Determined to rid myself of the blue menace, I walked into the Ace Hardware store on Main Street and asked the friendly clerk behind the desk if they had a lint roller. The clerk told me exactly where to find it. With the roller in hand , I thanked the clerk and was on my way. Ace is the place with the friendly hardware folks! If I lived in Ouray, I would probably be in that store at least once a week because of how organized it was and how friendly the clerk was.

I politely asked him not to, and he laughed. When I returned the trailer, I was unhooking the safety chains at the designated return area. Steve came out onto the balcony, started yelling at me, called me a "f***** Cu**," and threatened to charge me additional fees. I've worked with countless businesses while traveling full-time across the country, and I've never been spoken to like that by a customer-facing employee. Equipment was fine. So I go in main door and back into garden center dragging the flat heavy cart. I get about 10 bags on the cart, about 300 pounds or so and have to drag it all the way to the opposite side of the store to pay for it. Maybe when you go you'll get lucky and the garden center register and gate will be open and an employee will offer to help. I probably will shop elsewhere next time.

There was a reward for a percentage off on my app. Great, went to check out and I can't use it because I was told by cashiers Ace won't make money on the item. Not sure if that's really true, I don't know but if I have a reward, it's because it's earned for frequent shopping in the store, but any reward you get you can't use them on sale items. That's dumb, seems like many things are on "sale", yet the prices are still high! I wish we had a Lowe's/Home Depot in Pagosa Springs.
