We needed a campground near Carson City and this was the only one with availability. It is in the middle of a busy commercial area. The sites are basically two wide parking spots: one for the camper and one for the tow vehicle. No picnic table; lots of junk in the neighboring site and next to the bathroom; filthy bathrooms; shower without shower curtain; insulting signs in the bathroom; office smelled like the inside of an ashtray and smell leaked into the bathroom. We were required to check in by 5 pm. Lots of road noise that thankfully quieted down after about 10 pm. read more

First off this is the first RV park that won't let you leave a deposit, so we drove 6 hours stressing out if we even have a spot held. Once we arrived I went through the opened door at the entrance next to the gate. Just walking in you could tell we were the only ones staying for a week. Everyone else has broken down trucks, trailers and RV's. Times are definitely hard. But this place is a parking lot with reverse grade. I had to go and buy more sewer lines and stands and it took almost two hours to get the standing sewer water out of our lines. There is no where for your animals to go potty if you bring them. The location of this parking lot is really nice though. read more

This is a simple park. Not a lot of amenities, but access to several casinos within walking distance, and several good restaurants. It is gated, which is a plus, and close enough to a lot of major locations to make it worth the price. There are a few Long term residents that I've found if you talk to them are happy to chat and help out if they can. Just talk to them like normal people without pretense, or agendas and you will get along just fine. Its like any community, you can be apart of it or go your own way. Like any place you get what you put into it. Be an nice and friendly you will get that back. Be an Idiot, or demanding things you feel entitled to when you are not, and well you get what you give. read more

I think some of these RV parks are guilty of hyperbole. This one fits in that category. From their own description on their brochure, you would think you were about to pull into a 5 star park with locking gates (very annoying but necessary for this neighborhood, I'm guessing). But once inside, it feels like a bowling alley. Very narrow and long with lots of old, permanent motorhomes and trailers. You are crammed in between other campers with precious little room. Confined asphalt camping is what you have for a $32 fee. The one thing I DID like was its proximity to the wonderful Peppermill Casino across the street. I will definitely check out the other parks before staying here again. It's just not my cup of tea. read more

We stayed at the Silver Sage RV Park from 20 September departing 23 September, 2021. The morning we departed we found that our 175 pound home generator had been stolen from the bed of our truck. It had been chained and padlocked to a permanent ring in the bed of the truck. Silver Sage RV Park does have security cameras. The manager, Susan, "said" that the security cameras showed the generator had not been stolen while our truck was in her Park. She also said: "not again" when we reported the theft to her. When I asked (three times) for still photos from their security cameras to verify her denial of theft in her park, she did not answer my e-mail requests, nor did she provide any photos. I just don't understand why people can't clean places up. RV with flat tires old mattress thrown on pile of broken branches. Sight that have messes everywhere. Gates that are not closed, no one in main office. This is a dump. It's a good location but the owners don't care. It's obvious. Stay somewhere else read more

Disgustingly dirty, all the "campers" in this park look like they are homeless and have lived here for a long time. Every thing they owned was clutter everywhere. One little dirt area marked as "pet walk" with a sign that said no pets in grass Not cheap either and even though it's across the street from Peppermill Casino it was a ghetto! Again...not cheap! $145 for 3 nights to camp in a small parking lot with lots of trash. We had to clean our area before we could park because we were worried about popping our tires on all the broken pieces of metal and such laying around. They even gave us a flyer that advertised Rail City Casino was giving $100 Free play for new players card. We go to the casino and they told us that it hadn't been valid for awhile. Although we really enjoyed the casino. Awful camping experience would not recommend to anyone! Wish I could give minus stars for this place!! read more

Stayed here for a couple nights, its ok definately not the premier rv spot that the description on google says. its a concrete strip no grass at all, but if you want good access to Reno its good. Its a little more expensive than the koa we stayed at the first night. The only real complaint we have is the hot water, we have yet to experience any. read more

I don't know if the people live upstairs and take care of the business or the owners or just managers anyway she is very rude and if you tell them something doesn't work just to let them know they act like you're running the place down which is not The purpose of the conversation it was to let them know the 30 amp plug was damaged inside and to let the maintenance person know, well she acted as though it was my problem by not having a correct plug. I was an electrician in my previous life before I retired so I know a little bit about the problem I was trying to Bring to her attention. So after the conversation we went to the Peppermill and gambled a little bit. We decided to stay another day and went to the office that morning and asked if we could stay but she said they had reservations and the place would be full. Well the place wasn't even half full so I guess she took offense with the electrical plug comment. Hope the owner of this RV park knows what's going on losing a lot of business with a manager Like this! By the way all the other comments pretty much spot on. read more

DO NOT STAY HERE...this park is terrible....more like a homeless shelter. If there are rules, they are not followed. The office is a mess and the managers living area is a filthy mess. No covenants were being followed and maintenance is non existent. We checked in for two nights as we transited Reno for our next destination. Thinking it would be a convenient location....which it was, to stay over. Once we checked in and paid for our two night, we felt trapped. Weeds behind our unit were knee to waist high. The more permanent guests (tarp covered, messy campsites filled with discarded items and garbage) had large overflowing garbage containers in front of their units. Many of the residents vehicles obviously had not moved in months and appeared not road worthy due to exterior tarps, tape, body damage and expired tabs. The pet area and communal spaces were unkempt and inadequate. Grassy areas for guests had not been mowed in weeks or months, weeds were growing though the asphalt throughout the park. There were only about 40 spaces in this small park...but the entire thing was unsightly. We were anxious to leave this morning, but the back gate (the only way out based on the diagonal back in spaces), was inoperable. When I went to the office, no one answered my knock or bell ring at 8:30 am. The owners live above the office and would not answer my phone call or knocks. As I spotted one of the managers and confronted him about the problem with the back gate, I was told to exit the front....an impossible task with no turn around for our 40' fifth wheel and truck. I asked him to get someone in to open the back gate so we could leave as planned at 9:00. (Yesterday I let him know that we wanted to leave in the morning and he indicated that I should pray the gate would open). Rather than talk with me, he abruptly turned and went inside, closing the door to me. This park actually had a Good Sam (three stars), and AAA rating. I will take that up with them next. read more

What a dump. Stayed here years ago and a dump. Thought that we'd try again, since they stated that it was a Premier Place......to WHAT. Total in disrepair. Manager building really need some TLC and appears that dog/cat waste was just throw in that back to get it out of the way. The only thing that it is Premier is that the Peppermill is across the street.....SECURITY, great but saw someone, that appeared NOT to be a patron, jumping the fence. Neighborhood less than desirable. Would I ever return HELL NO! Plus unable to get on their internet. 26 number. WHY? Obviously they didn't want you to use the net. read more

I visited friend of mine a few times who lived here for almost a year. Never really did get a good feeling because they let me in thru the security gate without asking a single question. Elder couple managers AND their married daughter lived there so you have 4 landlords to contend with. Very late One night, manager's son-in-law was very drunk and extremely loud yelling, screaming for unreasonably long time. My friend finally walked over to tell him that rest of us were trying to sleep so to keep it down a little bit. Oh, boy !! Was that a mistake !! An argument ensued and he yells to (I'm thinking to his wife) "GO GET MY GUN" so my friend was afraid for his life, he called Cops. Which is what ANY normal person would do when threatened with gun. Police came and eventually things have calmed down and the son-in-law warned. The next morning, my friend finds a 5 day eviction notice taped to his door saying " Due to the disagreement " which they had caused. He had just bought a 5th wheel, installed brand new 20 feet sewer pipe, hard line cable and WiFi which he had to pay installation fees in all of them all 2 weeks prior. Oh, did I mention that he had given them his old RV (old but still runs great with new Refrigerator -we just took it camping ) for him to live in ?? To be fair got $200 discounts on a rent !! All this said, thank you for reading. But beware, you might just get shot if you complain to them about anything!! read more

DO NOT waste your money here. Park is a run down mess, nothing is being taken care of. There were weeds growing up through the asphalt, trash up against the fence, the water faucets are the old fashioned handle type & grass in the so-called picnic area hasn't been mowed for months I'm guessing. Did I mention the so-called called picnic area?? It looks like they did some dumpster diving, found some old ratty recliners people threw in the trash, & that's what they expect you to sit on. Oh, but they did have what looked like some kind of exercise machine there too. Guess that was the fitness room! I'm pretty sure people are living here, because there are old, broken down RVs, trash stored all around, underneath, etc, etc. Only stayed here because we could find no other space available, & waiting for another park to open up. The only positive thing I can about this place is, they are right next door to an awesome steak house! Would NEVER recommend this dumpy RV Park to anyone! Why Good Sam gave them their approval is beyond comprehension. read more
