I can honestly say w/o a doubt Liz Ginsberg was the best bartender hands down. The one here now are slow and forget way to often.

I love spicy food. Spent 30 years of my life in TX and NM. Then moved to West TN. So I have had…read moresome Hot Chicken and really spicy food. We ordered three meals. Light, Dark and naked wings. I will start with sides. The greens, better than I ever had including AL, MS, LA and TN. Slaw was classic LA. Good, I am vinger slaw guy. Now for the chicken. First and foremost the medium is no joke HOT. Anyone can make something hot. But the flavor of the hotness is world class. Whatever they do, (brine whatever) the flavor is deep in the meat, including the breast. Absolutely fantastic. My only advice is if you find a raw jalapeno to hot, go one level down in spice. Unless you can set an eat raw Serranos, don't pay .$50 to go spicier. Who would have thought, amazing hot chicken, Indy.

The…read moreother four people I was with got "medium" and "medium plus" (they are hot sauce / heat lovers) and they all hated the food. It honestly hurt to see all that chicken go directly into the garbage, but they claim it was inedible. Since it's not a saucy type of flavoring, but a dry rub, they said that the heat was painful, and not flavorful. Back to the sandwich I enjoyed... I felt that there was a sweetness to the flavor that I liked, which I could see not everyone enjoying. There is also a hot dusting over the french fries which exacerbates any discomfort people are having from the heat. There really wasn't anything to cool it down. The macaroni and cheese was piping hot, although not spicy.

Eaten here twice over the last few years when in the area. You wouldn't know it from the outside…read moreas it looks like a strip mall, but inside is a 2 story space with an open middle upstairs and an old-school ceiling above. Others may not care, but I think it is unique and a pretty cool atmosphere. I was meeting my wife and I arrived first. The hostess promptly took me to a table in the upstairs corner. Sadly, when my wife arrived about a minute later, they left her to fend for herself to find me. All good. Our server, Conner, promptly came to the table and took our orders as well as checked in on us throughout the meal. Only negative was that he brought our check toward the end of the meal when my wife was interested in ordering a dessert. He did ask we wanted anything else after I signed the receipt, but the moment had kind of passed at that point. They pride themselves on their wide variety of beverage options. Their menu is extensive, although it lacks actual pricing in it. I selected a Founders Hazelnut Stout (12.75). It was unique and I enjoyed it, just not sure it was worth the cost. My wife chose a cider (8.75), but sadly all of their cider options were sweet and she prefers dry, so it wasn't her favorite. I ordered a Hot Brown (12.99) just for something different, but exchanged what would have been bagged chips for their in-house made chips (2.99). Hot Brown was a large portion, although a little one note in flavor, which may very well be the nature of the dish. My wife ordered the Mahi Tacos (14.49), which were 3 decently sized tacos with good flavor. Not sure my wife is as enthused by the place as I am, but it's a nice local joint with character that serves decent food at a reasonable price.

They had a DJ playing music and were hosting bingo at the same time, so it was a lively, high-energy atmosphere. The staff was friendly, which I appreciated. Our waitress was especially accommodating. My son ordered a BLT not realizing what it was, and she had no problem letting him switch to a chicken sandwich. The menu is pretty large with lots of options. I ordered 10 buffalo wings and asked for them extra crispy, they did come out crispy, which I liked, but the buffalo sauce was just okay to me, nothing special. My husband ordered the patty melt with fries and said it was good. I tried some of the fries and really liked them. We also got cheese curds as an appetizer, and those were pretty good. My husband was a little disappointed they didn't have Mango Cart, so he went with a Blue Moon with an orange instead. This is a fun, casual spot with a lively vibe, good service, and solid food options, especially if you're looking for a place that's family-friendly but still has that bar energy with lots of food options on the menu.
