This place is full of fruity drinks. We came here on a Sunday and we were thinking about doing the happy hour drinks special. All 12oz for $4.50. We ordered our drinks and our server asked if we wanted a pint. Pint doesn't have a standard size. Some restaurant says it is 16oz, some say 24oz, some say 20oz and some say 18oz. It turned out to be $7.25 for a pint (20oz). darn we definitely made a mistake. We wanted to try more flavors. So getting 2 12oz special would be a better deal for us even though its slightly more expensive then the 20oz pint. Now we have to come back much more often again to try other flavors. Anyways service was good. We also noticed that this place serves food. We came here after lunch so we were already full. Their beer are not bad. It is very fruity and they have a lot of sour beer. Also they have lots of flavors. I think we definitely have to come back to try the other flavors. We found them to be quite similar to Bakery Craft Brewery in Port Moody. Overall, we enjoyed our time here. We loved that they have patios seating. They follow all Covid protocols. We highly recommend trying this place if you haven't. read more

5/5 beers, 5/5 service 2/5 ambiance 4/5 value* Mariner Brewing is located in Coquitlam. Somehow the brain lumps it together with the Port Moody's Rocky Point strip breweries. Came in on a Friday afternoon for couple of brewskies luckily stumbled upon their special-their second birthday celebration. Whoop whoop. All 12 oz are 50% off or 3$ and their flatbred is also 3$ (regularly 7$, 10$ respectively.) Great deal. Needless to say we drank a lot 6 x 12oz and 4 x flat breads. The beers were fresh and tasty. Very refreshing to add. The flatbreads were good. Kind of here or there in terms of texture- suspect it was frozen pizza then was nuked-chewy and lukewarm in some areas, hot in others. Later was reassured by staff-the flatbreads were oven baked. Overall okay. Now the ambiance, the dark navy and bronze colour combo is dull-drum oh humbug aesthetics as if the designer had no idea or wasn't inspired. Bland city, but does the job, one can only suppose. I won't pretend that I'm an expert on craft beer, but I really enjoyed my visit to mariner brewery. Their flights are a good value ($10-$11 for four 5oz), and great for sampling new flavors. Their daily promotions and happy hours are good values for varying food/drinks. Sunny afternoon on a Sunday in August: The Hubs and I were around the area and decided to try this place. We didn't know but Sunday was all day happy hour specials. There was live music in the front when we arrived. There are 3 spaces to sit: front, middle (couple of high tables and lounge chairs), back (beer garden with 4 picnic tables). We tried the: - That Mystery Beer: we have no clue how it works - we saw the bartender gave three shots of beer to create this. The beer is sweet, apricots, and a bit of hop. - The Northern IPA: lemon zest taste, hazy. Overall: not bad beer. Will come back if I get a chance. read more

Finally, a craft beer place in Coquitlam. Parking is available in the lot in front of the really long building. Finding the building is a bit tricky. The business itself is in the middle of a long (row) building, but the only access to the building is from Lansdowne. Miss the street and one may be circling around like crazy. Also be sure to take the road that goes to the front of the building (ie N side) and not the rear. The first time I tried going here, it took me 5-10 minutes to figure out where the place is. Once all that is sorted, the establishment can be enjoyed. As of the time I went, the business had only been open for 3 weeks, hence the rather plain interior. However, I really do like the large motto on the wall: "Set no path. Never be lost." True words of wisdom. The guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful. At the time they only had 3 beers available, so for a flight one has to double up on something. The beers were more of the light to brown variety. Even their IPA wasn't too dark. Waiting for the place to overcome the teething stage. In the meantime, it's still definitely worth checking out. read more

Cute little brewery that I've missed every time I drove pass it to work. I'm glad a coworker suggested it and I'd definitely be going back! Nice food and drinks! Good service and clean place. A few different options for beers and they do have non-alcoholic beverages for people who don't drink. Parking lot right outside and walking distance to bus stops. A little further but still walkable to Coquitlam central for more buses and the skytrain (about a 8-10mins walk) read more

My first visit here! I came here post-hike with some girlfriends. Other than the craft beer, you can also order food - little bar snacks. The space is nice, super high ceilings, bar seating, long table seating. In the summer they have beer garden seating with picnic tables and it's fenced in. Staff is amazing, so friendly! They have beer on tap that they brew on site. I will be back! read more

Good beer! Decent food! I love their Berliner Weiss. I honestly think it's the best in town next to Pride Berliner Weiss from Ridge brewing. Most people thought mariners winter beers were mediocre. I disagree! I thought the christmas cake beer was awesome. In fact all three of their Christmas offerings were amazing. There fruit sours are good as well. I would have given them 5 stars but again they like so many breweries only fill like 3 of their beers in growlers. Everyone wants fruit beers as fills. Figure it out. Other than that nice brewery, good beer, good service, fair prices and decent location. read more

Don't buy their merchandise. My brother bought my son a t-shirt that ripped the first time he wore it...when I tried to return it I was told I needed a receipt...(like I bought the shirt somewhere else???) My brother doesn't live locally and it would have been a huge hassle. Instead of exchanging the shirt, they offered me a 10% discount on a purchase of beer. Also wanted to make note of the exceptional service for their online ordering and delivery service. Newest brewery on the block is the Tri Cities area! I like how it's very close to home, but the room is a bit sterile. There are currently four beers on tap (cream ale, amber ale, IPA and sour Weiss). All are fairly easy to drink but nothing stood out. Hopefully with time their product starts to stand out! One plus is there is actually food here as opposed to just snacks or wondering which food truck will be parked out front!! read more

We tried a few beers. They were okay. Food I would say below average. Bottle salsa and other shortcut. Go there for beers and games.

We just stopped in to sample their liquid product, haven't tried any foods yet. So far it's looking good, a couple nice IPA's and a great Mocha stout. The staff we've dealt with are quite friendly and knowledgeable. We will be back. read more
