We came up to spend the weekend with my hubby while he was up here working. We had to do laundry and found this place in the same shopping center so we popped in to have breakfast. It was busy, but terribly packed so we got a table right away. Our server Reann was super sweet and helpful. I ordered the Seahorse omelet and before putting the order in she made sure I liked feta cheese because some people don't and she didn't want my breakfast to be ruined. I switched to jack cheese just in case. After my meal came, she offered to bring a side of feta so I could taste it together. I thought that was thoughtful of her and appreciated it. BTW, it was really good with both cheeses! The seahorse omelet had shrimp, tomato, and avocado, oh and cheese! Haha! It was really good and even though i was stuffed i kept eating! I got hash browns and a cinnamon roll muffin to go with it. The muffin was delicious. My hubby got one with his breakfast too. He got the country fried steak and he really enjoyed it. He said the flavor was really good and he enjoyed it. The kids all got the pancakes. The little one got the kiddie cakes and it was a good size, it came with eggs, and her choice of bacon or sausage. The other two kids got the short stack pancakes one had a combo and added blueberries, and instead of toast he was able to get another blueberry pancake. He was in heaven! The pancakes were also very good. They were fluffy and cooked perfectly with great flavor. I think thats why I was so full... I kept eating his pancakes too! Its a cute, clean restaurant with patio seating and a counter to sit at. The portions are big so be ready! The ladies at the table near ours both ordered French dips and they looked amazing! French dips are my favorite so I will have to make sure to come back for lunch the next time I come to visit! This is definitely a great spot to enjoy a great meal. Honestly the people are what make it extra good. Everyone was so nice, but Reann was great and really took care of us, and there is a young man with curly brown hair, I really regret not getting his name because he was great as well. Been to the one in Santa Cruz but not on this one. Our friends from Watsonville recommended this for our friend's bday celebration. The restaurant is spacious with lots of seating options, it has a wide parking space, and in a nice center. The inside is clean and well organized. Bathrooms are clean as well. It's a bit loud coz it has an open kitchen but I don't mind it at all. The foods that we all ordered were delicious. I had the an avocado sandwich and my friends have different kinds of omelet. The one that we all love the most is the apple omelet which is on the menu for the day. All our foods are well seasoned. It all came out timely and all together so we had the chance of having all our food without waiting for some. And the service, it's awesome! Big shout out of Doloria for making our first time experience (except for our 2 Watsonville friends) a very pleasant one! She catered to all our requests with a genuine huge smile on her face, she have a very gentle spirit that just shows. I love the OG Silver Spur and was really excited to hear that they were opening another location closer to me. We waited a little bit to come eat here because I knew it was going to be crazy the first few weeks of them opening.. We waited about 30 min to be seated which was expected on a Sunday around brunch time. Once we were seated we were waited on quickly! We got our drinks right away and our orders taken right away. The server was really sweet! Our orders did get a little messed up, but was totally fine. (Wanted potatoes got hash browns, wanted to sub potatoes for fruits, got potatoes) nothing crazy as we did enjoy the food! It's not a huge diner but definitely not small either. This was my first visit to this restaurant although I had been to their other locationin Capitola in years past. My husband and I had lunch, he ordered a chefs salad and I ordered their special which was salad tostada with salmon. Service was prompt and the meals came out fairly quickly. My salad was topped worth a generous piece of salmon, perfectly grilled. Avocado and tomatoes surrounded the plate and mango salsa and a wonderful lime dressing accompanied it. It was a great salad, with a layer of black beans on the tortilla. I enjoyed every bite. My husband's chef salad was equally generous of meats and he enjoyed this salad also. It was my first time at this breakfast spot. There wasn't a hostess or your typical "wait to be seated" sign. You just sign your name on their guest sheet and they will call your name when your table is ready. I like how spacious it is; as soon as I sat down my server came out immediately and offered menus and water. A couple of minutes later my waiter took my order. I chose the meat lovers scramble (needed to get my protein) and I enjoyed everything on my plate. I especially liked the breakfast hash browns, which had just the right amount of seasoning. The wait staff were courteous and prompt. This seems like an incredibly popular breakfast spot, so I would recommend getting here early. I arrived around 9:00 and there was a HUGE line! Came to visit on a Saturday morning to see if it lived up to the hype....it certainly did not. A long-ish wait paid off with seating at a spacious, clean table. All staff was courteous. I was pleasantly surprised, but mostly confused, when I read on the specials board that they were offering a "halibut" breakfast for $25. Obviously halibut is more rare and expensive than other commonly offered types of fish in this area such as sand dabs, ling cod, and rock cod. When I asked the waitress about the special, she said something like "Oh, you mean the fish breakfast"? I ordered it and sure enough, it wasn't halibut. Good fish but not halibut. The final insult was the printed receipt that read "sword fish & eggs....". Definitely not that either! My companion got the chorizo scramble....so-so but too much veg. and not enough chorizo. My kit kats got the lion's share! Summary: decent food in a great atmosphere, with Santa Cruz or Palo Alto prices in a washed-up Watsonville strip mall. Do better, guys. read more

So I went to breakfast yesterday for my birthday, the place is nice and open. The food was ok for me it had a different taste to the home potatoes and the omelette was ok with no taste but the same taste as the potatoes so I'm thinking they just grill everything on the same spot without cleaning it. So the prices are pretty expensive especially for breakfast an also I paid 74$ with no tip but when I checked my account they added a 10$ tip when I did t approve it so I'm never going here again and just double check your account because they will add there tip either way u say no or yes! read more

First timer here and they deserve the five start ratings. I went with my family of 9 on a Sunday and got seated less then 5 minutes. First time at this, their new location and I was quite impressed. The food (breakfast) was very good and the service was excellent. The only slight negative was that it is quite noisy. We had a business lunch at the Silver Spur Watsonville location. The wait wasn't too long for an 11 o'clock hour. Seating is comfortably spacious and even with a full house we could hear our conversation. The place is bright with the big picture windows and beautiful artwork on the walls. We were quickly provided beverages and menus. Our waitress knew the ins and outs of the menu items as she asked about meal prep and side options and it just rolled off her tongue. I ordered the chicken fried steak with over hard eggs and hashbrowns. The gravy was hearty but I prefer a more tender chicken fried steak. Eggs and hashbrowns were good. I'm a sucker for bread and the white toast was toasted perfectly to enjoy throughout the meal without getting too hard. Other items at the table looked equally delicious and there were no complaints about the chicken salad (large and plenty of chicken), south of the border scramble (mixed goodness you could see) and sea horse omelette (beautiful fluffiness).
