I had an excellent experience with Legacy for our pool demolition project from start to finish. It's a family-run business, and both Nalu and Pablo were outstanding--responsive, patient, and clear at every step. They took the time to explain the process, answer all of my questions, and kept me informed throughout the project. The workmanship was top-notch. The crew showed up early morning, worked efficiently, and left the site clean and well organized. Everything was done exactly as promised, with great attention to detail and no shortcuts. On top of that, their pricing was very reasonable compared to other quotes we received, and there were no surprise fees. What they quoted is what we paid. If you're looking for a reliable, professional, and fairly priced company for a pool demo, I highly recommend them. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or refer them to friends and family.

I appreciate that they came out to bid the job, but what a waste of my time…read more They asked for plans, so I sent them the structural & architectural drawings to review prior to our meeting. They then scheduled a time to come out. We went over the project, and I was told it was definitely something they do & getting me a quote would be no problem. Later that day I was informed it would take a couple of weeks to get back with the quote, because they do several bids a day & it takes time to get them out. 3 weeks later (this morning) I get an email saying they won't be bidding my work, because they are changing their scope of work, and this just isn't the kind of job they're looking for. Too bad, because once I learn the building process on my ADU I have plans to move on to doing a small subdivision.... And things will only go up from there. My family has built residential & commercial real estate for decades, and I am presently looking for the right people to use in the future. Not the best way to run a business, but hey.... Maybe they don't think long term & that's ok. Most business like that will peak & by the next generation will diminish into nothing. These guys wasted my time, and ultimately acted too good for my job.

Five plus stars for GHS! GHS originally did our front lawn, putting in all new sod, irrigation,…read moreplanting beds and a new walkway. We were so impressed with their work crew and the quality of the job, that we also had them do our backyard about a year later which involved putting in a new paver patio, artificial turf and walkway. Both projects turned out even better than we had hoped! Dan does a thorough job of coming out and discussing your project needs and "wish list" of things you want to do. He creates a design and a budget and he works with you every step of the way, addressing your questions, concerns and/or modifications. Throughout the course of both projects we changed our minds about a few aspects and Dan was flexible and made sure we were 100% happy with the final result. His office team is also super helpful and responsive since Dan is often out on site. I also cannot say enough about the crew he has working for him. They show up every day on time, they are very neat and clean up at the end of each day. They work very quickly but they are also meticulous in getting every detail right. I cannot recommend GHS enough. No matter how big or small your project is, Dan and his team will do an amazing job!

The job was pretty straightforward but the land did have a slight slope to it. Dimension gave me great recommendations from their experience on number of piles, retaining wall, parking curbs, and even incorporated a pipe running under the concrete for future electrical system and irrigation that I requested. I would hire them again for any concrete work or anything else that they are willing to do. Their communication through the whole process was excellent, which is something that I value very highly.

Dimension built the large retaining walls (main wall: 11 to 12 feet tall x 120 feet wide; planter…read morewall: 4 feet tall x 100 feet wide) and drainage systems as part of our landscape project on a steep slope. Before getting introduced to Dimension, I reached out to some other concrete contractors in the Bay Area; many of them didn't even respond perhaps because of the complexity in the job while others responded with quotes that were not backed up by enough details. Dimension's quote came in with a good level of detail with very reasonable price; in addition, it had all the paper work required by the city, from workers' compensation to liability insurance. When the actual work got started, we were really pleased to see good signs of a great construction company. The crews knew how to read plans, were highly skilled and they were really hardworking (to the point that we were worried they didn't take enough breaks!). Since there was quite a bit of demolition, the crew cleaned up our driveway every day before they left. Nick, the owner, was very organized, along with great support from the office manager Daniela. Nick checked in and communicated with us on a daily basis, and was very patience in listening and responding to our questions. He got all the equipment and materials in order and he was very experienced in dealing with field engineers and city inspectors. As with any large projects, we also had "surprises" that were not covered by the plans and had to make changes accordingly. Each time when a surprise popped up, Nick put our project's interest first and tried to make flexible accommodations, even though it meant he would make a bit less money out of such changes. His homeowner-first approach was in stark contrast with dishonest contractors who low-balled their quotes just to get into projects and then take advantage of the change orders to make money. Many thanks to Dimension, we couldn't be happier with the new walls and drainage systems. In so many ways, we were lucky to get to know Dimension through their excellence. And when neighbors asked for referrals, we had no hesitation in recommending Dimension.

I don't write many reviews anymore, and honestly, I haven't had many contractor experiences that…read morewould motivate me to change that. But Lassiter Excavation was so good that I couldn't continue to be lazy.  For context, I was replacing an old 35,000-gallon swimming pool with a skinnier lap pool. Lassiter started by completely removing the massive 1975 pool, including every scrap of concrete and piping.  Then they backfilled and compacted. Working to my soils engineer's specifications, they imported and compacted 18 truckloads of quarry fines in carefully controlled 8-inch lifts through the full 12-foot depth of the deep end, all the way to finished grade. They used multiple pieces of equipment, including jumping jacks, a Bobcat, and a vibratory sheepsfoot roller (which I had to look up), and they coordinated compaction testing throughout the process.  When they were done, it looked like a pool had never been there. The site was fully prepared for the new excavation, which Lassiter then completed flawlessly.  I measured their forms with a laser level and laser tape measure, and length, width, diagonals, position and elevations were all within 1/8 inch. That's impressive considering the new lap pool is nearly 60 feet long. When they were finished digging, the walls and floor were razor straight and right on their marks. The crews were outstanding -- friendly, hardworking, detail-oriented, and consistently professional. They maintained an exceptionally clean jobsite throughout the project and even helped me reclaim some old redwood decking.  Special thanks to Santana, Ricardo, Daniel, Jose and team for answering all my questions and caring so much about the end result. If you're considering any excavation work, I highly recommend reaching out to Lassiter Excavation and talking with Bob. They exceeded my expectations in every respect.

I just wanted the weeds and grass gone. I had been planning to renovate my backyard and driveway…read morefor at least 2 years. I shopped around and got 7 different bids. CIP wasn't the cheapest, nor were they the most expensive, but their responsiveness and communication set them apart. Humberto was responsive from the beginning, answered my questions, and, more importantly, gave me thoughtful answers to the questions I was actually asking. That made a huge difference in my decision to hire them. I'm very analytical. This was a large project, around 1,800 sq ft of work between the backyard and driveway, but the entire process caused surprisingly little disruption. Even the demolition, unloading materials didn't disrupt my neighbors much, and the project stayed on schedule. What impressed me most after everything was completed were the finishing details. Things most people probably wouldn't notice immediately, the placement of the fasteners in the turf, the edges and transitions, and how the perimeter of the pavers sits flush against the fence. Those little details are what make the finished project look professionally done instead of simply "finished." It looks like a part of the planning of the house now. And the transformation has been incredible. Before this project, our backyard was largely unusable for my family. I was basically the only person who spent much time back there, mostly working wiht the weeds. Now it has become a space that my wife and kids can actually enjoy and I reclaimed time with my family. I probably get a compliment on the yard at least once a week. Not sure why I can't add photos to this review because the before-and-after difference really tells the story. I did post photos with my Google review if you want to see the transformation. After spending two years researching contractors and getting multiple bids, I can confidently say I made the right choice. Hire Humberto and CIP Pavers
