Tim and Julie have made this campground feel like home. The location is gorgeous and kids both big and little will love it here. They also play movies in the theater at night, have bonfires, and a magical firefly show that is breathtaking.

We happened upon this magical place by chance (thanks to Yelp!) Tim (the owner)- great guy who loves making people smile! This is his dream and he has more planned in the future! We had a great time at this fabulous Campground Look forward to future visits!

I have been here a few times and it gets better each time. Tim and Julie run a beautiful campground that can accommodate anyone and their camping preference (cabin, RV, tent) A quick drive the Boulder Cave (when its open so check before you go due to state restrictions) and also not far from Rimrock Lake if you want water play for the day. The campground is homey and lit up beautifully throughout. Pet friendly as well. Give them a call and make a reservation to see what it is all about.

We spent one night here as part of a trip to mount rainier. Had I known how much I would love this place I would have planned to stay more than 1 night. We rented one of the cabins ("granny's pad" with good proximity to bathroom/showers) but I know they also have RV spots and a meadow for tent camping. You can tell the owners truly care and have a lot invested in the happiness of their guests. This was as comfortable of a cabin experience as one can get. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness/quality of the restroom and shower facilities- way better and more comfortable than other campgrounds we have stayed at. They also have lots of games: corn hole, ladders, horseshoes, board games in the cabin. Kids and adults alike would definitely be entertained. There is a little mini grocery on site so you can get firewood for the fire pit and marshmallows for roasting, or just stock up on beer. On our way out the one of the owners (Tim) gave us a hand written map for finding our way around rainier and restaurant reco for the drive back to Seattle. Great people! Can't wait to go back.

We stayed there this weekend with a group of friends. This campground is worth visiting if only to meet the owners, Tim and Julie. They were fabulous! Tim was very helpful getting parked at my site. I'm a rank beginner when it comes to trailer parking, and I'd consider all the sites here to be advanced. Tim directed me with such finesse I was parked before I could get stressed. The kids had a great time zipping around on the golf cart for hours each evening with Tim driving like a loony at the wheel. He also gave them rides on his 1958 tractor. There's movies in the barn in the evenings, and "fireflies" in the trees. The campground is right on the river and we spent many hours out there relaxing with our feet soaking in the water. They playground and games were nice, and there was a complete outdoor kitchen set up as well. A few friends stayed in the cabins, all of which have a background story and are nicely appointed and quite cute. I am not giving 5 stars due to the 2 following things: 1. There is only 1 bathhouse with 2 toilets and 2 showers. With over 100 people camping there over the weekend, there was usually a line for both throughout the day. 2. They have a strange policy of charging PER tent, even if you've already paid for an RV site. I'm sure the policy was designed to limit the number of campers at a site, but I would much prefer a policy that actually does that. Limit the site to 6 people, or charge extra after 4 people, or charge for extra cars, not per tent. The currently policy rather unfairly discriminates against those of us who own small trailers (or small tents), when many larger RV's easily sleep 8-10 and they would not be charged extra. Luckily my friends paid for the tent this time, but if we go camping without friends, we will need to look elsewhere as I can't afford to pay for a tent and an RV site, and I'm not about to camp without my kids bringing a friend (which still only puts us at 6 people).

We had the whole venue booked for the wedding party and guest with RVs Friday through Sunday with ample room for the bridal party in two separate sleeping quarters. The ladies 1890 log cabin was cute and cozy and had lots of original character. The modern bunkhouse was open and airy and great for the groomsmen. The property has lots of parking for both guests for the day of and space for weekend RV guests. This venue has the most amazing green lawn area for an outdoor ceremony with mountain view woth a few different arch options for the alter should you choose to use one. A herd of deer even payed a visit each evening throughout the weekend. The bar and outdoor reception areas provide plenty of space and the barn for indoor festivities is spacious and beautiful. The best part of renting this venue, was working with John and Kathy. They are a mother son duo and they made the whole weekend run so smoothly and stress and worry free. They took care of all the behind the scenes details and were amazing to work with. It made my job as Mother of the Bride relaxing and enjoyable. I was able to soak in every minute and spend quality time with my daughter making this big event in her life the best ever. I would highly recommend checking this venue out if you are willing to travel from the west side of the mountains to this eastern Washington gem of a destination. We got so many compliments from our guests about this venue. John and Kathy, thank you so much for making this weekend extra special for our daughter and son in law, our families and our guests! We appreciate everything you did for us!

I have been reading about Mighty Tieton four years and finally had the opportunity to come out here…read morefor a dinner with the bite club. The concept behind the space is both cool and ambitious, and after seeing yet it's the sort of spot that belongs in any small town! This is an old cold storage warehouse that has been transformed into a meeting space, art gallery and a number of small business spaces. The space is really creative and impressively laid out. More impressive however is the fact that this business incubation space from a town of a few thousand has already produced a number of businesses that now employ people all over the state. The area with the art displays is relatively small but houses some really cool photography, multiple media art and more modern art that I admittedly am not smart enough to understand! Throughout the year, they have very impressive displays that have come from all of the world. Not the sort of thing you'd expect in a town the size! The larger conference room area is simple, very versatile and ultimately captures the essence of the area perfectly. Flanked by fruit pallets andlarge doorways that lead into old cold storage rooms, it's as beautiful as it is simple. One of the cooler pieces is also located in this room. It's a simple large metal ball housed on a circular metal track that is nearly continuously going around on the track. It was one of those things that we didn't appreciate when it started, but by the end of the night we found it to be very relaxing. Strange, especially for somebody who doesn't generally appreciate art, but by the end of the night we were trying to figure out if there was a way to get one at our house. The dinner that was housed here was incredible and without going into details of the food, we all felt like the atmosphere created by this unique local spot really heightened the experience. Mighty Tieton is complete proof that you don't have to be a big city to have a unique space that works as a business incubator and has a really cool gathering spot. A+ on this beautifully done space in the mighty town of Tieton, WA!
