Best auto service experience ever! Sam, Ryan and Deana were fantastic! They fixed problems that another dealer couldn't find! Awesome small town dealer feel! I usually hate going to the dealer for anything, but they made me feel at ease and I actually enjoyed it! And Ryan's ear for hearing noises was amazing! Thank you! read more

I called trying to get a part number for a door seal and was told they are not allowed to give out part numbers. Really!? If I go to the official Ford website for parts I can get any part number I want however, having Simi Valley Ford provide a part number is prohibited! I called another Ford dealership and they were more than willing to give me the part number that I needed. This is not the first time I have had an issue with this dealership but it will be the last. What a joke! read more

Thank you so much to Simi Valley Ford for helping me get into my new Explorer XLT! I tried working with many other Ford dealerships but nobody else had the knowledge or the work ethic to get me what I needed. Simi Valley Ford gave me the answers I needed, were quick and efficient, and didn't waste my time with any car dealership mumbo jumbo. Thank you! read more

Horrible experience with the service department at Simi Valley Ford. Never before have I felt so taken advantage of. Please beware, take your car somewhere else. I have heard horror stories about this locations service department before but did not listen because it was local, and I hadn't had any issues. Well that is until the warranty and maintenance plan expired. Now every single time I go in there they seem to have this crazy list of things that need to be fixed on my car. They have made mistakes they are not willing to take responsibility for, and they treat you horribly. What ever happened to good customer service? I was a fool for not listening. I will never be back there again. read more

Definitely avoid the dealer for service. I just had my truck in for a fuel pump. SV Ford quoted me $1369. I called 2 local independent shops and ended up getting the job completed for $570! I was shocked that SV Ford charges 240% more than other shops. If that's not insulting enough, the service advisors are not courteous and the service manager is down right rude. read more

I just purchased my 3rd car from Simi Valley Ford. Eric Rhoads could answer all my questions about the different cars I was looking at and was great to work with. No high pressure sales tactics. He let me take my time and look at my leisure. The whole process was enjoyable and I am very excited about my new car. A big thank you to Larry Hibbler and Eric Rhoads. I also have had all my service done at Simi Valley Ford since I bought my 1st car there in 2008. They have always done a wonderful job and I will be taking my new car there for service. read more

This was one of my best experience in buying a car. Let me go back a little , yesterday I went to Galpin ford. I was about to forget buying a car. Galpin made me feel like I was screwed. Unless I leased a car. I went to Simi Valley Ford. The owner ( later to find Out) was out front directing me where to park. From then on it was greetings to can I get u something to drink. Great people. It came down to the buying my new car. I got exactly what I did not get from Galpin, a car., what I wanted to pay. This is the go to place. Thanks Simi Valley Ford read more

This review may take a bit to read but it is worth it before you consider taking your car or truck in to their service dept. I have a 2002 Ford F-150 Harley Davidson edition truck that was running a little rough. Even though a little over 6 years ago the truck had a factory long block installed they didn't replace any of the plugs or coil packs. I spoke to service rep at Simi Valley Ford and he said what I was explaining sounded like it had a bad plug or coil pack. Now keep in mind the truck ran and drove it just seemed to misfire occasionally. I decided to have them replace all 8 plugs and coil packs at a cost of $1,400. The truck was ready for pick up the next day so my wife went down to grab it. The truck was out front when I got home from work so I asked her how it was running?. She noted that it seemed to be running a little rough but that she couldn't really tell. I went out to start it up only to find that it barely wanted to idle and the check engine light was on. I couldn't call the service dept until the next day as they were already closed. When I did get a hold of my service advisor I asked him if there was a possibility that they installed a bad coil pack or that maybe one came loose? He then asked if I had a chance to read the back of the paperwork that he gave my wife when she picked up the truck? (I hadn't) He then went on to tell me that while the service tech was installing the plugs and coil packs that they found that the #4 cylinder was dead and the truck needs a new motor. I asked how this could even be possible? The truck was driveable when it went in, they installed $1,400 in new parts and now it's completely un driveable and it now needs a motor? I then decided to ask the most obvious question of all,,,, why did I just spend that much money on a truck they new required a new motor? His reply was that I had asked for the work to be done. The rest of this story is just too long to put down here but hopefully you get the idea of what and who you will be dealing with if you go to Simi Valley Ford. read more

Worst ford dealership I've ever been to. Had to take my 2011 f150 back to have the same thing fixed 7 times and was never fixed. I was told there was nothing wrong with my truck. After paying them $500 for a tune up and paying $100 deductible each time they said they found what was wrong with it. They finally wore me dwn and sales men started calling me about getting a new truck. So I did a stupid thing and bought another truck from them 2015 f150. These guys took me to the cleaners on the deal. They screwed me on the trade in. Then charge me so much by adding things to the cost of the truck I had a hard time getting it financed. I had ordered a bed liner and tonneall cover that I was over charged for. They put bed liner in the day I bought the truck. But said tonneall cover had to be painted and would be ready in a week. Well three weeks later I had to take truck back because engine light came on. So I started asking about the tonneall cover had not even been ordered yet. So I told them I did not want it now and want to cancel the gap insurance and my extended warranty also because I was being over charge for it. Then they told me I had to pay $500 to have my truck repaired because I cancel my extended warranty that day. So I had to reinstate the warranty then I was told I had to wait a week for the warranty to take effect. Never took it back. It's been 3 months and still waiting for my refund for tonneall cover and gap insurance. Been calling but nobody seems to no what's going on with it. So they just don't return my calls. I WILL NEVER EVER STEP FOOT IN THIS DEALERSHIP AGAIN..!!! I was driving my Ford F-450 dully when it stalled and wouldn't start. I called my Ford roadside assistance that was very helpful. They actually called the dealership to advise them my truck was coming in on a hook.. They called me back and told me the dealership was expecting my truck and would be able to look at it first thing in the morning..! Well, the truck got to the dealership about an hour later (6:15pm). I was greeted by an older service advisor and was rudely told they don't accept tow ins after 6:00pm... I replied it's here now, what driveway do you want this truck to block then..? (Not gonna lie, I was a little sarcastic) he turned his attention to the tow truck driver and eventually told him where to drop the truck at. I was met by a young advisor who told me he was the one that had talked to Ford about my truck, "Perfect", I replied. After the truck was written up, and the tow truck was gone, the Service Advisor told me it would be about 2-3 weeks before they could look at my truck..!!!! WTF...!!! needless to say I was stuck, I waited a day then had my truck towed to DCH ford of Thousand Oaks.. I've worked at a FORD dealer for 9 years as a service advisor..! I know the games that can be played and the ploys to gain customers by over promising and under delivering.. One thing that would PISS my Service manager off more than anything, was seeing a tow truck pull into his service area and remove a vehicle without getting repaired.... maybe cuz he felt customer service was more important.?? The Manager in this service area wouldn't even give me the time of day. She sat in her office, watched the tow truck hook up my truck and leave... My brother, actually attempted to contact the manager personally to advise her that she also had lost both of his Fords and he would not be returning to her service drive again.. Apparently the owner, general manager and service manager make to much money and don't really need any more business.. Unprofessional, and rude..!!! I miss my Fairway Ford In Placentia, CA read more

I had a great experience buying a used car with Simi Valley Ford. Ask for the salesperson John Chapel to help you. He's very honest and not overbearing at all. Their service rep Carmen was highly rude over the phone and they overbooked themselves with appointments so instead of getting my car back same day it will be sitting over night with no answer as to when we can pick our car up. We brought our car in to fix the Navigation for a second time and since there previous update to SYNC only made it worse. The car is only a year old and should be coming back multiple times for repairs. When I questioned if this was the last time it would need to come in to fix the problem the service manager's response was "Do you want us to fix your car or not!" and then they hung up. I've never experienced this level treatment anywhere else and I will never bring my car here again. They make it sound like they are the only option for people who live in the area. read more

Had my truck in for a repair in which the mechanics did a great job. However, it's the service writer ( Mark ) and the service manager that you can't trust! These two are absolutely full of it! I went to Simi Valley Ford to purchase a used truck ended up purchasing a new truck for less money than buying a used truck that was 4 yrs. older than a new one. Very pleased with the sales dept & service received from the staff there. I drove from Sherman Oaks to Simi Valley to buy even though there were 4 other Ford dealers within 12 miles of my home to purchase a vehicle because of the honesty and integrity and finally the best pricing at Simi Valley Ford. I definitely recommend them strongly to do business there. Also while there, I met the owner & what a real pleasure to do business with this gentleman. It was certainly worth the drive, read more

It's disappointing to know that the "bait and switch" tactic is still used here. We looked at a 2013 Ford Edge here and decided to go home and think about it 3 days later I received a follow up call stating if I had any questions about the car I originally looked at and that if I wanted to come in and look at it again just to call and let them know. I called that same day and let them know I would be in. After driving all the way to Simi Valley in hopes of closing a deal we waited for 30 min only to be told, sorry the vehicle was sold 2 days ago can I interest you in any of our other vehicles. Please keep in mind that the other vehicles are at least 5,000 to 7,000 more. It has been one whole week since we initially looked at the "sold" vehicle and as off today it is still listed on their website as available. My father in law even called Simi Valley ford to make sure it was in fact available and a different salesman reassured him it was. Their sales tactics are not very honest and I that's why regardless if the car was there or not I would hate to deal with dishonest people. BEWARE! read more

To whom it may concern, i recently purchased a 2016 Ford F -250 super duty lariat brand new from Simi Valley ford. The truck is awesome. I've had it for 7 months now, 1 1/2 months ago my sync went out and my problems began. In & out of the shop 6 times now so i'am a little bent over this. The last time it went in was Dec 26 2016 it was scheduled to have the Sync fixed again and I had an appointment for 8:00am, I dropped the truck off at 11:00 am, at 5:00 pm I went to see the status of my truck and little to my surprise my truck had not been touched yet because the gentleman who was going to fix it was scheduled to be off Monday so I than spoke to a relations adviser by the name of Issac who was great with no doubt. He then proceeded to talk to the service manager named Dena and I over herd their conversation and stepped in and as I talked to Dena my tone went up a notch because this was the fifth time being their and she as a service manager could not help me the last 4 times. Dena looks at Issac and tells him to take me to somebody else to talk to because she didn't like my tone,,,,wow i'am an HVAC Engineer and deal with the public every day and would never treat any of my customers this way, in fact I would sit them down and make whatever is wrong, right because my customers come first and without them I don't make a living. Now I proceeded to go to the owner explained what has happened, and he assured me my truck would be done today. I finally got my truck back about 7:30 to 7:45 on the 26 of December. I was notified that while working on my truck, my door swung open hit something and put a dent under my drivers side door handle. By this time I was pretty mad so Wednesday they called me and Thursday the 29 once again I dropped my truck off again to have it fixed. I didn't ever expect to be treated the way I was by the service manager Dena. She does not have the right temperament or attitude for this position and in my opinion she she be put in a different position. As a person who deals with the public on a daily basis, I would never let one of my customers walk away feeling like she made me feel. I guess I will take my truck to vista ford in Oxnard from now on because they pride in customer service. Sincerely, not a happy customer. M ONESTO read more

As per previous reviews, don't go near the service dept. I had a misfire in the ecoboost engine of my 2011 f150. I took it to them for diagnosis. 2 hours later they tell me 1 of my spark plugs went bad. It would be $110 for the diagnosis, and then the boom was officially lowered. They wanted $369 for a 6 cyl. tuneup!! If my back wasn't bad I would have done it myself. They took all friggin day to change 6 spark plugs. They charged $92 for 6 plugs which you can buy for a lot less at an auto parts store. So that leaves $259 for labor. I later looked at youtube and saw just how simple it was to change the plugs(the ave. joe could do it in less than an hour) So at about $100 an hour for labor, these guys charged for about 2 1/2 hours of work. This means they either rip people off, or have the most incompetent service people, or both. They ought to try charging people for the actual time it takes to do the job, instead of using some antiquated method of using a shop book to estimate the time it would take. Of course, as was stated in previous reviews, they tried to tell me I needed a "throttle body cleaning." and my battery was going bad. The upsell tactics at this place are abhorrent. I've been working on cars since I was a lot younger, and these guys just throw crap out there and hope you believe it. Please avoid this place at all costs. read more

We traveled 5 hours for a used car for our son. We found exactly what we wanted but the only thing that kept up from going was the 5 hr drive. I have to say I dislike dealerships a lot but Eric Rhoads made it so much easier. Eric described the car to us and said the car was in great condition inside and out, but I was very leery because I have had other salesman tell me the same thing, to show up and be disappointed. Eric was very reassuring that the car was as he said it was, so we took a chance and believed him. We showed up and yep, the car was just as Eric described it as....it was in amazing condition. We got there, test drove the car and started the paper work. It was a smooth and easy process. The amount we paid was the amount agreed upon before we even decided to drive the 5 hrs. I even appreciate Henry Ford who is Eric's boss. He was also great! We were already pre approved by our credit union but Henry found us a better interest rate himself. He didn't have to extend himself but he did. I have to say the process was painless and the drive was well worth it in the end because of both Eric Rhoads and Henry Ford, and I should mention, keeping their word. Thank you so much! I Highly recommend these 2. read more

I'm not typically one to write a review however after today's first class experience as well as a couple poor reviews I read on Google I felt I had a responsibility to write a raving review AND especially after what I went through yesterday at a private mechanics shop down the street. So I'll start by mentioning Carmen in their service dept. and the fantastic service I received from her. I called yesterday in a bit of a panic after receiving an estimate for $900 from another auto shop. Without going into too much detail I'll only mention one thing, ROTER'S...I was told my roter's HAD to be replaced, were not up to specs when I know for a fact this was not the case! There's more but not worth getting into. I called Ford, talked to Carmen and then pulled my car out of the other shop to bring to Ford this morning. GOOD CALL coming to Ford and the reason I did was because of my initial conversation with Carmen yesterday. She listened, was courteous, helpful, provided options, explained auto stuff that I know nothing about, honestly, it's a foreign language to me and I probably have sucker written all over my forehead. Needless to say, and this is the best part, my roter's were FINE! I'm sure you all knew that was coming. There's more but the other stuff is too technical for me to explain, bottom line is I almost got ripped off big time at the other place. My experience at Ford was so great, starting with Carmen who I felt held my hand through this process and could have easily gotten frustrated with me but instead was patient and understanding to my situation through to the mechanics that worked on my car who were honest, thorough and trustworthy. I walked out of there for $300 and with a COMPLIMENTARY car wash, (seriously!) and let me tell you my poor truck was filthy. Additionally, I was provided with a multi point inspection report where the mechanics note things and make recommendations so that now I have a clear picture of what I need to do moving forward to keep my truck running in good condition. THANK YOU Carmen and mechanics and frankly everyone at this dealership who all had smiles on their faces. OMG wait, speaking of smiles, I have to mention Ray and Javier, the two gentlemen that provided transportation, they too were extremely pleasant and enjoyable to talk to during the rides back. :-) read more

So here is another review to show how bad the service dept. is. 4 months ago I purchased a used motor and had the dealership install it. 4,000 dollars later I am driving my truck and the engine light comes on for a day or so then goes out. Today I go to the service dept. and I am told it will be hours before they can look at it. I didn't think it took that long to plug in hand held device and read code. Went to Aamco where they told me in 5 mins. that it was my knock sensor. I looked up where it was located and saw mine just hanging down. It was never bolted in. I know because I took out the bolt and it wasn't long enough to go through the sensor. I called and left a message with DENA. She called back an hour later and said "well we don't know who worked on it after you were here" and I told her what was wrong, that it was not bolted in properly in the first place. I was told to bring it in, drop it off for the day so they could look at it. No, I want to bring it in and you fix then and there. Can't do that, we're to busy for that. I said I'll bring it else where. Click, she hung up on me. I would put minus stars if they had them! read more

We have been Ford owners for the past 25 years and are long time customers of Simi Valley Ford. We were very disappointed with our recent experience when we took our Escape there for an oil leak. Our car was at the dealership for NINE days. When it was finally repaired and we viewed our invoice, we saw that the actual time spent working on the car was only about 6 hours. This all occurred after waiting TWO weeks for an appointment. This was a ridiculous amount of time to be without our vehicle and we are so upset that our repair was not a priority. We will probably never buy another Ford product. Actually, we are planning to purchase a truck later this year and it will NOT be a Ford! A request from Larry H. requesting us to call the Service Department seems like a waste of time since they are the ones we dealt with in the first place. No satisfaction the first time around. Why would it be any different now? They should be the ones contacting me. Especially since I put in a complaint to Ford Motor, bypassing Simi Valley Ford. Too bad they weren't more responsive in the first place. Don't waste your time with Simi valley Ford. Buy Chevy or Dodge. read more

Worst experience ever. After I gave them my service order they fixed the wrong item. When I picked up my car because they ordered parts I mentioned they took apart the wrong seat. The services guy, said no worries when we get the parts in we will take a look at the other seat (the seat I originally brought the car in for). When I went back after they received the parts to fix the wrong seat he called me later that day and advised me my warranty company had to come out an review the claim to fix the other seat...I was carless for 6 days during the parts being ordered an the warranty company coming out to review the 2nd claim. All because Simi Ford made it look suspicious putting another claim in for the same thing a week later. They charged me two deductibles thru my exstended warranty. When I questioned it when checking out the service manger said well I took a look at everything an they were both broke so it will be two separate claims two separate deductibles. When I left a message for the owner Larry, no returned phone call...I will drive to T.O. or San Fernando Valley before ever going back or referring a friend or co worker.. read more

I purchased my Ford duly truck from this dealership, I have had nothing but ongoing problems with this truck and the customer service is beyond poor. this dealership has cost me thousands of dollars to my business due to the lack of a truck that functions properly and the ability to fix it in such a way so that it doesn't not have to keep coming back for fixing. Sam The lady at the Ford service department told me oh your truck just likes us. This is not exactly something that somebody wants to hear after having the truck put into service over 15 times for repairs.I told Sam that my differential gasket was leaking, very visible to the eye to see oil is leaking out of. I told her that the valve cover gasket that they removed to fix the head gasket was leaking also very obvious to determine to the naked eye. I I also told Sam that there is brake fluid pouring out of my brake caliper and that it needed to be fixed not only is it a hazard to myself but to others around me when driving. I had taken my truck in several months ago and told them that there was something that was loose in the front end and was damaging the tire that I just bought and put on the truck, and also the bushings to my front end. They stated that they could not do anything because They could not re-create the problem. I must say this place has the worst customer service that I have ever experienced out of any dealership that I've ever done business with. I forewarn anyone that is to purchase a vehicle from this company or have any service done to your vehicle. There was a gentleman named Joe that was working there sometime ago, whenever I needed a rental car for replacement for this truck that simi Valley Ford sold to me. He would very kindly let enterprise rental car know that I needed a truck because of all the issues that this truck had been giving me. He would simply let the enterprise rental car people now and they would say sure no problem we can get them into a Ford truck. After several trips to and from this dealership, I had made the realization you need to go somewhere else To have your truck fixed. It just absolutely perplexes me for what reason these people wouldn't do anything to try and accommodate my needs due to The frustrating situation this dealership has put me through. I had simply stated to Sam the service rep to please request as Joe has in the past for a truck for myself, she stated well we need a technician to make sure that these are items covered under my bumper to bumper warranty. As I stated in the above some of the items that were needing fixing were very clearly part of my bumper to bumper warranty and could see that they were visibly leaking. seems to me that this dealership goes out of its way to try and frustrate the customers that have purchased poorly assembled vehicles so that they can result go somewhere else. I must say I have family in the entertainment business, And our worldly known for their work. I have been very patient with this dealership, and I have given them every opportunity to change my mind on how I feel in regards to the situation. Instead they have done nothing but make the situation worse and instigate my frustration. to everyone out there do yourselves a favor and find another dealership to do business with these people only care about one thing and one thing only that's their pocketbook and they definitely do not have any compassion or consideration for the frustrating situations that us as consumers go through when there is issues with our vehicles. It absolutely makes no sense to me the point of purchasing a bumper to bumper warranty when they do everything humanly possible to avoid taking responsibility for a poorly crafted vehicle. I simply just needed a truck from the rental car company and considering my situation you think that she could've kindly requested as Joe had in the past to get me one. Don't fully yourselves they have the ability to make those requests , If they feel they want to. It's apparent that Sam gets joy out of frustrating clients that are in my situation instead of trying to subdue the situation and make things feel better. I have now decided to go ahead and drive my truck to Galpin Ford in Woodland Hills to have it fixed. It's very sad that we cannot go to the dealership that is less than a block away from my house due to the lack of competency and customer service. These people absolutely blow my mind and would never recommend them to anyone for service or purchase. read more

Well to start their sales staff lies... a lot! Told me that they would not be accepting any new orders for trucks unless I did it in the next 3 days. Sooo, like a dumby i ordered a truck. After 12,000 miles the engine started to tick. I took it in for service. The Service adviser told me it was 3 lifters and needed to be replaced. Under warranty of course. Then 3 hours later he called back to tell me they found 10 lifters bad. And wouldn't you know it 2 more hours they called back and said 27 out of 30 lifters are bad. Seriously bad diagnosis! They wouldn't change the last 3 while in there. Then I receive my truck, drive 10 miles home, park in my driveway and 20 minutes later oil spots under my new truck. I open the hood to find oil everywhere! I drive back to the dealer (Simi Valley) and tell the service adviser that I am extremely unhappy. They gave me an attitude and apologized. Weird combo. After being nice and letting them fix it again. I took it home. Fast forward to my wife's vehicle, I took in for service, NOT SURE WHY, time I guess. They over charged me and were rude. I left and said I would never bring a car in for service again. Fast forward again and I went in to trade a used vehicle for another and received the absolute worst service and communication from the sales staff and the managers. S T A Y A W A Y !!!!! One year ago I bought a car and all the bells and whistles. Bought the highest warranty they offered. In that time, I brought the car in for regular service and for recall service. EVERY TIME I VISITED THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT WERE LIKE DEER IN THE HEADLIGHTS. They obviously have a BIG COMMUNICATION PROBLEM between the technicians and the service reps and the management. Service managers say the service will take a few hours and then fail to contact me. So I contact them and am told that the car has not been touched all day long. The common answer has been "We are overwhelmed with services to perform". So then, why didn't they say so to start with? Give me an appointment instead of making me late for work, etc. This is my 6th time there and I am ready to forfeit my contracts. I have serious anxiety over this place. On my last visit for a recall problem, I was told it would be ready in the afternoon. I called them as usual and the mechanic lead tells me there is a weeks worth of cars with the same recall parked outside waiting to be hooked up to the computer and that he has no clue when my car will be examined. REALLY? This is just unacceptable service. After I made the service manager aware of this, I was told the car would be worked on immediately. I called back 2 hours later and was told to check back tomorrow. I waited 2 more days and as far as I'm concerned, they robbed me of my weekend and all plans I had made including reservations paid for in advance. All because NOBODY KNOWS WHAT THE HECK THEY ARE DOING AT SIMI VALLEY FORD DEALERSHIP. When I asked for details of the work done on my last service, they handed me a long printed document that had no codes for services performed and no verbiage showing what was performed. I had to ask twice for someone to show what was done. Finally, the lead mechanic took a pen and scribbled that they had changed out a "learning module" for the transmission. I WAITED DAYS FOR THAT? Then they explained that the transmission recall extended my warranty and there was no fix for the problem. That dual transmissions were "known for having a rough ride and you should expect leaping forward and shuttering while the computer decides what gear to put the car into." WHAT? THAT'S A LOAD OF GARBAGE. When I asked him to add that to the receipt, he refused. I am at the end of my rope with these people. read more

Once again Simi Valley Ford detours me from ever wanting to use their services! This time It was an Issue with a defective tire. I had an obvious defective tire that the tread started pealing off the tire, and when I asked if they would replace my tire that has a 70,000 mile warranty on it, or at least pro rate the tire for me since it only had 37,000 miles of use on it.... I was told no! I was told that they only warranty tires for 36,000 miles and that I was out of luck! That didn't make any sense to me that a tire comes from the manufacturer with a 70,000 mile warranty and half way through the mileage there wasn't anything Ford could do except make me purchase another tire! Sadly this particular tire was on a vehicle that I purchased new from Ford! So I called AMERICA'S TIRE across the street from Simi Valley Ford... and they told me that they would gladly pro rate the Michelin tire for me! That phone call alone saved me $75 on the tire! Now the obvious question is why wasn't Simi Valley Ford able to do that for me? .... especially after I have spent over $250,000 on vehicles with Ford in the Last 8 years? Simply the answer is that Simi Valley Ford has terrible customer service, and clearly just doesn't care about their customers! This Isn't the first time that I have have had issues with this Simi dealership, but it will be the last! I decided to go back to using GALPIN FORD again even though it's a half hour away from my house...the quality and customer service at GALPIN FORD is light years ahead of where I believe Simi Valley Ford will ever be! simi valley ford is consistently the worst service imaginable. called for an appointment on a wensday, saying I don't want to wait all day for this minor recall part. the service department asked if I could bring it in on Friday at 7:20 am. yes I can. dropped it off at 7:15am. 2 cars ahead of me had 7:00 appointments. at 1:36 pm was called to say they need a few more hours. wait? what? have you even started looking at my car yet. the answer is we are gonna get to it next. what is the point of making an appointment if they pay np attention to it. At 2:50 pm was called and told I am sending the driver to pick you up right now. it's an 8 minute drive. 35 mins later the driver shows up saying he went somewhere else first. he doesn't know why they said he would pick me up right away. got to dealership and service doesn't know why he didn't come get me right away after being told to. ask to talk to the manager, a deeann says a lot of I don't know why it took so long. maybe there was unexpected problems with the cars in front of you. you're the manager and you don't know? seeing my frustration she added, "well if you go see a doctor, you don't always get seen right away" As of this writing, I would never do business with Simi Valley Ford again. read more
