I dealt with Marty Leitao for my project. My project was to fill and grade my backyard and put up a…read morefence. He required a deposit which I was annoyed with because the contractor registration board told me any reputable company does not ask for a deposit upfront. Upon starting the project, I noticed he was starting the fence first. I asked Marty why would they start the fence first and not fill and grade the yard first. He told me to trust him. He's done this before and it'll turn out fine. I said, but it just doesn't make any sense to not work on your foundation first he became upset with me that I was questioning him and told me that this was his business and he knew what he was doing. So I let him go and the first part of the fence came out crooked. I was unhappy with that and he got mad at me, clearly I didn't have the right to be upset?! The gates came out crooked as well. The construction was poorly done, and the handles on the pull out gates were put on the inside instead of the outside. I asked him why these things would be happening, and he said his carpenters were experienced and that I was just impossible to please. Seriously?! I would also like to add that they littered my property with cigarette butts and one of his workers even left fish bones out on the grassy area right in front of my house after eating his lunch. So rude and disrespectful! I asked Marty numerous times to please come and take a walk-through with me so I could show him all of the things that needed to be fixed. He ignored me over and again until I finally filed suit in court. Miraculously he answered me so I gave him the opportunity to make things right. Ultimately that did not happen because the same people he had working on the fence the first time, had just come back again. Clearly, if you don't know how to do it right the first time you're not gonna get it right the second time so here we are... The photos of his companies work proved enough for me to win a judgment in court. Needless to say, Leitao and sons landscaping has not made good on it which I'm not surprised. I do find it sad that he is causing unnecessary stress and financial hardship to people that are trusting in his company. Just awful! Enjoy the photos!

Advanced Tree gave us one estimate and that was the final price. They took great care to remove each part of our old tree safely. They also ground down the stump as well. The tree was a danger to our home because it was diseased. Thanks to our deck, sitting right next to the tree, the crew had very little room to work. In spite of this, the job went off like clockwork. We want to thank Chuck, Dylan, Donna and Jimmy from Advanced Tree for working so well in oppressive heat. They were kind and answered any questions we had. Advanced Tree did this dangerous work for a fair price and we recommend them to anyone who needs tree removal done. Had my driveway resurfaced in late august of 2024. Crew damaged my garage siding and Joe and I…read morereached an agreement for the damage - which was fine. In April of 2025, a few cracks stated to develop. I called and got a commitment to repair but no stated date because of the amount of work - again ok. However, after a couple of months, I called again assuming they forgot me. Since then, I have gotten the run around. They have committed dates and never showed, email interactions with no useful response, and even a commitment to arrive on a Saturday around noon to 1pm. As expected - even though I called to confirm - Joe never showed. The cracks are now about 8 feet and 3 feet long. Will be finding someone else to seal the driveway. I just would not recommend them. Update: October 2025: Pardini actually arrived 3 hours late and sealed the driveway. Six months of pestering got some action. I have updated to 3 stars.

The shrub work went well but the detaching job was not complete. Most of my lawn is still sporting the thatch and moss I had asked them to remove. When we discussed the quality of the detach work, the there was no offer to complete the work to my satisfaction, just excuses about the thickness of the moss/thatch. When I bid out work, I am careful to price appropriately and finish the job to my client's satisfaction. I don't think that either of those tenets were followed by Harmon and Sons. I was offered a discount on the price which I took as a quick way out, but to me, the money I gave them was wasted because I still need to pay someone else to have the work done. Overall, communications were weak once we came to agreement on scope of work and price with workers showing up without any notice. I expected more from Harmon and Sons given their reputation and recommendations from others.
