HOWELL: Dog friendly and healthy? A perfect combination!…read more Ready Set Juice is a new restaurant featuring cold pressed juices, smoothies, bowls, toasts, salads, and cleanses! Leashed and friendly dogs are allowed to dine inside the really beautiful and naturally decorated dining space. Veteran-owners, the couple Mangeli and John are the sweetest and most helpful in ensuring your food is fresh, high quality, and will make you feel good. Not only that, but they also offer fruit arrangements and bouquets! We loved the loaded avocado toast, berry toast, and Brie gobbled down her peanut butter toast! They just launched a great new website where you can order online for pickup or delivery! Located in the Howell Plaza Shopping Center right on Route 9 South.

She told me I needed to check it out! So this past 6/10, I did just that. EVIDENTLY, we like the same stuff in our smoothies too, because the owner asked if my daughters name was (name) and I said yes! LOL So here's the scoop, the owners wife came up with the delicious recipes and I have only had the Caramel Apple and it was so refreshing. Now, my Mini-Me has been going here practically every day and also picking up healthy juices and smoothies for her co-workers at a local (Auto Mall) so, you have to know, that these tasty smoothies are Certified Delicious!! Now, they don't open until 9:30 am, but hopefully this changes in the future for those of us who like juices/ smoothies to get our day started. BUT.... if you are looking for a new healthy lunch option, did I mention they have some great healthy salad options, Avocado toasts, or grab a meal replacement Smoothie. They even offer 3 or 6 day juice wellness cleanse and monthly Juice and Memberships. Support this new healthy business and enjoy.

Leashed and friendly dogs are welcome inside as well as at the outdoor tables, making it an easy stop for you and your pup. We loved spotting a couple of other dogs soaking up the outing with their families, always a good sign you have found a gem. They also have a location in Manalapan, so you have got options when the craving hits.

They had a special matcha for a limited time called the Applejacks matcha, so I ordered that. I had them take off the white chocolate and do oat milk because I'm vegan. I absolutely loved it. It was so delicious and flavorful, and it was the best flavored matcha I had had in a long time. I do love regular, traditional matcha with no flavoring, so I'm not talking about that. I'm just talking about a flavored matcha that was so good. After a couple of weeks, I went to the Manalapan location and had the same matcha. While it was not as good as the Brick one, I didn't really hold that against them. Then a couple of weeks later, I went back to the Brick location and they told me they didn't have matcha because they ran out. They said their customers who really love matcha were not happy about it either, and that they didn't know when they were going to get it back in. That's why I took away one star. They are a business and should make an effort to always have matcha available. Matcha not being available one day is one thing, but not having it and not knowing when it's coming back is another thing. I just don't think that's acceptable. Besides that, this place is really good. Their drinks seem really creative. I've mostly only had the matcha because I love matcha. It also seems like a really nice place to sit and study, and it always seems clean. The day they didn't have the matcha, I got a chai tea instead and it wasn't that great, so I know not to get the chai again. Overall, I do like California Cold Co. a lot and I hope the whole matcha thing doesn't happen again. It seems like a really good, solid place.

Peyrot Arrangements - Mochaccino Milkshake

Deep in Lakewood Township, you will find this shake shop cloistered away in a small shopping…read morecenter. Originally, I planned to go to another eatery, but discovered that it did not have a dining area, so I settled with this one. Brand: 5/5 Peyrot Assortment is located in Chateau Plaza in Lakewood Township and it sells fruit drinks, milkshakes, and pastries. The green perfectly encapsulates the brand, along with the cursive font. It has a clearly noticeable form, even as it dangled above the entrance despite its shortness. Website: 5/5 The main page makes a good impression on anyone who comes upon it. The green color scheme gives the website a calm, casual vibe. It also offers you a glimpse into the interactive map. While the most of the menu items do not have their own images on the Get Sauce app, since the menu selections are easy to understand based on the images it already has. Wait Time: 5/5 The preparation of the milkshake came immediately. Ambiance: 4/5 The shiny, opaque tables greet you, despite the fact that one I sat at did wobble, though I had no issues seating. The tables did come too close to each other, though I would discover they are not fastened to the floor. The menu selections accurately reflect Peyrot Arrangements' brand, for you will find an arrangement of shakes, from fruit to milk, encapsulated within a menu easy to understand. Throughout the establishment, you will hear Jewish music in both Hebrew and English that soothes your experience inside with a tolerable volume. Drink: 5/5 I ordered the Mochaccino Milkshake, which was not available on their website but on their physical menu. I will say that it did have a pleasant taste, since the mochaccino syrup provided a rich texture to the drink. The milk and the mochaccino had a well-mixed preparedness. Pertaining to form, nothing about the syrup tasted stale, rather it had a warm heat. The drink maintained that ideal temperature between warm and cold, making it tolerable. Service: 5/5 I felt well-accommodated throughout my time in Peyrot Arrangements. The owner helped adjust the tables, letting me know that they could be moved. Cost: 3/5 The shakes in any form reflect the brand perfectly. In some ways, the cursive font has that tropical homage to the tropical shakes they offer. While the Mochaccino Milkshake appeared simple, it did add value to the brand. The website also reflects the brand when it comes to the aesthetics and the menu selection. The preparation of the Mochaccino Milkshake was consistent with the taste, and the service ensured the mochaccino syrup decorated the interior of the cup. Throughout my dining time, nothing about the ambiance troubled me. Based on my first impressions, I will say that Peyrot Arrangements made a good impression with the menu and the ambiance. The website itself has an inviting presentation with the green logo. I did not worry about the ambiance while waiting, for it did not try my patience. The ambiance could benefit from more attention given to it. As someone not from Lakewood, I not only take into account the price of the food, but also the experience and the travel getting there. I cannot say with utmost certainty that I would return by negotiating through Lakewood's notorious traffic. While I did have an overall pleasant experience, I will say that the overall price was worth it somewhat. Rating: 4/5 Stars I thought that the experience made my journey to Lakewood worth it, but only a little. If I do find myself in Lakewood, I would consider Peyrot Arrangements to be a third choice. Recommend To... Anyone looking for a shake while on the Lakewood highway.

We follow this location on social media and have been excited to give it a try as everything always…read morelooks so good. A few weeks back we googled their address and wound up at their new drive-thru location also in Lakewood accidentally. We went through the very busy drive-tru ordered an everything bagel w/ veggie cream cheese and a lox salmon sandwich w veggies. Then when I got up to the window to pay I noticed a few trays of donuts. I asked the guy if he could add two donuts only to have him reply "we're really busy man", I said "ok forget it then!" How hard is it to add two donuts? Anyway he grabs a random two, boxes them and charges me $4 additional. I said "you didn't ask which I wanted", he said "I gave u the best two". They sucked. They were hard and lacked flavor. 1 was cream filled the other just a chocolate glazed. I liked the texture but that was it. The sandwiches were very small and lacked flavor. Cream cheese was very watery. I asked that my lox sandwich have all the veggies offered. I got pickles and tomatoes. Weird. Anyway yesterday we wound up at this location that we've been wanting to try from the beginning. Upon walking in it was impressive. Lots of pastries and donuts showcased. A big bar in the front with all different types of tuna salads, cream cheeses and veggies. Very appealing to the eyes. I noticed the small bagels again in the baskets, no surprise. But we went for it again. I ordered a lox sandwich with tomato, onion, capers and cream cheese. Wife everything bagel with veggie cream cheese. Again the bagels are no bigger than the palm of your hand, cream cheese is very loose, salmon was a sufficient amount without much flavor and as I waited for our order a cockroach walked along the counter in front of me which the owner/ manager quickly smashed with his hand. This is not uncommon in the food industry so I wasn't too upset although I did consider leaving. In summary, the drive-tru location was still under construction. This location was easy in the eyes and had a nice set-up. Bagels are not the big, chunky NYC bagels many of us are used to. They're no bigger than the palm of your hand. Cream cheese is weird. Prices are fair. I won't be returning.

Here in Lakewood Township, you will find this bakery in the Goldmont Center…read more Brand: 5/5 Hershy's Bakery is located in the Goldmont Center in Lakewood Township as a corner store. I do like the logo, for it uses as much of its simplicity as possible while maintaining a fancy posture. The sign has a noticeable presence in this shopping center as you walk around. Concerning the interior, I will say that the food itself adds to the brand. Website: 2/5 While the website does look decent, it is incomplete, therefore I cannot give it a favorable score. I do see the potential in terms of functionality and aesthetics, but the entire website contains sample text. It does have the vital information, such as contact information. It does say that it serves babka, peanut chew, cakes, and pastries, but it does not provide you with images of these products. Wait Time: 5/5 I did not have to wait for long to purchase my order. Ambiance: 3/5 On the outside, I could see this large corner store in the Goldmont Center that I could clearly imagine catering to many customers. Once I stepped inside, the ambiance felt quite underwhelming. I did not expect to find a small bakery with some of the goods still stacked in some of the noticeable racks, and no tables. Another problem was the lack of labels in the glass counters. It does maintain its cleanliness though. Food: 5/5 I tried four cinnamon rugelachs, and I will say that it was my satisfactory introduction to rugelachs. It had a more cinnamon taste and less bread taste, which helps balances these pastries. The establishment served baskets of rugelach in the open, and I will say that even then, they did not become hard or stale. They retained their fluffy forms and their cinnamon tastes. The website provides some of the menu items, while the Yelp menu has all the options available to you, such as challah bread, danishes, cookies, cakes, and donuts. Service: 5/5 The owner did not have an issue with informing you if you looking for a particular pastry. Worth The Money?: 3/5 The food reflects the brand in all its simplicity, for you will find many Jewish delicacies in this establishment. While it would help Hershy's Bakery's website to show specific images of the food, if I am to believe the awards cataloged in the About Us page, then it would help develop its credibility if ownership updated the entire website. Indeed, the font and the images already on the website already add to its ambiance. I will say that the food does add to the ambiance of the bakery. I would recommend adding labels to the foods. The ambiance made both the wait time and service tolerable. Would I say that Hershy's Bakery is worth it as a small business? Yes. As a place to frequent despite not being from Lakewood Township? Probably not. I can only consider this establishment a choice if I was traveling through Lakewood and happened upon the Goldmont Center. I will say that the owner did balance my order on a weight scale, giving it a fair price. So, I cannot complain. Rating: 4/5 Stars Needless to say, I will say that Hershy's Bakery is quite a good establishment overall. I got to introduce myself to rugelachs despite the limitations. Recommend To... Any other Gentiles who want to try kosher delicacies but do not know where to start, or are hesitate to bake them yourselves. I will tell you that Hershy's Bakery offers you a glimpse into Jewish cuisine with a fresh basket of rugelachs.
