I've noted some of the low reviews and they generally seem to be posted by people traveling through. I can only say I am not originally from Great Falls. I grew up all over the world. I began eating Tex-Mex as an 8 year old in San Antonio, Texas. If that doesn't form a person's palate for what true Tex-Mex tastes like, then nothing will. La Cocina's kitchen staff knows exactly what they're doing and they do a great job. Sure, it might not be as spicy as one might find in San Antonio, but the spices used are exceptionally flavorful and appropriate, especially for Great Falls clientele, which, after all, is the target customer base. If you're as adventurous as I am and just like eating something super spicy, they provide El Yucateco Chile Habanero sauce right at the table! The food is served piping hot every time.
