We located this RV park online as they had availability for arrival on a Thursday/departure on a Friday. Contact was made and it went extremely well as they were very knowledgeable and recommended the best way to maneuver our long 5th wheel into a spot that was adjacent to the pond. It was super easy to find. Layout was well planned out. The spots were plentiful. The pond is amazing for dogs. The pathways around the park - including to the Yakima River were well kept. The facilities were great and their store is one of the best I've ever been in. Highly recommend this park! We will be back

There is a large pond in the park that you can use for calm water activities. Our grandsons had a blast making friends, cycling and paddle boarding. There is plenty to do right here at Whispering Pines. There is a bounce pad, two nice playgrounds, a dog area, and as I mentioned before, the pond. The sites are large, level and nestled amongst the trees. There is plenty of wildlife for your viewing enjoyment. The park does have many rules in place for everyone's safety; and they do drive around in their little carts to enforce them. *Mind your manners and you shouldn't have any problems.

When they failed to give us the spot we paid and expected to have, they said the owner had precedence and the owner came back, so therefore we got put in a shittier spot. They did deduct a few bucks. Overall, not a great stay for us. Addendum: I can't remember the lot#, but it had an in-ground outdoor fire pit. The person who checked us in said if the owner comes back, then the guests get bumped to a different site, without even informing us prior to our 4 hr trip. It was disappointing,because there wasn't anything said about this when we booked the site. It felt shady. Nonetheless, will not return. My husband is now bleeding all over his arm and wrist. His wrist is now sprained because of the fall and his shoe has a hole in it where the dog had grabbed him. He went straight to the office who immediately said they were NOT responsible. My daughter is an Attorney and dissagrees. They WILL have to deal with it one way or another. This place is a dive in a bad location with homeless everywhere and now this. At least we met some nice people from. Yakima who were very nice and fun to talk to. ​We will try to focus on that. A police report has been filed!

The parking is horrible and if you have a large Rv or motorhome then it is nearly impossible to get in and out. The pool was amazing. Now for the major crappy part.... We where trying to leave the park with a 42ft trailer and asked the neighbor nicely if they could move their extra vehicle. This person was rude about having to move and then when she wanted to come back to her "parking spot" she dropped some major F-bombs at me. Needless to say, we won't be coming back.

We had planned to stay at this rv park, as it has good ratings and is advertised pet friendly…read more However, when we arrived in town and phoned in to pay, we were asked if we had any pets. We said yes, one dog. They asked what breed, and we replied that she's a mixed breed. We were asked if there was any Pitt in her, which there obviously is, so we said yes. They have a zero Pitt bull policy. No other breed. Doesn't matter if they are a mix, and the most gentle creature. In six years, traveling all over Oregon, Washington and Idaho, this was a first for us. Fortunately the other nearby rv parks aren't so ignorant.
