Why would a company provide a quote for an item that is not on their menu? That's weird in itself…read morethen to try and overcharge for said item is even more weird. I understand that you wanted to reply to my earlier review but it honestly made it worse. When you don't provide an item the correct thing to do, as a business, is to either figure out how much the going rate is or simply say you do not carry the item. Pretending to and knowing it is something you don't carry would have made the experience much worse. Again, I never requested a quote from you, Yelp sent it to numerous vendors. So once more, in the future, the most simple thing to do is be honest and say you don't carry the item, never made it, and apologize for the inconvenience. Have a wonderful day.

We want to give a huge shout out to Justin!!! He was truly the best. Not only was he prompt in his responses, but he answered all of the questions throughout the year of planning that I had on my plate. He made everything so seamless, was always so profession via email and through phone conversations, and always spoke with a great attitude. Thank you Justin for making this process so easygoing and being so patient. You really are the right person for this job! As for our actual wedding day, the catering team were there timely, had everything set up with their own decor which I didn't expect but appreciated, and we received many compliments on the food and their service. They helped where they could and we are so thankful for their efforts. Also thank you to Hutch for introducing himself to my husband and I before the reception started and letting us know that he was there for anything we needed. You guys were a great team, thank you so much!

Jennifer is professional and genuinely so kind. Her communication is prompt, and she covers all her bases. Her staff was excellent and also professional! Plates were cleared in a timely manner and glasses were always full. Coming from a service industry background I can be particular, but they were absolutely fantastic! Our leftovers were packed and labeled for us, and we were so excited because everything we ate was too good to waste! We dreamed about the pot roast, chicken with romesco sauce, Brussels sprouts, grilled cheese and tomato bisque for 10 months after our tasting waiting for our wedding day! I still have friends and family talking about the pot roast over a month after our wedding! Thank you so much for making our wedding day so special, and a meal everyone will remember. I absolutely recommend farm to table for any catering needs, our experience was better than we could have imagined!

Many guests said it was the best wedding food they'd ever had. My sister who is a chef at a Michelin star restaurant in NYC highly approved. They were the most professional, competent, and responsive vendor we worked with for our wedding. Jennifer helped us every step of the way in planning. They also offer so much more than food- They helped us with ordering rentals - linens and tables and china, set up & cleaned up the tables- and they provided staff & bartenders. If you are shy about the cost- it's totally worth it! It doesn't get better than this. Superior quality. In my family, food is love. And they brought the love!! Blessings on this amazing family business-May you continue to create beauty and thrive!

Jasmine was a creative genius in presentation and food selection for our 80's Themed party! She was…read moreefficient, professional, and most of all her finger foods for about 40 were totally rad. Our guests couldn't stop complimenting on how ultra bitchin' the food tasted! It had been quite awhile since our last catered party and we didn't know what to expect (our last caterer from several years ago had gone out of business). We decided about 2/3 of the way through our party planning that we wanted to take the main food menu off our plate (pun intended). We made the absolute right choice and will look for Simmer and Salt again next time. Highly recommend!

Adj: creatively curated caterer…read more Attended an event where Simmer and Salt was the caterer. To get us going, there was coffee, of course. Choice of regular and decaf coffee with sweet (really really sweet) oat milk creamer or half & half, but no tea or even hot water which I think was lacking. But the orange pineapple juice was very yummy and there was also fruit flavored infused water. The breakfast was pretty good, but lacked protein as there were only hardboiled eggs and little containers of yogurt that you can add granola/nuts to, still pretty good proteins, but where's the bacon? haha, maybe that was the customer's choice. The fruits platters were amazingly beautifully arranged and presented. Unfortunately, most of the fruits were not sweet. The honeydew melon was disappointingly and strangely bland as was the dragon fruit which looked so enticing as it's rare to see them in stores let alone served at a catered event. The strawberries and blackberries were good, thankfully. Lunch was boxed lunches with 3 choices - a veggies based Mediterranean chicken salad with hummus and 2 little pieces pita bread, a Sesame chicken noodle salad, and a croissant sandwich (not sure the filling as I didn't get that one or looked at it carefully). The Sesame chicken noodle salad was decadently delicious. I really like how they added an orchid (it's edible, I looked it up, lol). The sesame sauce was super sumptuous. The desserts were plentiful so I grabbed one of each, a brownie square, a chocolate chip cookie, and a little apple cobbler/crumble pie (like Dutch apple). They all look delicious, I will try soon, I was too full to eat any dessert after the entree. My hubby said the choc chip cookie was one of the best he's EVER had, wow, and the guy has a serious sweet tooth, so that's saying something. Overall, I was quite impressed by Simmer and Salt's catering. One point though is that everything was extra packaged with plastic bags, seems pretty eco unfriendly. =( I suggest less packaging in general. Still, Simmer and Salt definitely delivers delicious dining experiences that are tastefully prepared and presented.

Talk of the block- literally. All of our neighbors are still talking about the food from our party…read moredays later. We had people coming over the morning after asking for seconds. The meatballs were my personal favorite- the sauce is unique and there's just the slightest spice to them at the end- incredible. The bacon Mac and cheese is to die for. The slider bar was a super nice addition and a hit with all of the guests getting to build their own and choosing between thinly sliced tri tip or what should be famous pulled pork (it's SO good). They even provided a donut wall and the donuts. Communication was excellent, pricing reasonable and the food spoke for itself. They were on time for set up and helped us have a successful party. We are proud to support local businesses, and will definitely hire T Bones again!
