My husband and I work alternative schedules (health care field), and Renee was always available and exceptionally responsive. We worked with her across the COVID pandemic, and she was quick to meet important deadlines as well as do everything safely over the phone/virtually. This was our first time home buying experience, and we were not disappointed. From the beginning to end Renee gave us advice on our credit, sought the lowest rates, and thoroughly explained the best loan options. I felt so confident after the guidance she gave us and now we have the house of our dreams in the Heights. Thanks again Morton Mortgage, you were outstanding.

She was constantly updating us on the status of our loan and she explained everything in great detail. Not knowing much about the home buying process, Renee was with us every step of the way. She was always happy to explain anything we didn't understand and we completely trusted her information. It was great having someone communicate so quickly with us too. She's very quick in her responses, late at night or early in the morning. We couldn't have asked for a better loan officer for our home! Thank you, Renee!

To add insult to injury my home flooded on 01/08/25 from a leaking toilet. The insurance company did everything they needed to do including sending me my first payment to start my work on my home. SWE homes held on to my check for over 30days and wouldnt release the check to the contractor I chose telling me I needed to choose a cheaper contractor. As a mortgage company your main concern should be making sure that the contractors homeowners choose are insured contractors. Instead, they wanted to keep money from the insurance company to line their pockets. This is called DTPA and its against the law in texas. I had to hire a lawyer to get my money to fix my home. People need to start reporting them to the attorney general. Do better by people you do business with and stop taking advantage of low-income families.

I was sent to Cres Nable and she worked a miracle on me. Cres or someone from this company was in constant contact with me, treated me with so much respect, and I really felt valued. Cres would email me at 11 p.m., while she was working on my file. That showed me how dedicated she was to me purchasing my dream home. December 2019, my children and I moved into our DREAM we talked about, prayed about, and got built from the ground up, all because of Cres and the staff here at Pan American Mortgage. I do not know what the future holds, I absolutely love my new home, but if I were to ever purchase and move again, I will not use any other company. We humbly thank you for all that you have done, and although I never write reviews, I had to let the world know how amazing my experience was.

Worst communication, worst mortgage rate and worst mortgage broker…read more The only reason I had to work with them is that they are the preferred lender of the builder- Taylor Morrison. As mentioned in other reviews, Ms. Cres is the one dropping the ball. The number are always wrong, the address, loan amount, rate, and etc which I asked more than 10 times during the whole process. The answer always is "We will change the number in the end" which never happened until the day before closing, Luckily, I work with the sales closely throughout the whole transaction so the builder did not blame me of Pan American's fault. Owning and buying the first new construction home is exciting but also tiring and overwhelming. Please stay away from this broker who did not provide sufficient guidance nor providing enough information throughout the process. I am the one spending hours every week and tried to understand the meaning of every terminology. Did I mention that they have a horrible rate? It costs me almost 2 points to get the same rate as Wells Fargo on the same day. In the beginning, Ms. Cres made me feel like I should appreciate her favor because it is so difficult to have my loan approved. The truth is, when I sent all my documents to Wells Fargo, they gave me the perfect rate without all the hustle. I even locked the rate with Wells Fargo. Sadly, I went to them to late and they told me I should go one week earlier for them to close me on time. Ms. Cres asked me to send her the loan estimate from Wells Fargo and started blaming me for getting a second opinion. It is truly unprofessional. She even told me that she knows where I live and told me to keep working with them. (It's a creepy joke to me.) In the end of the day, with all my effort, I still close my house on-time. So I will give them two stars. The same post shared on Google Map
