We located this RV park online as they had availability for arrival on a Thursday/departure on a Friday. Contact was made and it went extremely well as they were very knowledgeable and recommended the best way to maneuver our long 5th wheel into a spot that was adjacent to the pond. It was super easy to find. Layout was well planned out. The spots were plentiful. The pond is amazing for dogs. The pathways around the park - including to the Yakima River were well kept. The facilities were great and their store is one of the best I've ever been in. Highly recommend this park! We will be back

There is a large pond in the park that you can use for calm water activities. Our grandsons had a blast making friends, cycling and paddle boarding. There is plenty to do right here at Whispering Pines. There is a bounce pad, two nice playgrounds, a dog area, and as I mentioned before, the pond. The sites are large, level and nestled amongst the trees. There is plenty of wildlife for your viewing enjoyment. The park does have many rules in place for everyone's safety; and they do drive around in their little carts to enforce them. *Mind your manners and you shouldn't have any problems.

When they failed to give us the spot we paid and expected to have, they said the owner had precedence and the owner came back, so therefore we got put in a shittier spot. They did deduct a few bucks. Overall, not a great stay for us. Addendum: I can't remember the lot#, but it had an in-ground outdoor fire pit. The person who checked us in said if the owner comes back, then the guests get bumped to a different site, without even informing us prior to our 4 hr trip. It was disappointing,because there wasn't anything said about this when we booked the site. It felt shady. Nonetheless, will not return. The parking is horrible and if you have a large Rv or motorhome then it is nearly impossible to get in and out. The pool was amazing. Now for the major crappy part.... We where trying to leave the park with a 42ft trailer and asked the neighbor nicely if they could move their extra vehicle. This person was rude about having to move and then when she wanted to come back to her "parking spot" she dropped some major F-bombs at me. Needless to say, we won't be coming back.

We have a 44-foot…read moretoy hauler, and have learned over the years that we just don't go to the site with the truck/trailer if the road looks a bit scary. My wife walked down to the site and saw it was really unlevel, and the back 15 feet just fell off. Gravel was dumped but not spread out, with no attention paid to where it went. The trees were so tight on every side of it, and at the site, there is just no way of either getting to it or getting into it with any safety. When we showed the pictures to the teenage girls running the office/store/restaurant, they said there were pictures of the site online, and we should have seen the way it was. There is one picture, and it's from a low level, looking back at a lake that was full years ago. Tried to explain that we could NOT get there safely, they said no refunds, and there are no other sites. We never PICKED that site; it was assigned by a manager months earlier when we made the reservation and explained what we had for a trailer. This was Labor Day weekend. We had to leave and try to find a different place at a moment's notice. No refund period at this place. Stay away. Unless you want a forest floor drive, Tree roots and all, and rude customer service. We camped at Silver Beach Resort in a Fifth Wheel.

They had fly tape hanging by the bed that you needed to walk past to get into bed. the vent above the stove was dirty and greasy and hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Housekeeping needs to do a better job at cleaning way too many cobwebs. I know it's a cabin in the woods and not a 5-star hotel but good lord some care in the property would be nice. I sent an email and the response I received from Shar was I have addressed this with housekeeping and maintenance. Would have been nice for her to mention sorry your stay wasn't as nice as before but it's obvious they don't care. Please stay elsewhere and don't waste your money.

A pool, a playground, a large covered area, a fenced dog park - complete with a variety of hydrants for when nature calls for the pups and activities there. I didn't test the WiFi but there are two available from the park that had decent signal strength had we wanted to indulge. It was a lovely little place.
