I wish they would have never closed the location at 7008 Marlboro Pike! This location is not well kept. Looks like it is constantly under construction, the outside is trashy and pharmacy experience is never good. Staff is rude except for one day young lady with short hair that is a different color almost everytime I come. (Smile). But she is the only highlight of this location and I think that's because she was originally from the other location. Because of my negative experiences here I have decided to take my pharmacy needs to CVS. read more

The Walgreens pharmacy team has never picked up the phone in almost a year of being transferred to this location since Marlboro Pike location closed. The only thing you will hear is the voice recorded message saying.."Were sorry a staff is answering other calls please hold on and We will be with you shortly".. LIES LIES LIES!!! No on will pick up and everyone's not capable of coming into the store, so many elderly patients are in need of your assistance sometimes with just a phone call.. Please for the sake of the community fix this problem and raise the level of the customer experience to satisfactory because this is very unsatisfactory. read more

Attitude and grief from every employee encountered, from pharmacy to store cashiers to the floor help. No one can do their job, will walk away from register if it's time for their break, doesn't matter how many customers are in line. Is this Walgreens owned by the employees or is it a front for the mob? I've never run into this at any other Walgreens in the United States read more

Please Do Not use this store for Perscriptions!!! They have received my request two weeks ago and have not prepared the medication for pick up, or answered the phone. I drive from DC to Montgomery County and have sat on hold for hours for over a week. Called to Dr to move it to U st and now the are saying I have to pay out of pocket because it shows they filled it even though the automated system says it's not ready. Terrible BTW read more

Staff needs to improve; no one should be rejected for dropping off their FedEx package ...the lady says she doesn't have room for any more packages. The line is long and they are understaffed read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would. They don't communicate anything to patients, if there is any issue with your prescription, they won't say anything until you give them a call, if you're lucky enough to get through. I'm writing this review as I'm standing here in front of the pharmacy. I called two days ago and the person told me to call tomorrow to run the prescription. I called the next day to run it, they told me on the phone, "your insurance went through. It should be ready by 5pm". Well it wasn't ready at 5pm, the app said "out of stock, should be ready the next day by 5:45pm". It wasn't ready the next day so I decided to call, after waiting for 20 mins, someone finally answered. I gave them my name and they said hold on, I then waited for another 10 mins, then the phone started to ring, then it hung up. I called back and also decided to go to the store since it's so close to me. I called back and been on hold for now 30 mins. I'm on hold while also waiting for my prescription, I told the lady my name and she's preparing it right now. No one has never answered the phone since I've been here, literally in front of them. As I'm standing here I also receive a notification that my prescription is being processed via the Walgreens app, two mins later, I get a call and a notification from the app saying that it's ready to be picked up. I hung up at the 33 min mark. This is ridiculous, these people need some serious customer service training. They aren't nasty people, fairly nice tbh. But the customer service is the bottom of the barrel. GET THIS DAMN PLACE SOME HELP! read more

If I could give no stars I would! The Pharmacy is extremely unprofessional and customers/patients are NOT their priority. I came in for a vaccine, and was told I had to make an appointment.. I made the appointment, went a few minutes early just for the young man to ask his supervisor if she "felt like doing vaccines" just for her to act as if they were all out. She then told me (the supervisor) to come back two days later but call first to make sure they have them... WHAT IS THE POINT OF THE APPOINTMENT? Horrible service with 2 hour delivery!!!I picked and paid for two hour delivery online and didn't receive my order until the next day and when I tried to get in contact with Walgreens they gave me the run around. Then when they emailed me asking for a review and I told the truth they rejected my review. This company really needs to get it together. The two stars is for the new and improved interior of the store. It looks clean and in proper shape compared to how it used to look. The lack of 3 stars is because of the pharmacy. It is extremely slow! Even when there are minimum to no customers. It's the reason I snapped my doctor for sending my prescription to this one when the forest like location is nearest to me. read more

The Walgreens in Landover Road is the worst. You should have a choice on receiving a hard copy receipt or receiving it digitally. Within minutes of realizing I made the wrong purchase I tried to exchange an item. I couldn't exchange it because I didn't have a receipt. The guy that waited on me was making a purchase in another line. I acknowledged him and asked did he remember me because I didn't get a receipt. He said yes and left. The person waiting on him is now waiting on me. I explained the situation and said that this was my first time at Walgreens. I was informed after the fact that you have to look at a screen and confirm within a short period of time if you want a hard copy. If you don't it goes to your email. What is the time frame of this because it wasn't in my email and the amount was already taken from my account. I was informed by the store that within minutes of making a purchase there was nothing they could do to get a copy of my receipt. The customer service has a lot to be desired and could definitely use retraining and how to retrieve receipts. read more

This is literally the worst Walgreens I have ever been to! Customer service is mediocre at best.

This location will have 3 people behind the counter and one person at the register and will not wait on the drive thru line. The drive thru line has not worked since they became Walgreens. They were Rite aid. Very long waits. Very rude people. There is one older lady who is very polite and tries to help people out. Someone has to do something in these times. read more
