Can't say enough great things about this little hidden gem…read more My hubby and I usually book our campsites as we go based on our eta, weather, pit stops, etc. As hubby drove yesterday, I looked on Yelp and found a little site just outside of Reno along the river that looked promising. I tried to book online but it wouldn't let me so I called the number and spoke to a very pleasant woman who took my reservation over the phone and even offered me a first responder discount! Upon arrival, they were set up for after hours check in and very organized and timely. Chris, the security officer guided us right to our site and was very pleasant. Our site was a premium river side set up that did not disappoint! We backed up to the river with lush trees and greenery all around. There's a beautiful patio with chairs, tables and Edison string lights overlooking the river where we would sip our drinks after a long day of traveling and watch the geese and ducks in the river. There's also a couple of benches and fire pits established for campers to use. There are long term residents throughout the park, and some sites are pretty close together so we were very lucky to have gotten a premium, roomy luxurious site at last minute. We definitely recommend paying the little extra for a river front site. Site 11 & 12 are the best! PS: the staff is very responsive to texts and questions and they were a delight!

He guided us to our spot and helped back me in. While the spot was ok, it provided all the items we needed with full hookups. My spot was on crushed granite and was just barely big enough for my 32 ft class A. Had a slight rear slope so I needed to use some blocks to level up. No biggie for me. Was quiet. Only issue was the screaming lady one morning at 4am yelling "give me back my keys" along with some other choice words. I'd definitely like to come back and check out the river spaces.

(Fair enough) We were put in a small spot to put our 30 ft travel trailer AND somehow park our F350. My husband was dissatisfied and they moved us to a little larger spot. Lo and behold the next morning in the spot next to our friends was a travel trailer the same size as ours if not smaller! A lot of full timers here as well. Not my cup of tea. I needed to use the bathroom this morning and there was no AC in the bathrooms! It has been triple digits here in Reno and I can't imagine using bathroom during the heat of the day. We will never come here again. The KOA in Boomtown was much nicer. We would have stayed there but we wanted to be with our friends.

There was a nice large size piece of real grass there compared to any other RV spot. They are dog friendly. I would recommend this RV park to anyone. There are a lot of permanent tenants but they are quite and keep their area well kept.

Brandi is awesome! They take care of whatever your needs are as a guest in the park. The facilities are clean and the park itself is beautiful. The thing I liked the best about the area though, was the community. There are a lot of full time residents in the park and they are quick to welcome you, show you around, and offer advice on any issues you may come across. They also know where all the good food is located! The front office also sells items for trailer maintenance, toiletries, snacks, drinks and alcoholic beverages so drinking responsibility is only a short walk away. The only negative I have is that the park itself is tiny. It is a pretty tight fit so hauling in there is a little difficult. Especially to less experienced RV owners like myself. It is better suited for smaller rigs. My trailer is 37 feet and it did get tight. However, there are a lot of rigs in there that were bigger than mine. Overall, 10 out 10 recommend. Also, in reference to the murder/arson review. We were new to the park when that happened. Every correct action was taken to manage that situation in a professional and caring way. Both the owner (at the time) and manager Kelsey asked if we were doing ok and were completely understanding if we would have wanted to leave. We didn't. We actually did the opposite and got 2 other surgical travelers spots there. That event was a one off and nothing else even close to that happened during our stay.

In…read moreaddition to the dirt, water puddle at the door step and unsanitary toilet paper from a previous sewage spill that was not properly cleaned up; the sprinklers unexpectedly came on the morning of the 30th and since they were not properly directed shot under and onto the side of the coach. I was able to redirect the sprinklers fortunately. Also, the site was very unlevel. So not a very nice experience. I will not be returning!

We found River's Edge and it worked for us. Monthly rent is reasonable, swimming pool, mail boxes, allowed our 19 yo motorhome to rent here. The manager is on site from 7 am to 3pm, M-F. She told us which site was available. We were able to park during the weekend then I did the lease and payment on Monday. It is along the Truckee River. This place is ideal for out of town workers who need a place to stay with their RV. It is a budget friendly option. It is off a busy street and in the path of Reno Airport, which doesn't bother us since we are from the San Francisco Bay Area. This is white noise for us.....lol. We were lucky to get the last spot. If you want to see about availability you need to go to the office in person from 7 am to 3pm.

They need more restrooms when the office is closed. I waited for 20 minutes while people took showers this morning. Also looks like some long term residents do collect a bit of odds and ends making their spots look trashy. And the trash bins are so full they are overflowing. Ok for a night or two. The playground is the same playground found at several other parks in Sparks. There is a large play structure and a small play structure. Wood chips are underneath the playground. There are no swings at this park. The park was clean but the parking lot was surprisingly dirty. There was a lot of trash on the ground. Things have definitely improved since then and I can say I had an excellent experience. It's a residential park so it's not like a campground with a store or playground or anything, which was perfect for me. It does have a nice little dog park. It was quiet, cozy, well maintained, and I still consider the managers, Ray and Diane, friends. They do a great job of keeping things safe, clean, and comfortable.
