Hookups are 50amp however they put a adapter there so we just did are regular hookup. The staff Kelsey was very polite, kind and went out of her way to assist me. We parked in spot 54. There was a nice large size piece of real grass there compared to any other RV spot. They are dog friendly. I would recommend this RV park to anyone. There are a lot of permanent tenants but they are quite and keep their area well kept.

Brandi is awesome! They take care of whatever your needs are as a guest in the park. The facilities are clean and the park itself is beautiful. The thing I liked the best about the area though, was the community. There are a lot of full time residents in the park and they are quick to welcome you, show you around, and offer advice on any issues you may come across. They also know where all the good food is located! The front office also sells items for trailer maintenance, toiletries, snacks, drinks and alcoholic beverages so drinking responsibility is only a short walk away. The only negative I have is that the park itself is tiny. It is a pretty tight fit so hauling in there is a little difficult. Especially to less experienced RV owners like myself. It is better suited for smaller rigs. My trailer is 37 feet and it did get tight. However, there are a lot of rigs in there that were bigger than mine. Overall, 10 out 10 recommend. Also, in reference to the murder/arson review. We were new to the park when that happened. Every correct action was taken to manage that situation in a professional and caring way. Both the owner (at the time) and manager Kelsey asked if we were doing ok and were completely understanding if we would have wanted to leave. We didn't. We actually did the opposite and got 2 other surgical travelers spots there. That event was a one off and nothing else even close to that happened during our stay.

It has security and someone is available on site for those coming in after hours or who may need assistance. The long term stay area has a community full of nice and respectful people, which gives the park a nice, safe, and friendly neighborhood feel. The spaces offer a good sized lot with parking, and many have fences for pets and privacy. Most all have mature trees among them. There's a nice, shady, grassy area to enjoy a picnic or for lounging, a patio area for sitting and enjoying the view of the Truckee River and Idlewild Park. It's located close to everything Reno has to offer. Whether you just need a space for the night or somewhere to stay a little longer, this park really is a hidden gem for those wanting a friendly, conveniently located, peaceful and quiet stay.

I tried to book online but it wouldn't let me so I called the number and spoke to a very pleasant woman who took my reservation over the phone and even offered me a first responder discount! Upon arrival, they were set up for after hours check in and very organized and timely. Chris, the security officer guided us right to our site and was very pleasant. Our site was a premium river side set up that did not disappoint! We backed up to the river with lush trees and greenery all around. There's a beautiful patio with chairs, tables and Edison string lights overlooking the river where we would sip our drinks after a long day of traveling and watch the geese and ducks in the river. There's also a couple of benches and fire pits established for campers to use. There are long term residents throughout the park, and some sites are pretty close together so we were very lucky to have gotten a premium, roomy luxurious site at last minute. We definitely recommend paying the little extra for a river front site. Site 11 & 12 are the best! PS: the staff is very responsive to texts and questions and they were a delight!

The restaurant has really good food which makes it super convenient. I used to rep hotels for 20+ years and feel comfortable recommending the resort. They do need a light spruce up- furniture, lighting. No full length mirror- made it hard to get ready for nightlife. But because Lake Tahoe is a few steps away from the front door it was very easy to get past.

However, the initial booking challenges, due to the six-month advance requirement, we had to book two reservations. We so loved our initial spot for three days, and while the second location was just okay, the proximity to the lake--only five minutes away--made up for it. We book travel with our dog in mind and this resort offers a beautiful, dog-friendly beach section that offers ample space and a relaxed atmosphere. Our dog loved it. Nothing like the entire family at the beach. Of course-Always leave -no trace behind. The resort's amenities like paddle board, kayak, boat, and jet ski rentals are a great addition. Nice to see the many options. We, however- prefer bringing our own water toys. The stunning sunsets, shallow swimming areas, and crystal-clear water made for an idyllic retreat. We're eager to return, ideally securing one lovely desirable campsite. Special thank you to Daniel and Bobby for great service.

I was impressed with out two story "hotel" room as it was actually a very large condominium! Clean, newer carpets, comfortable beds and couches, nice linens, and very clean grounds. The only thing that is weird is having to check in and not dealing directly with a person. It's all done via the telephone. Kind of strange even when we had to get a new room key when ours didn't work. The "person" that helped us didn't even ask for ID for our new keys. I like being a guest at a hotel and part of the guest experience is interacting with friendly staff not a voice from who knows where.

The majority is rented out to low income or disabled people. I found a woman literally passed out in a car in front of the unit my family stayed in. She was clearly under the influence, folded forward in the front seat, a cigarette in her mouth broken from when her face hit the gear shift. There was a broken down, denied, paint peeling car in a parking spot in front of our unit that didn't move the entire time we were staying there. The "gym" is gross. Ancient broken equipment. No towels. Nothing to sanitize before you use the equipment (if you can get it to work). Tbere is seldom anyone in the office to help if you have an issue. When there IS someone they don't help - even if they could. The resort doesn't hesitate to tell lies to get people to stay. For example, the website says you can purchase high speed secure internet for the week. False. There is no high speed internet. There isn't even internet to be purchased. The "open" internet has no internet connection. They have people staying here who are just plain nasty and they bring more people (who don't live here and who aren't resort exchange visitors) who are running around, yelling, leaving trash and belongings wherever they happen to land. The midweek tidy up is a joke. They didn't clean anything ... dishes, shower ... nothing. They left a stack of towels and put some in the wall holder. The shower broke so we couldn't even take showers - had to use the tub. The good thing is that maintenance came quickly to fix it. The inside of the unit is pleasant, but nothing fancy. The TVs aren't smart .... and why would they be? The internet doesn't work. There is a tiny DVD player connected to the back of the TV and it sits on the table where you are supposed to eat. Why? Because the TV is wall mounted and there is no credenza, tv table or anything under the TV to put the DVD player on. If you want to move the dining table away from the wall and actually eat at it, you have to put the DVD player on the floor There is very little counter space. And what little is there is is occupied by a microwave, tiny toaster and plastic coffee maker. Glass wear is on a glass shelf that looks like it hasn't been dusted in months. Finally, this "resort" (not) is in a very sketchy neighborhood. I do not hesitate to say this is the WORST "resort" I have ever stayed in ... for this pit, I exchanged my unit in Hawaii. I'm just disgusted!
