First time here. We were in the area for lunch and saw this place on our way here so we decided to spot by. Decent amount of vendors both indoors and outdoors. Lots of vintage clothing and jewlery and thats about it. There was a food vendor here and there but must of them sold clothing. My wife enjoyed this spot though.

This was worthwhile but find parking NOT in the 1 hour! (Got a ticket) -and I know someone who got back to their car at 2hr spot and cop kept writing the ticket in 2hour zone. Went on Friday which is more chill and personally I like that, but apparently not as many vendors. Low key and not to stressful. It did get busy & was hot! Concrete jungle! There was enough of a variety from after having visited so many stores including one where you pay for an appointment. This was better and people who are willing to negotiate. Some stuff is just silly priced but some great vendors here. Will totally return. Shirts were clean at most places which I appreciate and nicely curated in some situations. Prices could be okay as some jewelry seemed repetitive-you could just go to the other vendor for $5 less type stuff but seem like a mass market stuff from another country. Would rather the interesting old/used/new real stuff. Maybe harder to find in LA now w/ population growth.

Hipsters, influencers or homeless people. Who's who? lol jk jk I've been here before. I also frequent other flea markets, swapmeets, thrift stores. Anyway, a lot of cool finds. I usually go for retro/throwback/vintage toys, hats, memorabilia and rare finds. Plus: free parking, variety, rare items and good deals. Cons: overpriced items, ig kids. I always have a good time. I take my time and dig through bins and bargain if I can. I just really dislike what instagram and tik tok did to this scene. They blow it up and the price goes up because of hype. A bunch of cool people, vibes, music, weirdos (like me), a bit of everything. Good way to pass time. I just uploaded photos for y'all to get a glimpse of what it's like. I definitely suggest you check it out. Never mind my sarcasm lol

Things are pricey (around $75+). They are vintage. Depending on what you're looking for. I was able to grab some scarfs/bandanas for $5 each. And the vendor gave me a free cute tote bag to go along with it. Vendors accept either venmo or cash. They also offer free water bottles when you walk in. A nice place to walk around and browse on a Sunday, although it does get crowded! Parking- parking was relatively easy. Someone was leaving just as we arrived. There are quite a bit of parking stalls on the street. They are free.

Raggedy Threads is my favorite vintage store in L.A. - no contest. Don't let this tiny little store…read more- located in a tiny little corner of Little Tokyo - fool you: It's like a treasure trove of rare finds. I've been on a huge vintage kick lately, so this store has been my go-to source for old tees. My reasons for going vintage are primarily environmental since the carbon footprint and resources needed to make new clothes are substantial - and incredibly wasteful when there's so much awesome used clothing out there. Another reason: Your friends can't copy your style. Most recently, I picked up a few tees from the 1970s and 80s. Being in L.A. they get a lot of local and California vintage shirts with logos, designs, and jokes that only true Californians would get. I couldn't resist buying a Castroville "Giant Artichoke" tee they had over the summer. Personally, I tend to gravitate towards regional finds like these because they bring back such great memories of my youth and of family road trips up and down my home state. They also carry old college (Go Bears!), high school, and everyone's favorite - summer camp tees. Plus, you cannot beat the vintage fit from the 70s/80s. Caveat: Today's "S" is equivalent to an "M" or bigger because people were presumably thinner back then. So do your part for the environment and look effortlessly stylish doing it by shopping used and vintage! And there's no better place in L.A. for this than Raggedy Threads.
