I wanted to update my review due to the employee that first messaged me back in regards to the defective cartridge. The employee, Megan, reached out to me again after she read my original review. She stated that her manager was surprised with how the budtender handled my situation. I really do appreciate Megan reaching out to me again to try to resolve the issue. Unfortunately we had already thrown out the cartridge and receipt. But I'm glad that the company actually reads the reviews posted Yelp and that they use it to better their system. We went to the window for recreational and my friend and I put in both IDs together and you watch this brunette get all pissed off gave us the dirtiest look and say one at a time. She checked us in and we sat down where she screamed at us from behind the window saying no go in and gave us the evil eye ugly face again I've never had this treatment anywhere else. She's completely nasty to us. Going inside was great where we had the sweetest girl ever help us and she knew her stuff. I have never been impressed the three times I been there. I bought an eighth of Pineapple Express and it was so dried out, it had no taste.

I totally don't know what most reviews are talking about. If you see a bad review under this dispensary I believe that's because the person not because of the place. This is the only dispensary in town I have been treated with respect and actually given knowledge on what I'm smoking. I have a med card and going around from each dispensary in town this has given me the best deals and prices. I would highly recommend this place for any new comers and anyone with a med card because they are extremely helpful and kind when you walk in the door. Not impressed with their method of pushing garbage batteries. Select & Stizzy to be specific. These brands have manufactured gimmick battery programs that leave you paying for less product and more waste. At a time when our environment cant afford it. SSR has taken the stance of pushing trash into your pocket for added cash in their pocket. Corporate mentality at its best. I wont be supporting either stizzy, select or silver state relief from here out. Over priced dried out flower. I purchased a premium priced bag and was given basically powder it had dried out so bad. Went into silver state to purchase 2 grams. One of the bags felt significantly less than the other which was odd to me so I decided I'd open it up and scale it out. It came out to a .4 and the other came out to a Gram. Now I work at a Cultivation facility so I am aware of the packaging process and can understand how this could happen. Missing more than half of the bag I purchased is disheartening & Unfortunately I was also met with a very rude and insulting supervisor (Dustin) who tried to tell me I was lying and that there was no way the package was short. I wasn't seeking any reimbursement so I had no need to lie was just trying to help and let them be aware of the mistake. I have always had the best experience with SSR. Extremely knowledgeable bud tenders, & smiling, happy people that check you in. Must be wonderful place to work for staff to always be so happy & helpful. My only wish would be being able to talk to someone during the COVID restrictions for help with SSR & Blackbird. Most the time I don't know what my final total will be (medical and or senior discount) until minutes before they get here and they wanna be paid cash. Kind of makes it hard. I love this place, totally my second favorite club! I love how large their selection is and their prices are between $9-$3 cheaper per gram than any where else and they have the same strains and more. The staff is always awesome and some have already remembered my name. I love all the little tokens they have for sell around and their smoking tools are a great price too! The only reason they did'nt get 5 stars is they separate medical and rec. That's not a bad thing except when I want my fiance with me. He is not allowed in the medical side so we have to sit in the parking lot and look at the menu, then I have to go in alone and shop! I think if a medical patient wants their spouse with them they should be allowed, but oh well, still a great place. I suggest RESERVA PRIVADA if you can. I will first say that I live in Henderson so this may be my only visit. An impromptu road trip allowed me the opportunity to try your dispensary. Pros - - Friendly and Professional Staff - I got there early, like I usually do, and the staff took the time to greet me and the others that were waiting. Once they were open, we were promptly let in and given instructions on how to fill out the intake form. After completing that, I was escorted into the sales floor by a bud tender. I was given information on an array of items. - Great Prices - I've seen a lot of people complaining about prices. I will say that I haven't bought a large quantity of flowers yet so I'm less familiar with prices for halves or ounces. I was there for shatter day on Saturday which was one of the things I was excited about. Not every county allows for discounts or special so getting that $10 of a gram of wax was a real treat. From what I saw their prices are bit lower than Las Vegas dispensaries which was nice offset to the long drive. - Good Selection - There was an array of products available, many like the CBD pens and the wax, aren't available in the Las Vegas area yet. They had a good selection of flower but I was mostly interested in the wax as it has proven the most effecting for managing pain. The one other thing that stood out was the recycling receptacle for the juju joints. I think this is a great idea as several components can be recycled and used again. - Clean Environment - This is a personal pet peeve of mine, keeping an establishment clean is a must and they do a great job. Like I said I got there early and although the place looked immaculate, the staff could still be seen cleaning before opening. Cons - - Staff Training - The bud tender who assisted me, I won't mention names, had an interesting approach to his job. He started telling about some of the products they carried. I told him I was mostly interested in wax that day so he pulled out what he had and started telling me about it. He seemed a little unsure about certain aspects of the wax and when I told him I work in the industry the relationship switched and suddenly I was telling him about wax and how to dab. Ill tell you the same thing I told him, go watch the High Time Dab Tutorial on Youtube. - Product Terms - The shatter that I purchased had more of a budder consistency. Potency is great and it dabs just fine but there is a clear difference in consistency. I know that dabs only become prevalent in the last couple years and the nuances are still being catalogued so I don't see this as a huge draw back but is something to consider moving forward. Overall I was pleased with my experience and I'll be stopping by the next time I'm in sparks. read more

I'm from Texas I have a valid state ID the Same ID card I've had since I was 18 years old I'm now 24 and this lady was rude off the back and tried to say my ID was Fake bc the birthday wasn't at the bottom keep in mind I'm from Texas and my ID is a permit but it's still a valid ID that was not expired this lady needs to learn the difference between a fake and real ID I even pulled up the federal ID act from the Texas department of public safety and it clearly states that a valid permit ID has the birthday exactly where my birthday was located so if you're visiting this state and not from here I wouldn't suggest going here she might say your id is fake with the rudest attitude because you're from a different state or it could've been bc I'm Latino and she was white either way there's no excuse for her to have such an ugly and rude attitude instead I went down the street to reef dispensary had no issue at all as a matter of fact the lovely lady was extremely nice and very helpful I spend like $260 there and left a very generous and it was so worth it for the reef dispensary products read more

It seems to be a turn-and-burn vibe, not a lot of consultation, geared more toward heavy cannabis users who already know exactly what they want, and they want a whole ounce of it. I'm still in kind of an e xploratory phase, a gram each of a few different things, figuring out what works best. I asked for something sativa-hybrid in the 12-18% THC range, the budtender suggested BioJesus and 707 Headband, which I realized after I got home are both indica-hybrids with really high THC (over 26%) so I felt like I wasn't heard.
