I was told that because my system was outdated, repairs would be difficult or impossible. Everything is now working perfectly. I highly recommend this company. They're wee upfront and honest.

I got quotes and presentations from 4 different vendors and the pitch and price was exactly the same - hour long presentation and a $30k cost. However, what each vendor tells you is that IF you qualify a $10k rebate is available and your net cost is $20k. Essentially the rebate is a scam - it just gives contractors the ability to inflate the prices and use the rebate to make the system sound cheaper than it really is. I finally met with McIver and he was able to simplify the entire process. He is not a Mass Save contractor. So he does not work the rebate, just offers a strait-up cost to install the system. When he gave me his quote, I quickly figured out that Dan McIver was an honest man and that the whole Mass Rebate program was a scam. His quote with the similar equipment and the same number of mini-splits was $13,500. I hired him for the job and they started within a week. One of my biggest concerns was esthetics - I was worried about too many refrigeration lines running around the outside of the house. Our house is a rental property in Cape Cod that had a lot of charm to it and we did not want to ruin the integrity of it. Dan came up with a brilliant solution and was able to run most of the lines through the basement to minimize the lines on the outside of the house - we were so pleased with this solution. His team did a fantastic job building out the system - they were clean and finished the project on the timeline he quoted. The work was high quality!! Net is that Dan took a very complicated buying process and made it simple and affordable. He is highly recommended for the quality of his work, pricing and his honest and straightforward approach!

They sent the most unqualified person I've ever met in my life. She told me that she had to shut my heat off immediately due to high levels of co2, and we should evacuate immediately. I asked her not to shut my heat off because my pipes would freeze and she said "you should be good". I called Anthony and he dropped everything, came right over and challenged everything she had told us. It was very clear to me within 1 minute of him showing up that this girl had no clue what she was talking about and she scurried out as fast as she could. Anthony checked everything and reassured us that everything was in working order and running fine. He refused to let me send him any money. My husband and I are so grateful to have a plumber and hvac person that we can trust and doesn't take advantage. It is clear he stands by his work and knows what he's doing! Problem: My 2nd floor AC was running non-stop, air was weak and didn't feel cold enough. I enquired via Yelp and Craig responded right away, he suggested what it could be and turned out he was actually spot on. He happened to be in the area and showed up within 1hr (more like 30mins). As soon as Craig got here, he basically hit the road running. Started the diagnosis and fix the problem right away. Before he left he checked my freon level (which was quite low) and suggested I could use some freon and sealant. This all makes sense cause over last 2 years our AC has become less and less cold. He also let me know my AC warranty should be for 5yrs and I will definitely contact the manufacture for the previous issues other AC engineer had fixed in the past, hopefully can get some reimbursement. Craig is very professional, honest and doesn't over charge. I will definitely call him for all my AC service and issue going forward. Am passing his info to my neighbors.
