Excellent! Sites were extra large and paved. Very clean and well groomed. Pool area was very nice.

Our lot was plenty big and was clean when we arrived. They give you a program of all the activists happening during your time of stay which was great. I loved that they had fun things for the kids to do. The park is paved so you don't have to worry about dust kicking up every time a car goes by. I also loved that it was within walking distance to some really great shops, Craig's Cruisers and even a few restaurants. If you're in the Silver Lake area you should consider staying here. I think it would be fun even if you don't have kids.

Why are you allowing people with regular trailers book camping sites to just park there?? Create a bigger over flow lot. We stayed on site 143 a full hook up site. It SUCKED. I have a voltage protector I plug into the park power and it shut off our power at least 15 times during our 3 day stay. This was due to low voltage! That's insanely dangerous for the wiring and appliances in an rv. Most people don't have this device so they won't know if they're getting low voltage which could literally fry the wiring and/or cause a fire. The row of sites we stayed on gets power from an industrial generator! That's insane considering it couldn't even keep up with the power demands hence why our power sucked. Jellystone, please update this row of sites and run some real power lines to the park boxes. The amount of times we lost power was ridiculous and you should be embarrassed.

I like that they collect trash twice a day, you just need to put trash out next to your site number. They light up the site number so it was very easy to find out site when we got back in the dark. No alcohol campground so in general, it isn't noisy or loud, just people enjoy their time. Easy in and out as one way around campground. Has lots of things to do for little kid, they have rotating weekly schedule. My toddler loves the playground & big sandbox. We ate some ice cream too as a night treat. I definitely want to be back next year. Just one small thing to keep in mind: as a T mobile user, all of us don't have any cell service. The only place they have wifi is the Cove, so we took turn to spend a short time there to use wifi to keep in touch with family at home. We are okay with no wifi but it is a bit difficult with no cell service.

You will hear the laughter and cheers as children play throughout the day! While the pool was definitively the favorite spot of our 6 year old, there really were so many things to do in this campground. There were plenty of staff members to make sure everything was running smoothly. We would rank this as one of the top 5 campgrounds that we have stayed at!

We have always camped at Mears State Park...after camping at Whispering Surf this will be our first choice! First off the owners Jane and Andy and great! They are super nice, knowledgeable and want you to enjoy your stay while being respectful of other campers and their property. I was extremely impressed how they dealt with the Covid restrictions...We felt extremely safe and my family was able to enjoy our camping experience! First off, I don't know about you but my husband and I do not always communicate great when parking our camper...well forget about that at Whispering Surf....The Campground Host will guide you to your site and instruct the driver exactly which way to turn the wheel to get the camper parked on the site perfectly! This is AMAZING!!!! We love the full hookup! They come around twice a day and pick up your garbage from your campsite. They have an app they use called campers app in which you can order wood, ice, firewood, fire starters, Hershey Bar, marshmallows, graham crackers, and more...they they deliver the items to your site. They have a small mini golf course, and play ground however they were not used much due to Covid. This campground is VERY nice, VERY maintained but not fancy...it is perfect for us...we are camping. There is a little resort next door that rents very basic older pontoons for full or half day for very low prices. Which is great if you want to putter around bass lake. The people we have met at Whispering Surf have been kind, diverse and from all walks of life. Quiet hours are similar to most campgrounds, as long as your outside music is off and you can't be heard and aren't disturbing other campers it didn't seem to be problem for us to be out by our fire after quiet hours. We love this campground and plan on booking several spots for next season!

The outside and inside pools and water park area are excellent - the outdoor adult hot tub is A+. The grounds and sites are very clean and manicured with maturing landscaping. Many kids for mine to play with & they enforce kids curfew on the grounds at night and I personally think that is great. I find that RV parks that enforce their rules are better managed and I appreciate that. The video game room has allot gambling style games which I guess is what people like now - I maybe I am just old -lol. If anything critical - I would say the food service needs to improve or at least get better at managing expectations - been a year maybe it is better now - just has a general vibe of making stuff happen but no real attention to details.

I work remotely and did not have the time or energy to address the issues that morning and thought pictures and a timely e-mail would suffice. They are not doing anything at all to remedy the situation and made excuses for everything. "We just completed a two night stay in one of your cabins today. We have some major concerns. We stayed last fall and had a great experience. Told everyone about it and was excited to visit when the waterpark was open. My daughters 9th birthday was based around our stay there and a visit at Michigan Adventure. My son burned his leg on the vent under the window that gets extremely hot when the hot water heater is on. Early this morning we woke up to a burning smell. Our tote and hat were seared by the other vent under the window next to the pull-out. Our kids were so freaked out we never went back to sleep. It could have easily started a fire. There were other minor issues such as the waterpark closing early yesterday. It also closed early Monday because of the storms (which we understand) but we left MA to make it to the waterpark and it was shut down before the posted hours yesterday and the weather was fine. There were also several missing blinds throughout the cabin that allowed light in during the early morning hours. I understand little things happen here and there but the vent issues are a safety concern and we have never experienced anything like that. For the amount of money we paid for our two night stay, that is unacceptable. I've attached pictures for your reference."
