    Campground from lake at night

We love staying here! Such a cool atmosphere and great food at the restaurant! Only things that's a little annoying is that if you have a stay booked and there is a natural disaster they won't give you a refund. they will ask you to reschedule instead. I think it's a little unjust and unpractical.

However, the main campground is much more wooded and pleasant (though the sites are still very close to each other.) I'd give it a 4 if we had stayed there. Pros: electricity, water and sewer were available at the site. The camp also has a pool (closed during these covid times), a small store, a restaurant, and it also looked like they sell propane on site though we didn't buy any. The park is in reasonable proximity to both Bumping Lake and Chinook Pass to the west and Naches and Yakima to the east. Cons: as I said, small sites and the overflow area was quite ugly. Also the men's bathroom is secured with a sliding chain safety lock which allows the door to open a bit before it engages. This allows someone outside to see you sitting in the throne when someone else tries to open the door. I don't know if the women's bathroom is the same way, but whoever thought that kind of lock was appropriate for a bathroom with no stalls or other privacy screens needs to try it once or twice and see how it feels. The price seemed pretty standard for RV parks with full hookups.

I appreciate the analog vibe and lack of digital appliances and televisions - it's a perfect place to retreat from our technology-saturated lives. I stayed here with my dog so I appreciate that El Nido is pet-friendly as well. Tieton is a wonderful, quiet farming town--not a place to visit if you need a lot of entertainment like bars, clubs, and theaters--but offers some great food, especially Don Mateo and Santos Bakery, and a small but lively arts scene on Fridays and Saturdays. There are some great hiking trails within a short 15-20 minute drive from town. This is a place I plan to return to as often to experience the peaceful vibe and the change of seasons on the sunnier side of the state. Thanks El Nido!

Newly renovated, clean and fully equipped with kitchen and bath stuff. No TV but good WiFi. The Hosts (Anne and Nick) were super friendly and helpful making sure that we had firewood for the fire pit, setting up a propane heater for an additional warm outside spot. The cabins are close to several nice hikes and a couple of decent restaurants in town. I'd stay here again in a flash.

I had a single tall jack daniels and coke, which was delicious. The bartender was generous with the pour. All the food here is made to order and came out hot, fresh, and filling. I highly recommend the squatch burger. It is half a pound of ground beef with an egg on top. It was exactly what my husband needed after our adventure. My son raved about the flavor in his pizza. He said the crust itself tasted different than other pizzas and he loved it. They go heavy on the sauce. I enjoyed my shredded chicken nachos with freshly sliced jalapeños. Their jojos were gigantic! Try it with their fry sauce. Come eat here when you're in the area. You will not be disappointed!

It really didn't bother anyone in our party because we hadn't had phone service for days so with their WIFI, we caught up on our texts and emails. The prices are extremely reasonable and portions are HUGE! $7 Prosecco and $18 Chicken Fried Steak which my husband and I shared. The sausage gravy appeared a little off putting at first but it tasted great! The chicken was crunchy delicious. The taters were ok and the eggs were great! 8/10 for that dish. My mother in law loved her eggs Benedict and had 0 complaints. But she doesn't usually complain. She did finish her plate! 10/10. The bathrooms are excellent here too but always busy as there is only 1 toilet in each bathroom. 10/10. Drinks were inexpensive and tasty!!! I'd definitely come here again the next time we are here camping. And again the service was phenomenal. Really friendly quick helpful staff.

Unfortunately, after repeated experiences, it simply does not. As someone who frequently travels and dines at upscale restaurants and banquets, I can confidently say that what is marketed as refined here does not align with what is delivered. On multiple occasions, we found long dark hairs in our food -- including in my children's mac and cheese. This was not a one-time oversight. It became a pattern. Even more concerning, management-level staff with very long dark hair were consistently seen delivering food without it properly secured. When basic food safety standards appear optional at the leadership level, it speaks volumes. Beyond that, service execution is disorganized. Tables are crowded, and we repeatedly received incomplete settings or missing items -- condiments, steak knives, and at times portions of the meal itself. These are elementary details for any restaurant, let alone one positioning itself as upscale. The only bright spot was one blonde server named Sandi who handled the situation with professionalism and composure. She demonstrated the level of service the restaurant claims to embody. What ultimately makes the experience untenable is the atmosphere created by the head chef audibly yelling tickets and shouting at staff throughout service. A dining room should feel polished and controlled -- not chaotic and tense. After giving this establishment many opportunities to improve, we have decided not to return. High-end dining is not about price points or aesthetics -- it is about consistency, leadership, and standards. Those fundamentals are currently lacking here. Gorgeous place nonetheless.

I got it on my birthday instead of nookie and it took 10 days of medical treatment to expunge. I reported it to the health dept and they just repeated what the hotel told them about pH balance and sanitary levels. I spent three hours in a tub without a staffer taking levels. In Palm Springs, it is on the clock hourly. 2) in the snow tubing area, which was vast, I flew into a frozen pond and broke through to what smelled liked raw sewage, Suncadia reports it's just water run off. It was not quite "It's a Wonderful Life" traumatizing... but it's the first thing I remember about my birthday... even over the UTI that prevented me from making love to my husband for two weeks. 3) My gift was left in the room but never reported as missing. My only birthday gift this year. 4) Suncadia is a total cheap repelicant of rich people resorts. I don't want to go to those places because I detest rich people. However Suncadia is simple and overwhelmed, like the Vegas version of the Eiffel tower instead of the real Effiel tower.
