Though I've never reviewed a photography studio, I'd like to give this studio and couple a shout out. I came here one evening for a boudoir photo session, and was expecting to find a bed. Something that I'm used to seeing during boudoir sessions. However, no bed was to be found. I was confused but also very curious as to why this was. I went to change into my first outfit and shyly walked out. I sat on a chair and the rest was history. Before the shoot: Laura spoke with me and told me what to expect. She laid out the plans to have a cabaret style shoot and to bring my best lingerie. She did have a few things in the studio, she said, but as a plus size model, I purchased a few things to make sure I would be comfortable and fit. When walking in the studio, I met with Mark, her husband and the editor of the photos. He was very kind and offered a lot of support for his wife. It was nice to see a great couple working together doing what they love. During the shoot: Laura was very helpful. She offered poses that would not only make me feel sexy, but also direction that would make my body look fantastic in the photos. Unfortunately, one do the poses that I loved doing didn't make the final cut - if only I looked great in that one. It was one of my favorite things. She had me balancing with one leg extended on a chair, "cabaret" style. She even put a laptop in front of me to see a small part of the movie to get me in the spirit. She offered music that was both comforting and fun, and the atmosphere was just.. beautiful. We worked very well and I felt my best working with her. It was wonderful. After the shoot: Laura and I agreed to a video chat where she shared my best images and I chose the ones that I wanted to edit. It was an easy process and it took only a few minutes. I was stunned to see how gorgeous they turned out. She offered a great variety to choose from and I was happy with my choices. The end result was a great experience and beautiful memorable photos. My husband was pleased and he loved the entire experience watching on the sides line and seeing the results. The only thing that I would recommend is a fan. Instead of just laying out "here's how it works, here's what you get for this price," etc., he asked a lot about what I was looking for, what I hoped to get out of it, my motivations or inspirations, etc. That personal touch carried throughout the experience. He consistently made an effort to understand what I was looking for--from the planning process to the photo shoot to going through the photos afterward--to make sure that I got exactly what I was hoping for. The photos themselves are absolutely awesome. It's incredible the different looks and feels he creates in a relatively small studio. More importantly, he just has an incredible eye for what is going to look good and how to create looks, moods, etc. I felt super comfortable the whole time, and I think that shows in the final product. Once my session was over, she explained to me the process for getting my album. She gave me options for the cover and let me choose the photos I wanted in the album. I can't claim to be an expert on the art of photography but I have strong opinions on what I like and don't like. Before our session I felt a little self conscious and I had warned Lone that I might prove to be one of her more 'curvier' clients and that given the wrong angle I might not be one of her most photogenic! I was intrigued by them and thought we could use something similar for the empty space above our fireplace at home. I wanted to hang some kind of art other than a painting there, anyway. I did some research online and found similar art work on Etsy. However, I wasn't comfortable ordering online for something the size we wanted without seeing their actual work in person. When our daughter was in town at the end of March, we went to Terrain again to get her opinion and to discuss with the staff there in more detail before deciding to order a single custom art piece. We talked to one of their designers, Reid, about the different options, and told her our budget, the size, the wood pieces and decorative elements we liked. Reid was incredible and so easy to work with. She sent us photos of her beautiful initial design of the moss art base and some decorative options after about a week. After exchanging a couple emails and talking on the phone with her, we stopped by to look at some of the elements in person as we're in the area that day, anyway. We loved how Reid refined the piece based on our feedback, and always kept us posted on any changes in price estimates. The end result looked stunning! When we picked up the moss art, another staff took great care in finding a large box and wrapping it so that we could bring the piece back home safely. We really appreciated it. I signed up for Terrain text message and got a 10% off code. They honored it at the store, as well. Every time we're in the store, we always found something interesting to look at, and the staff were super friendly. It's been more than 6 months, and the moss art still looks great. We love it!

My wife and I recently visited this store and had one of the worst shopping experiences we've ever…read morehad. She picked out several clothing items, and one of them was from the discount rack clearly marked with a red tag showing a lower price. We tried it on, liked it, and decided to purchase it. At checkout, however, the system did not reflect the discount. When I pointed out the red tag, the cashier called the manager, Csar, to resolve the issue. Instead of apologizing for the mistake or honoring the clearly marked price, Csar told us "we didn't tag it, customers could put a tag on it." That statement was not only dismissive but also insulting, essentially accusing customers of tampering with tags rather than acknowledging the store's responsibility.
