so glad I did! She was amazing! She made me feel so comfortable throughout the wax and even did breathing techniques during the more sensitive areas. She made the wax so pain free! The space is adorable and so clean! I also received a goodie bag with a little bottle of hand sanitizer, and the best part was that the sanitizer actually smelled good! However today I was exactly 5 min late, and she immediately messaged me with a "no show" message following an invoice for $40. I was confused since that is her grace period according to her policy. I was scheduled at 4:30, but got there at 4:35. Her studio door was shut with a do not disturb sign. I found that unprofessional given that I was scheduled to come in. The respectful thing for Alexa to have done should've been to have her door open and let me know she wasn't going to take me in rather than just having her door shut. I know I was late, but it was within those five minutes "I'm allowed". As business owner I feel like they should be able to work with her customers. This was the first time I was late to an appointment with her. The only way of contacting her is through instagram, but it's not a quick response time on her end. Which I understand given she's working on clients. So I don't know how I would've been able to explain my situation. To add more to her being unprofessional Alexa blocked me on instagram. I was not problematic nor did I cause a scene. I don't understand the need to have to do this. These small business owners have all these policies you have to follow, but are ok to have excuses on their own terms. My advice for anyone trying to book with Alexa is not to count on the 5 minute grace period she claims to give. This whole situation made me feel like I was scammed since I was within my 5 minute grace period, but was still charged the $40 without any service.

The last time I got a haircut in this area was at their previous location with the amazing Fran. She had been cutting hair for some time and whenever I'm in the area and are in need of a really good haircut/hairstyle, Fran has always been my go to! Since I had just moved back to Loma Linda and needed a haircut, I couldn't settle for any other haircut place or any other hair dresser other than with Fran and/or wherever she was currently working. I had to do some research and figure out where the new Reveal Hair and Body was located. It was a bit confusing at first since they changed their name to Sante Beauty Bar, but their logo of a white lotus was still the same. I first looked the business up online and called their main number about 11am without any answer. I then stopped by their salon that same day, on a Sunday afternoon at about 1pm, only to discover the doors locked, their lights off, and their front door saying they're by appointment only. I nearly gave up until I received a phone call from their number at about 5pm that same day. The call was from one of their representatives following up to set up an appointment with one of their stylists. I then opted in for text messages to schedule a hair appointment the following day. About an hour and half after the phone call, I received a text about an opening for 1pm the following day with the hair stylist Sundae. I personally didn't mind that the hairstylist was someone I didn't know since the process of scheduling a haircut already seemed to be a few steps too many, and the cut I wanted was pretty straightforward. I showed up to the salon the following day right at 1pm, with the relief that someone was inside and the door was unlocked. To my surprise, I found Fran, the only stylist in the salon when I walked in, asking if I had an appointment. I then mentioned to her that I had scheduled with the hair stylist, Sundae, at 1pm. Fran then broke the news that Sundae had cancelled my appointment and should've told me. I was slightly shocked and confused since I didn't receive any notification of any changes in my appointment. I would've been happy to reschedule, but without hesitation, Fran told me that she would cut my hair herself. Even though Fran had another hair appointment, she was very professional and the end result of my haircut was amazing. Fran hadn't lost her touch after all this time. The salon itself looked ready for customers, but still in the early decorating stages. There was definitely some difficulty getting a hold of someone to make an appointment and not much communication of any appointment updates (like a cancellation). This whole process felt like a lot of hoops to go through since I just needed a trim. Overall, the customer service of the entirety for the salon was about a 3/5 stars. The customer service of Fran was a 5/5 even until now.
