Otherwise I would suggest looking elsewhere.

This is a nice quiet campground with grassy sites. Each site has a picnic table and fire pit. The…read moresites have electric and some have water, but there is no sewer. The bathhouse is kept clean several times a day. Staff is very nice and accommodating. The owner, Brian, is nice and understanding when you need to be moved. He has several rental campers, fully stocked, so all you mainly need are your clothes and personal items. Some of the campers have bunks to accommodate families. No pets are allowed in the rental campers. They have a few large sites for a large group of campers, but it is dry camping. The sites are not paved. The sites are narrow. There are a few that are wider. They still can accommodate toy haulers and motor homes. They also provide overflow parking for FREE, for your 4x4s, cargo trailers, flatbeds, extra vehicles, flatbed, etc. Val-du is a little over 1 mile from Silver Lake. Ideal location just away from the busy down town, but close enough to ride bikes. There is a laundry room open 24 hours. The small store has some laundry soaps. The store is well stocked with plenty of Silver Lake memorabilia to take home or give family and friends. They also sell some camping supplies like showing bags, small teens, lawn chairs, ice, firewood, pop, candy, fire starter, lighter fluid, stores makings, including the sticks to put them on over your fire. They sell sweaters, hats, t-shirts, flip-flops, blankets, towels, tarps, ice cream, pop, water, some games, and so much more. We love this campground and will return. They do have quiet hours between 11pm and 8am. This isn't a party place to stay up all night drinking and being loud. The Silver Lake area has a noise ordinance at 11pm. It's the law.

They also have a room with air hockey, carpet ball, foosball, and a ping pong table. They also have a rock climbing wall, and with this stuff you'll never be bored!

Coffee and bakery shop, mini golf, go carts, BBQ wings restaurant and multiple pizza places. The day to day lots lack grass somewhat as we go late in the year after all the business of tent and trailers covering the lots and a lot of oak trees but we're camping. Part of the experience. Campsites are irregularly sized, spaced and oriented and…read moresince it's almost all bare dirt, it's very difficult to identify where each begins and ends, resulting in people setting up and parking kinda wherever they want. Power poles are shared with four sites almost requiring that you have at least 50' of power cord to reach the one for your site. We had to switch sites twice before we got one that our standard 25' cord would reach. Only two dump drains and 2 bathhouses for 205 sites - not enough. Many sites with multiple vehicles, ORVs, boats, etc. so it's just extremely busy. Definitely not worth the nearly $62 a night it cost (includes $12 daily use fee, but not the $8 reservation fee) for electric only hookup. We won't stay here again.

A lot of companies would have just pocketed that money. The delivery was on time and accommodated a last minute site change (a different site within the campground).
