Customer service by pharmacy tech sucked. Small petite dark skinned young woman was rude and clearly doesn't have a customer service bone in her body. I complained to the young manager and it didn't seem of any urgency to her to correct the issue either. Maybe I should try CVS next door going forward. read more

Don't even THINK about having a Fedex box delivered here for pickup. They have NO organized system.

Yes the lines can be a bit long and slow sometimes but the customer service is awesome! This is a Pharmacy and they do sell a few extras Snacks, candy, drinks, batteries ect. Holidays they sell seasonal items as well. The cashiers are always friendly and go out of their way to make you feel like they have known you for ages. I like this, they are nice to the elderly and cater to them if they forget something. Worth the wait at the register. Store is clean, they have security and that's a plus because it's not in the nicest area and the guard is always at the front door. My only complaint is the pharmacy, they aren't as helpful as the other staff. I don't go there anymore anyways I stick to the Pork Rinds that they sell that I can't get anywhere else! read more

I called the pharmacy to inquire about my mom's prescription. I am in VA, she's in MD. Her nursing home is on lockdown because of COVID-19. So, I wanted to get her meds delivered and inquired to see if they were ready. They were, and the technician told me they would go to her tomorrow after 3. Then, they mentioned that the meds didn't go out before because she didn't have a credit card. To make sure mom got her meds, I gave her my cc number. Then Aria (the tech/pharmacist) inquired about Medicare part D which was expired. So she told me how to get it renewed. Because this was after hours, she took the extra few minutes and found a code or something to make my mom's Rx cheaper. This, in my mind, is going above and beyond with the Service. I hope the manager sees this and gives her a raise--she deserves it with everything everyone is going through--especially pharmacies. Thank you SO much, Aria!! I use other walgreens locations in Va . I expected the same level of service and professionalism. So far on more than two occasions each time I've gone to get prescriptions at this particular location there has been a issue. 1st time I dropped my prescription off because it always takes this location 45 min at least. (Other Walgreens Can have them ready in 20 min or less)They have my phone number yet they couldn't call me to say they didn't have the medicine and it would take two days to order, they just waited for me to return expecting to pick up my medicine. 2nd time my doctor called in a prescription for me 4 days later I went to pick it up and they tell me that the dosage is high and they need to call and verify it with the doctor who sent it in. What !!!! Well when were you gonna do that ? totally unprofessional The other visits I won't bother to detail but they were less than satisfactory also.I will continue to drive 14 miles out of my way to VA to get professional ,courteous and expedited service. read more

Although I literally live within walking distance from this location and I would love to be able to say it's not neighborhood pharmacy but it isn't. During the past 4 visits, employees have either been cursing in front of customers, aimlessly wandering around or had an attitude when doing simple tasks like ringing customers up. You know, their job. The pharmacy is less than desirable; the pharmacy manager is rude and fails to even make an attempt to explain anything about medication. It was so dismissive that I filed a complaint with the Maryland Board of Pharmacy because of my concerns about his ethics. Sadly, I think they hire staff who aren't concerned about good customer service. It's much easier just to drive into Virginia - much better customer service and much more professionalism. CVS across the street may be better as well. read more

This location has to be the slowest ever. There is always a wait in the drive-thru and inside. The convenience of going in the drive thru is thrown out of the window because you might as well go inside and wait. Every time I have to go there I end up putting my car in park. They've asked me on several occasions to drive around again after waiting to have to wait again for a Rx. I've even asked the pharmacy manager if they're hiring because they need help! I will refer several people there just to help them out. read more

He continued laughing and talking with a young woman for another 10 minutes. As another employee approached me the manager acknowledged me. The other employee completed my transaction. read more
