The office may have upgraded into a better facility but down graded in staff. Any Optometry doctor can get you a prescription, do not settle for entitled unprofessional and poor customer service. When I got home, I pulled the previous 2 exams and the prescription looked wildly off so I scanned the three prescriptions and emailed them, asking to have the doctor review them since I did not want to order lenses that may not be correct. A week went by and no reply.... The previous prescription the doctor wrote but the staff couldn't give it to me when I was leaving because the doctor had left for the day - the prescription has an electronic signature so I don't get that at all! I just don't get the incompetence of this office and their staff. This is the second bad experience but there won't be a third.

Isiack is very personable and friendly. I look forward to seeing him at each appointment. Dr. Sprouse is the star. It helps to have confidence in the person who is looking out for your eye health, which I do. This last year has been a little strange with the changes to my eyesight with cataracts, but with guidance and new eyewear, it seems to be clearer and brighter. Next step is cataract surgery! Since the move, the communication has been horrible: No one answers the phone, nor do they return voice messages. The worst part is that no one actually seems to care. The lobby is super open with very high ceilings, and feels especially pleasant for a medical waiting room. Once I checked in my wait was minimal at less than ten minutes and I hadn't even finished my new patient paperwork! My eye doctor was fine, if not overly friendly, but his assistant was about the sweetest most charming gal ever. She even made sure I got any smudges of mascara off my face as all those eye drops and contact removal can be a messy business! I only paid a $10 copay, though of course this will vary by insurance or if you are paying out of pocket. I appreciated that they did not push me to order contacts or glasses with them, almost to a fault. They just gave me the prescription and sent me on my way, never even mentioning it (though they do sell both in-house). I was able to find an online source for much less than I paid at my previous eye doctor.

I have been to Central Vision Clinic several times. They always do a very thorough examination…read moreand, because my family has a history of glaucoma, they are particularly attentive to that. Also, I needed two prescriptions, one for when I was reading something I was holding, and one when I was using computers at work that have the screens placed unusually far from the seat, and they calculated the different prescriptions I would need for each. I also bought my glasses there, and they were super helpful and they handled all the insurance paperwork to get the glasses to me at no out of pocket cost. I highly recommend them!
