This place is the best bagel place I've ever been to - I'm from the Jersey Shore, I've lived in Brooklyn and Manhattan, I know my bagels. Not only is it good, they can handle rush-hour in the peak season. They are equipped for big orders and fast, plenty of seating and also great for online ordering for delivery or takeout. read more

Silver Bay Bagels - New Yorker, bread gutted - Bagels Near Me - Toms River, New Jersey

Silver Bay Bagels is a cozy bagelarium in one of those ubiquitous strip centers along Hooper Avenue in Tom's River. It wasn't overly crowded for a Sunday early afternoon, and to my sweet surprise they weren't out of onion bagels. So, I ordered one with veggie cream cheese to check them out on this, my first visit. Service was friendly and efficient, and delivered to me at a small table in about 5 minutes. The bagel seemed a tad undersized compared to what I was expecting from recent experience, but aside from that it was quite good. Texture had a nice chew and pleasant onion flavor with plenty of roasted nibs all around. Cream cheese was fresh, but not overly vegified. The price was right at $5. 4 Bagels (Stars) for a satisfying visit. read more

Great service, fast and efficient! The place was packed so I knew the food had to be great. We got two different sandwiches and they were both absolutely delicious. Will definitely be back here for the turkey bacon, egg and cheese on an egg bagel! read more

Sorry use to be very good but lately no, breakfast sandwiches are not good, sorry to say use to love silverbay bagels maybe new cooks..

The bagels are amazing! Best I have ever had. However who ever is putting together these bagels needs to be educated. I almost gave it 3 stars because this is a constant issue, even when I ask for light cream cheese(but then you get hardly any so I stopped doing that) or tell them point blank please cream cheese both sides. There is no need for this much on one side of a bagel. But ultimately the bagels are consistently delicious, the staff and the owner are genuinely nice people. So I will just vent here and forewarn anyone reading this, prepare yourself to have some cream cheese with a bagel. **I realize this is my preference and some people might truly enjoy this amount of cream cheese. But because I asked and they did not do it, is where my frustrations lie** read more

Silver Bay Bagels - Cheddar habanero bagel, cream cheese and tomato. Or it's cream cheese with a bagel on the side..you decide. - Bagels Near Me - Toms River, New Jersey

Consistently excellent bagels and sandwiches. I love their bagel with sausage and cheese. Always top notch.

Local mom & pop shop with amazing bagels! Service is always friendly and amazing. They now have an app to make orders easy and stress free. I highly recommend the bagel sandwiches or just even create your own bagel sandwich. Perfect set up, but Limited seating, so grab and go is always recommended. read more

4.5 Solid bagel- solid spreads. Easy order and pay online, quick service, large signs for location. Employees were very nice, open inside and clean. Purchased a bakers dozen with three spreads: Scallion Cream cheese, Plain, and cinnamon butter. All had great flavor, the cinnamon was savory- great amount of cinnamon which we loved, not crazy sweet with sugar either/ perfect. Tried the everything bagel- half plain and half egg to try both. Equally delicious with a slight flavor decadence with the egg. Also ordered blueberry, chocolate chip, cinnamon raisin, plain, and French toast (individually wrapped, powdered sugar on top). We mixed our bagels with taylor ham, eggs, and avocado- enjoyed across. Chewy outside with soft inside- really good. I would only say these are a little less fluffy than others I tried, but think just different- not better or worse. We will be back! read more

The bagels here are amazing. The texture and the crunchiness is just absolutely delicious. I usually get scallion cream cheese and I'd say that it's pretty average. My favorite part is that they don't put too much cream cheese on their bagels. The service is incredibly fast, no matter how long the line is and there's a small seating area, but it's too crowded to ever want to sit read more

Oh I LOVE this place. Always get my bagels from here. And today they proved their customer service is out of this world. I had a quick hiccup with the app today and accidentally set my order for pick up. I called to explain that I needed my order delivered. They handled it super quick, took my address and one of their employees personally delivered it to me! read more

Silver Bay Bagels - They call this a bagel... no way... literally looks like a flagel. Borderline a Dunkin bagel - Bagels Near Me - Toms River, New Jersey

All around fantastic! An excellent and expansive selection of bagels, including my hands down favorite egg-everything!!! I stepped right up to the counter and ordered three somewhat complicated breakfast orders. The server on the other side of the counter was super friendly and made note of all the specifics. I probably waited about 10 minutes for the order, took it to the car to double check and everything was exactly what I ordered. YES!! Also, Silver Bay had big and lovely crumb cake slices out on the counter, worked out great to eat while I waited for my order! Pro tip-The western omelette breakfast sandwich on a buttered toasted egg-everything bagel, with cheese is where it's at!!! read more

I noticed Silver Bay had good Yelp reviews and needed to get my NY bagel fix. Just decided to get a dozen bagels which seemed a bit pricey at (I think) $18 ish dollars. Got a small tub of nova smoked salmon cream cheese so that raised the bill a bit too. The bagels at this shop are pretty good and they have a nice chewy texture. Was bummed they were out of cinnamon raisin but I did come in the afternoon. Some of my favorite flavors were the marbled rye, blueberry, pumpernickel, and everything. There are some seats indoors and a few tables outdoors. Of course there are other items on the menu like coffee, sandwiches, desserts, etc so you can find something to satisfy everyone in the family. read more

Silver Bay Bagels - Sausage Egg & Cheese on a French Toast Bagel - Bagels Near Me - Toms River, New Jersey

This is my bagel shop of choice. I always get an everything bagel and veggie cream cheese, but my family will branch out into other breakfast items. I don't eat eggs, but my brother's cheese omelet was, according to him, one of the best he's ever had, and the home fries (with additional peppers and onions) were so good that I snuck them off his plate when he wasn't looking. Definitely my go-to. read more

I have been coming here a long time. I thought I was done on my last visit but now I am really done. We used to LOVE Silver Bay Bagels. Lately it has been horrible. We thought it was maybe an off day but now this is consistent. They are expensive. And you don't mind if you get what you pay for. This last time our bagels were almost as flat a pancakes and the cream cheese was not spread over the bagel. We have had it. Not going back. read more

This place has been here a long time for good reason! Not only are the bagels excellent and all their sandwiches, spreads, breakfast platters and salads second to none, but there's always a smiling face waiting at the counter and they have great coffee too!! One more thing for this in a rush: ...and they always seem to manage to get the people through there quickly. Excellent and I highly recommend them!! read more

The place is extra clean with cute and modern decor. They have casual seating. They offer a self serve coffee station. Well-stocked grab-and-go area with cream cheese tubs, muffins, juices. The staff is always really friendly. They give you extra napkins and utensils. The bagels are good, a twist is the same thing as a plain bagel in case they're all out! The egg platter comes with two eggs your way, home fries, and a bagel w/ spread -- all super tasty. Chicken salad is super shredded chicken (not chunks). read more

Not a fan, been their few times and always the same, Bagels were small and doughie on inside, not raw, but undercooked. Bagels should be crusty on the outside (I look for that when deciding on what kind I want I did my best here but....) and soft and airy on inside. But these really dense. These were consistently neither. Maybe its because I worked in NYC for 15 years. Oh yea seems suspicious that within a month they won Asbury Park press best bagles, best deli and a few other awards within a month or so of being open. Go across street read more

Our go to spot when in the TR area. Best bagels around and outstanding customer service.

Bagels and sandwiches are the best in NJ, I understand everyone has their own favorite but I lived in north Jersey and thought a bagel shop up there had the best bagels until I had one at Silver Bay Bagels. The service is excellent there and they have nice sit down area with table service also. Silver Bay is very busy bagel shop sit down area has a large tv on and mostly everyone are regulars, very comfortable place to have breakfast or lunch! read more

Silver Bay Bagels is definitely my favorite bagel place in the region. Their bagels are baked fresh everyday, and they taste that way. They also do not make so many weird or experimental ones because they don't have to. They just make the best bagels. My dad is a native New Yorker, but he now lives on the West Coast. When he comes back to visit me, he always asks to go to Silver Bay Bagels. That tells you something about the quality. They renovated a couple years ago, and I like what they have done. It is nice in there. It's always busy, especially on the weekends. 4 Stars instead of 5 because I do not think the service is friendly. The times I have asked them to slice the bagels or do anything in addition, I feel as if I am bothering them. They also do that "guilt-tipping" thing with the iPads when you pay with credit card, and I find that excessive when no real sitdown service is provided or even service with a smile. I know that is a controversial opinion. But overall, this is an excellent bagel shop. read more

The bagels are great and I've always loved it since Brian took over but it's gone downhill. I stopped in for lunch today and saw several of the workers just messing around, doing nothing for most of the time I was there. I went back up to get an order to go and one of the guys making the sandwich was rubbing his head with his gloves hand! Over and over again! I said something and the manager quickly told him to change his gloves. There's too many workers with nothing to do and it looks bad to the customers when they're just fooling around. Brian you need to be there. Thanks Brian for your quick response, and for handling this in a professional manner! I will be back read more
