Went here for some baked goods and came to learn that this place has 20 different teas! The tea selection is here and has wonderful variety of desserts. I tried two different cookies and several things to take home to share with my family. We found the lemon ricotta cheese cake and tiramisu cake was the best. The bakeshop had a nice interior and overall very accessible. The person who helped with service was very nice and had a wonderful conversation about the teas in the shop. Stopped by post-lunch on our way back from the falls. Such a cute coffee and pastry shop with a lot of variety. I'm more of a tea girl and was super fascinated by the tea options and how detailed each selection is fruity, floral, spicy, you name it. I also like that you can mix syrups. The staff were the sweetest and will absolutely give you great recommendations. The drink was refreshing, and there's a nice sit-down area to chill before heading back out to the street. The cookies and pastries looked great too, but we were way too full to try anything. For sure will stop by again if we're in town. read more

Cozy bake shop located in the heart of downtown Silverton. They had a great selection of baked goods and an extensive coffee bar. The decor gave me farmhouse vibes and they had a variety of seating options, including outdoor seating. We were promptly greeted, and all of our questions were answered and suggestions were made so that we could choose a delicious snack after hiking the Trail of Ten Waterfalls. My friend had a chocolate dome and I had a s'mores cookie and an iced mocha. Everything was delicious. read more

Stopped here to warm up on the way to hike some waterfalls in the cold. Glad we came in because I absolutely loved it! Service was a tad slow, but everything we ordered was worth 5 stars. I got a sweet potato bar and it was perfection. I should have ordered more to take home. It wasn't too sweet, had a flaky buttery crust and mousse filling. There was a little cream or something on top. WOW. I still crave that bar. Surprisingly, their tea bar was high quality!!! They offer loose leaf tea and they put it in a tea pot before serving it to you in a cup. Their green was something with tropical or fruity flavors so I went with an oolong and it was flavorful and strong. Warmed me up for the outdoor activities! Ah yes, a real bakery in Silverton! Just three years old, Silverton Bake Shop is the place to go for pastries and coffee with a full espresso menu and a case of yummy-for-your-tummy treats. I stopped in to take a break from running errands and got a ham and cheese croissant and an americano - the perfect compliment for my short break. The croissant was flaky and fresh, filled with ham and cheese, and the americano was piping hot, made with a perfectly pulled double shot. Cute shop that also serves coffee/espresso drinks. Out back is picnic table seating that is covered and also chairs next to a fire pit. Great place to grab some dessert and hang out with friends. Some desserts were enjoyed more than others but that is just a matter of personal taste. Highly recommend the chocolate chip with sea salt cookie and the breakfast cookie which had oatmeal, chia and other seeds The chocolate fruit tart was tasty and I would get that again Blood orange cupcake was good, but to me only the frosting was flavored the cupcake just tasted like a plain cupcake. I was so looking forward to some delicious treats. However, I found the 3 different cookies lacking in flavor. The shortbread didn't taste like there was any butter. The breakfast cookie was described as peanut butter and nuts, but neither were apparent. The chocolate chip looking was just so, so. The owner is so sweet and you feel the love of her bakery. I was sad they didn't have their hummingbird cake. I have no problem going back and we definitely will be back! My main criticism is that they open late for a bakery. There have been many times I've dropped a kid off at school and wanted to stop here, but it was closed. Their prices are steep, but everything I've tasted at this bakery has been really good. Their location is nice, inviting, has good light and a nice coffee shop included. It is worth a try if you are in the area. I like their savory stuff. read more

We stopped at Silverton Bake Shop on our way to Bend last month and can't wait to go back! The gluten free coffee cake is HANDS DOWN the best I have ever had!! I *finally* stopped here yesterday when I was wandering around town, and I'm really glad I did, because...I found it. The unicorn. The holy grail. The almost impossible. The perfect bakery cupcake. Yes, cupcakes. I've given up on bakery ones because they're invariably: dry, had too much thick overly sweet frosting, tasteless, and did I mention dry? But, there they were, and I figured I'd try one, because hope springs eternal and all that. And, omg. This cupcake. Just the plain vanilla with buttercream, but omg. The cupcake itself had the perfect soft texture, the frosting was almost whipped-cream-like, ie not so stiff that it could come off in one chunk. And best of all, neither was sickly sweet. I have a sweet tooth and most cupcakes are too sweet for even me - this one was perfection. The only great cupcake I've had iin years, since the vegan chocolate cupcakes from a (sadly) now defunct bakery in Chicago (I'm not vegan, but those were incredible). I tried a couple of other things and those were good too, but...the cupcakes. The people who work there were lovely as well. Very genuine, friendly, were happy to make my coffee that's considered weird in the PNW (a cafe au lait), and overall had me leaving feeling cheerful rather than my usual surly self. Fabulous bakery with excellent coffee, beautiful clean location and small but high quality gift section. The baked goods are amazingly moist and delicious, without being too sweet. The soft serve and dole whip with bubble cone was pretty phenomenal as well. The coffee is where I am super picky and it was excellent. Easily the best in Silverton. Keep it up! read more

1st of all, 8$ for a small brownie and a small (what they called hummingbird) cake,.. ok. The brownie was dry and abit hard....certainly not what yor mom might have made from a box and was gooey and yummy. The cake ne3dedto be warmed and butter slathered on it.....very very dense. I really wanted to like this place, but sadly I was disappointed. This business is a pastry shop, not a bakery really. They do not have breads, rolls, or sandwiches. Just serving pastries and coffees. I did not try the coffee. I ordered a cinnamon roll and a brownie. Both were big portions and they packaged them up nicely for me to take out. Although the flavor is good, the cinnamon roll was so dense you had to cut it with a knife. The frosting was very good, but way too much. The brownie had a strange taste. Can't really explain that. If you like heavy dense pastries you might like this place. read more
