My wife walked down to the site and saw it was really unlevel, and the back 15 feet just fell off. Gravel was dumped but not spread out, with no attention paid to where it went. The trees were so tight on every side of it, and at the site, there is just no way of either getting to it or getting into it with any safety. When we showed the pictures to the teenage girls running the office/store/restaurant, they said there were pictures of the site online, and we should have seen the way it was. There is one picture, and it's from a low level, looking back at a lake that was full years ago. Tried to explain that we could NOT get there safely, they said no refunds, and there are no other sites. We never PICKED that site; it was assigned by a manager months earlier when we made the reservation and explained what we had for a trailer. This was Labor Day weekend. We had to leave and try to find a different place at a moment's notice. No refund period at this place. Stay away. Unless you want a forest floor drive, Tree roots and all, and rude customer service. They had fly tape hanging by the bed that you needed to walk past to get into bed. the vent above the stove was dirty and greasy and hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Housekeeping needs to do a better job at cleaning way too many cobwebs. I know it's a cabin in the woods and not a 5-star hotel but good lord some care in the property would be nice. I sent an email and the response I received from Shar was I have addressed this with housekeeping and maintenance. Would have been nice for her to mention sorry your stay wasn't as nice as before but it's obvious they don't care. Please stay elsewhere and don't waste your money.

We're more camp where we can see the car and have a bathroom around type people. This definitely trends towards the latter. This little campground is about 17 miles past Bron Yr Aur in Naches and is an absolute gem of a spot. Upon checking in, you find they have a small store with plenty of food and beverage options. They have spots for tent camping, cabins with beds, and plenty of RV parking. We went up here for a friends birthday weekend and opted for one of the small cabins. It was named "mamas place "and was lovely. The cabins are newly renovated and have small kitchenette's, a nice TV, And most importantly were warm! The two that we saw in so I did not have bathrooms, but there is a shared central bathroom and shower house that's close to everything, and is also heated! On the grounds, they have a small beach area where the kids could go throw rocks in the River and during the summertime everyone is able to get into the water to cool off. They have tons of play equipment for kids to run around and play on, some awesome area for people to ride 4 x 4's if they brought them, and they even have a meadow type area where they hold weddings. It's incredibly picturesque with the river in the background and the cliffs behind it. Go out there at night and check out what they called the fire flies - a bunch of lights set up in the meadow the dance on the trees. It's pretty awesome! You are just close enough to be able to run into town for something you forgot, but also far enough away that your cell phone isn't going off all the time because the reception is bad. This is actually about as close to perfect spot as we've been, and we're really excited to go back!

I stopped in both times in hopes of indulging on an espresso drink in the afternoon hours and have been utterly disappointed and heartbroken when I parked, went inside, and was greeted with a sign that declared that the espresso stand was closed. I am very unhappy that there appears to be no one available to operate and serve espresso either time I have taken the time to stop in. The lodge looks like a nice place but I feel that it is very deceptive to advertise espresso so prominently outside and not have it available for customers. I'm really uncertain if I will ever take the time to stop in for anything at this point after being so disappointed.

We made reservations early in the week, but it was a bit too late for this popular hotel. We had to…read morehave a different room each night...which was fine by us as long as we were able to stay there. The first night, we were in Suite B (2 queens). It was spacious and smelled clean and the beds were comfortable. It was a bit odd, that we had to push the bed away from the bathroom entrance to be able to close the bathroom door. The bathroom was quite large, but lacked a place to sit clothing or toiletry bags near the tub. There was also an odd racking system above the toilet that ran along the wall above the water heater which made it feel a little cramped. There was a mini fridge, microwave, and a dining room table and chairs in the room. We had access to the roadside and the back parking lot which was quite convenient. We were able to park our motorcycles in the back lot away from prying eyes and hands. The AC/heater unit worked great and was a steady fan noise that was calming at night. Overall, this room was simple, but quite comfortable. Our second night, we had the New Orleans room (1 king). It was large, smelled clean and had fluffy towels that smelled freshly laundered. It also had a balcony that overlooks Main Street which was super cool. It had a bar/counter area which as great for placing our belongings on. There was a mini fridge or microwave in the room, but I cannot remember which... The bathroom had a large Jacuzzi tub and shower in it. This was from another review, but was exactly spot on, so I am using it also..."The only downside is that the placement of the shower head and the proximity of the tub to the toilet, made it challenging to wash your hair (or otherwise lift your arms) without spraying water on the toilet paper." The tub and toilet were so close to each other that you kind of have to swing your legs in to position rather than walking into position. You may actually want to sit sideways on the toilet... There is no shower curtain and water was going everywhere, so while I was showering, my husband held a towel up to try and prevent getting water on everything (even though it is a tiled room) and then I did the same for him when he showered. The AC/heater unit worked great and was a steady fan noise that was calming at night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this QUIET PEACEFUL hotel and we will stay there again to avoid staying in Yakima. The check out/in process was simple. The rooms were simple and clean. The owners are kind, helpful, and polite and their dog Tony is a lover!! If you are looking for the Hilton or even a Comfort Inn this is not your place. The Sticky Fingers bakery which they also own/run is FANTASTIC!! While in town, we enjoyed dining at Van's Tavern and Nier the Nook as well. They are all in the same block as the hotel and we had great experiences at each. If you are in the mood, there is also a taproom on the same road, but we did not make it there on our visit.

The woman answered the bell and agreed to show me her rooms and told me the price. 86 bucks later we found ourselves in a dated but clean and nice smelling room. Comfortable beds with good quality bedding were a nice surprise and we were tired so we went to sleep. In the morning we made some hotel provided coffee (very good) and enjoyed it at a cafe style table with real coffee cups and cloth napkins silverware. The towels were fluffy and heavy and the complimentary soaps and shampoos were great. For the money the amenities here far surpassed any I have experienced in hotels at twice the price. Great little find we highly recommend it.

The bedding was top notch, the bed exceptionally comfortable, and the standard of room and property maintenance could not be faulted.
