Last night she said they woke her up at 2:35 AM to chg her and get a sample of her private part per the doctors request. She had no knowledge of this so she fought them. (She is 91 and weighs 60 pounds). A male nurse held her down while the female nurse took the sample. Why wake her up at 2:35 AM. This place is horrible to my elder friend. I live out of state from her but sad she has to defending herself. Please consider another place to get rehab.

Everyone I met there from staff members to other clients treated me like family. The whole team was super accommodating and encouraging. It felt like they were genuinely happy that I was there and wanted to help me. I really liked that it's a smaller facility, so you get plenty of individual attention and you always get a chance to feel heard. Aside from the staff and community, the facility was nice and comfortable. I had my own room for half my stay and had one roommate the other half. The weather was beautiful so I loved the backyard area. Oh, and the chef there is so good! I did not expect to eat that well in a detox.

I went to Genesis PT before and after surgery - a total of 14 months...mostly worked with Justin, but I also saw Josh...along with the multiple aides for exercises, ultrasound and therapeutic massage (Jackie). The whole team at Genesis run by Dr. Ray Camacho is top notch - I got to know them pretty well, and the entire place is run like a well-oiled machine when it comes to good and effective care, professionalism, and expertise. The front office staff was always on top of requesting insurance approval at the right intervals so that my care always continued with no interruptions - the receptionist always made sure to remind me that I could set up more appts, as she kept careful track of when my next/last appts were scheduled. SMART, kind, friendly and good people work here! Best of all, I have full range of motion back with no pain. It was a long, difficult road to recovery, but I know this team made at the difference in my healing process (after switching from two other Simi PT businesses that I was dissatisfied with). Even with being a teenager, he is now spending time with us and engages in topics. I love it! The therapists were able to do family sessions with us. They provided us with skills and educated us on my kid's diagnosis. The therapist educated us on CBT and DBT and how those skills work. Even I use them. We have seen our kid improve at school and home. The director has always made time for us. She has gone above and beyond. She has made herself available at all times of the day. We had a crisis one night and she stayed until 10pm deescalating, giving recommendations and even called in the morning to see how we were doing. They care about us. Gisela at the front is without a doubt the best! She got us in that same day! She is sweet and patient with us during the intake process. 5/5 would recommend. What I love the most is that my child is able to go even after graduating! They have alumni group every Wednesday and my kid looks forward to going each week. I came here after a failed surgery trying to get off of opiates they left me for 30 hours without any medical support or medication they claim to offer detoxification but they only offer it Monday through Friday because weekends there are no available doctors or nurse practitioners And may I say not even doctors there's only nurse practitioners that you can call and talk to they claimed to offer a detoxification, but they don't,NO DOCTOR ONLY NURSE PRACTITIONERS . They told me a doctor would be available Monday through Friday. Only a nurse practitioner WAS AVAILABLE TO CALLcould be called over the weekend. They promised a 24 hour nurse doctor. None of that was true. They promised 24 hour chef. None of that was true. The chef provides no breakfast. He only provides lunch and he leaves a dinner for us to warm up for later. I'm not complaining about the chef. He is a very nice man and Karen one of the therapist. There is a wonderful lady. She really does care about patients. The conditions were unacceptable at this treatment center there were blood stains on all the sheets there were stains throughout everywhere. The bathrooms were dirty. Everything was dirty. They only have someone come in deep clean every two months.. I was forced to Detox in a shared room with a roommate who kept the TV blasting until midnight watching crime murders horrific TV shows that only added to my PTSD and in no way would she turn it down on a high volume because of her hearing I have never been to a treatment center where they placed you in withdrawal with another person in your room without proper medical care supervision or even a therapist even the Uber driver who picked me up said I was the third person that was leaving early because of how bad this place is that says everything the center should not even be allowed to operate What they are doing feels both unsafe and unlawful vulnerable people deserve real help not false promises and neglect there are plenty of other places that provide proper treatment and care please for your own safety look elsewhere. I rarely write reviews. This may be my fourth review ever and I'm 45 years old, but I feel strongly care about people trying to overcome addiction.i truly believe in karma I truly hope this message reaches anyone who is struggling and searching for the right help. the last 30 hours that I was there was a complete horror that I will never forget and I wish upon no one that this happens please there are so many other treatment centers that don't offer false promises and lies.
