They then scheduled a time to come out. We went over the project, and I was told it was definitely something they do & getting me a quote would be no problem. Later that day I was informed it would take a couple of weeks to get back with the quote, because they do several bids a day & it takes time to get them out. 3 weeks later (this morning) I get an email saying they won't be bidding my work, because they are changing their scope of work, and this just isn't the kind of job they're looking for. Too bad, because once I learn the building process on my ADU I have plans to move on to doing a small subdivision.... And things will only go up from there. My family has built residential & commercial real estate for decades, and I am presently looking for the right people to use in the future. Not the best way to run a business, but hey.... Maybe they don't think long term & that's ok. Most business like that will peak & by the next generation will diminish into nothing. These guys wasted my time, and ultimately acted too good for my job.

Thankfully I found Grizzly Demolition on Instagram! Nathan and his team will handle the whole project for you. They took care of demoing a large plot of concrete pad from a 3 bedroom house, a chain link fence and the footing for the fence (which, surprise, went two feet deep!) for us and hauled all the debris away, which totaled a couple tons in his huge 10 wheeler dump truck! Nathan was able to get us on the schedule quickly, and the work was done effectively and surprisingly quietly! He has very specific and specialized machinery to do the job. Victor and his team really came to the rescue in our driveway project. We wanted to widen our…read moredriveway but there is a gas line and massive tree roots in the area that needed to be excavated. Due to the difficulty and risk involved for excavation, it was hard to find a contractor to take on the job but from my initial consult with Victor, him and his team noted their experience with these scenarios and he was confident they can do it in less than a day. On excavation day they brought the necessary equipment and tools and were very cautious about the gas pipe. They ended up finishing the job in less than a half day! To follow up, we realized we needed more excavation at the apron of the driveway and Victor again came to the rescue and excavated that for us a week later.
