When I returned to the store a few days later hoping to exchange it, I was initially told that an exchange wasn't possible since it had been used. I later spoke with Julie G., the general manager, and she was very helpful. She allowed me to return on December 31, 2025, and exchange the flat iron for one that better suits my needs. I even made a blog about how hard it was to find black owned beauty supply places with black owned products. When I stumbled onto this place, I saw a black woman at the front working on some things. She greeted me when I came in, I asked her if it was a Black Owned business just to be sure and she said it was. I had just come from another beauty supply place so I didn't need anything but I got some sheen. The I proceeded to go on Instagram and Facebook to talk about it. I think she said they have been there for a year and a lot of people didn't know about it. Likely because the gym that was there is gone. They are a small business and I think we need to support them so that they can get more products, preferably black owned products.
