Recently we acquired another property which had a backyard covered in mulch and littered with tiny baby trees that sprouted everywhere (seriously it was awful). The trees shading the backyard had not been cared for in years. We hired them to landscape the backyard and plant grass and trim back the big oaks and some other trees. The backyard is looking great so far and we just had a massive rain storm and while some neighbors had small limbs fall onto their yard, our backyard was spared. The quote for the tree trimming was in line with other quotes we received and we found the team to be kind and courteous of our home. They did an amazing job and we will be calling them for future landscaping needs.

After telling me my 20ft Junipers had no fungus(which I was sure they had), the came back and recommended three fungicide treatments. I asked them to prune three white birch only to prevent sagging. Instead, they cut two of them so short, the provide no privacy and left the third one 10 feet taller requiring another company to treat. Then they decided since they were pruning, they would also send a chemical specialist/"arborist" to my property without my permission. Came home one day to find a stranger had let himself into my back yard without warning and no concern for my pups who have access to that yard. After a few visits, I have given up and fired them. Try anyone else.

I didn't schedule a snowplow & I haven't been able to go to work since last week. No one was available until I tried Gary's tree and landscaping. Gary responded he would do what he can. The next day Gary came and cleared our driveway. We had more than a foot of snow and our driveway is long and has steep areas. Gary saved our month! I found Gary to be polite , professional, and he charged a very competitive rate. Highly recommended!!

The cleanup was done, but over a dozen very tall 50'-70' trees were in disrepair. I called Gary as this is one of his specialties. He sent a two man crew and in a full day of climbing, most of the limbs were repaired in order to produce new growth in 2013. They still are a shadow of there former selves, but I am hopeful the expert pruning will help aid in their recovery. Gary is a very trustworthy and professional. The crew showed up on time on the day promised, and wow.... you can really tell these guys are professionals. They wasted no time and immediately got to work downing and disposing of these trees. They are hard workers who don't mess around! They got all 18 trees down in one day, and only had to come back to grab a few logs and grind some stumps. All in all a great experience, and I will be using them next year to take down another 18 or so trees by our pool. I would recommend them to anyone!

I wish i had been smart enough at the time to ask for a Quote/Statement of Work in Written - I am sure someone eventually will take him to Sm. Claims Court! Now, I did honor MY word, and mailed him a check after he invoiced me like THREE months after his lack of service ( I had thought, he took noticed I was a single women and heard that I mentioned I am on a very tight budget, i had a student willing to mow for min. wage, and he was doing an honorable deed by mowing my lawn at NO CHARGE... so i had never questioned the lack of invoice ), he Then waited "SIX MONTHS " to Cash this check; which to my surprise was very unexpected... when i have bills to pay/living paycheck to paycheck! With the check i had mailed i had enclosed a letter of disappointment that the work he offered was NOT done and couldn't understand how he would want his companies name associated with this kind of service... I had also called prior to sending payment, in which he did NOT return.... he never rectified the bad/poor service. I did not call or write more than once... I had just Honored MY own word, and agreed to send payment without his questioning... I was hoping a respectable company would FIX their own ERROR (lack of yard service); which he did not. Therefor, this leads me to write this review: PLEASE USE ANOTHER COMPANY or like me, you will be Disappointed Guaranteed. P.S. get your S.O.W. in written. Good Luck

He gave me a timeline for getting the work done based on his availability, which was a few weeks out. He was careful with his equipment not to damage my yard (the chipper was huge), and he chipped all the material within a few hours. I want to comment on his clean-up as I have never had another contractor do such a fantastic job. My yard, and the four areas with the very large piles of dead trees were spotless. He did a much better job cleaning that I could have done on my best day. No little twigs, no leaves, and no damage to the grass that was under the pile. Spotless. Dave did everything that I wanted, on time, for a reasonable price, and made it look easy. If you need tree service, I would highly recommend you reach out to Dave.
