First off...this is a great space. Staff and food are great. We have been here over a dozen times…read moreover the past 2 years. We went today, a Saturday just after lunch and the atmosphere was horrible. I counted 57 children under 5 years old and 42 adults. This was nothing more than a glorified Day Care with a beer garden. An endless screaming child nightmare. I love children and have 3 of my own so don't read this as a grouchy person review. If you want to go to a place where children are crying and creaming endlessly...this is your place mid day...perhaps the evening is better? We will never return.

We ordered the Harvest salad each. It was ok. The local cheese was awesome, the beets and squash were far too small, need to be chunkier to be able to taste them, the greens were massive and the dressing was good. Overall, I have had much better salads. The Boss got the mule while I got a flight of two IPA's a dark lager and a hazy pale ale. All four beers were delicious, the mule was also a hit. Overall, ample parking, very loud, minimal interaction with staff, good drinks and ok food. Then when the bill came, there's 15% automatically added for doing most of the work myself. Cheeky buggers.

It was very chill. They have 2 locations and this one is the more 'lax version off the side of a road. Their other locations is in Chilliwack which is more established as a restaurant type. After talking to the guy at the till, he mentioned that they switch flavours every thursday. That was intriguing and made this place more interesting. I guess it's a place I'll have to come back to time to time. This place is more known for their sours. I have to agree. The strong blueberry one was really good. It was packed with flavour, thanks to the blueberries. Some of the other fruit sours were a bit of a miss. I had high expectations for the strawberry one but didn't really get strawberry unless I thought about it... My fave thing about their flights are the drink cards that go behind each flight glass. It was a nice touch to be reminded of what you got and read the vision behind the drink. (Almost wish the photos weren't of the cans but more of a moodboard to convey the flavour's vibe).

The salmon bowl was excellent -- it came with edamame, carrots, radishes. The salmon itself was super fresh and flavorful. I also really liked the chicken bites. They had a nice kick with a bit of chili flakes and were topped with cilantro, which added a fresh touch. Solid spot for a relaxed meal after a round of golf. Service is also friendly.

During a recent visit to Stanley Park the last thing I expected to find was a brewery...but there…read moreit was! I thought it was a mirage at first, but I walked up and touched it so I knew it was real. And it was exactly what we needed after a not insignificant amount of walking around Vancouver (we were touristing) and it was lunch time. Stanley Park Brewing is larger inside than it appears outside. With its outdoor seating and multiple public and private dining rooms its footprint is roughly the size of Rhode Island. (ok, maybe not THAT big...but it is expansive). Stanley Park Brewing is located not far from the entrance to Stanley Park so the views and the surroundings were all very beautiful. A tall clump of trees over here, a some flowering bushes over there...just lush greenery in every direction...and tennis courts. The entire area was clean and well maintained. When we arrived we were told there would be about a 15 (US) minute wait, but that 15 (US) minutes turned into about 5, as we were seated almost immediately at a table adjacent to the bar. The weather was amazing that day (about 72° F) so all the doors and windows were open so there was plenty of fresh air and a nice breeze. Our server arrived with cold water (muchly needed!) and gave us the beer and food menus. Congo and I opted for a flight of beers and the Smokey Island pizza because the maple candied bacon bits, charred pineapple, and jalapeño caught my attention. (Relax, people, it was personal pan pizza size.) For my flight of four I chose: SunSetter Peach Wheat Ale, Waypoint Hazy Pale Ale, Parklandia Hazy IPA, and Noble Pilsner. Each was very good with its own unique tastes and flavour palettes. Our food orders took about 15 minutes to arrive and the food was hot and accurate. The Smokey Island pizza was *Chef's Kiss*, while the SunSetter Peach Wheat Ale from my flight was so good I had to get a pint as well. Our server (Jordan) who was also the bartender. Jordan was knowledgeable about the beers and was able to answer any questions about menu without having to consult someone else. He also suggested the Smokey Island pizza, and for that alone he and I can be good friends. The entire staff was constantly in motion, whether sitting new guests, handling drink refills, cleaning tables, or anything else. Great teamwork all around. What started as a chance visit turned into one of our favorite lunch stops in Vancouver. Congo and I thank you.
